The staff was quick and friendly. The croissants were good, actually excellent. I don't understand why the cashier looked at me askance when I paid with coins, not with a swipe of paper.

Quality pastry shop, friendly and knowledgeable staff, the bartender made us a top shakerato, I recommend it and yet very kind as is the bartender with glasses who gives me the coffee mignons which are a spectacle

A benchmark for beautiful pastry shops in the Udine area, Ungaro always boasts excellent service combined with the superb quality of its products. It's like entering a dimension of pleasure for the taste buds and the mind. All the small pastries and cakes are excellent. The bar service is equally impressive.

The pastries are classic, without flashy touches but with consistent quality, and the aperitivo is also well-curated, with simple yet authentic options. The atmosphere is quiet, ideal for a break without the hustle and bustle.
Don't expect a modern or Instagrammable place: it's more traditional than stylish. This is precisely why it retains its authentic character.

For us, Ungaro is our Friday aperitivo! A place we return to end the work week and where we're greeted by the smiles of the staff, who are not only friendly but also extremely professional!
The drinks are made to perfection and always come with plenty of pretzels, toasted almonds, olives, and chips. It's certainly not the buffet you find in some places, but it's all quality, and it makes all the difference.
Of course, we also tried the pastries, and they were delicious. I don't understand the complaints about them being expensive, given that this small pastry shop is known for its meticulous workmanship.
