23/12/2025: Retired too good to go but I was disappointed

23/12/2025: We ordered the menu of the day. The main course wasn't bad, but the first courses were poor. Ham and mushroom ravioli: instead of ravioli, they were small, poor-quality tortellini, and the ham, instead of the classic seared and fried ham squares, was pieces of ham slices. The first course absolutely didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation. The desserts were good.

30/12/2025: From the beginning: I was looking for good, strong coffee. Somewhere where I could at least soak up some of the local atmosphere, since I was only there for a short time, but I like that kind of vibe. Pros: Small space, limited selection, friendly and dynamic service. If I ever return to Bergamo, I'll have my first coffee there, and all the others. At the bar.

18/03/2026: I'm shocked by how I was treated this evening, St. Patrick's Day 2026, after years of being a customer of this establishment. After a long line, I managed to buy a Guinness at the counter outside. Once I paid, I stood aside to allow others in line to be served, waiting for my beer to be served. After really waiting no more than a minute or two, I asked where my beer was, and the guy at the counter, with an arrogance and aggression I'd truly never seen in this establishment, told me I was trying to rip him off and that I hadn't paid. I tried to show him both the receipt and the transaction on the app. He said it wasn't okay anyway because the payment time wasn't visible, and that I should stop trying to rip him off. So I didn't get my St. Patrick's Guinness, and I was even accused of being a scammer. I've been coming to this establishment for 10 years! I don't care about the €6.50 I spent, but I think I'm owed an apology! I expect it because I don't want to be left with a bad memory of a place I've always loved and know is run by serious, respectable people.

31/12/2025: I bought salted cod but it was disgusting to eat, you didn't know anything about it and yet I paid €27 per kilo instead in Torre Annunziata I paid €19 per kilo and it was good never to taste again too expensive and disgusting.

The dough is excellent, but in some cases the toppings could have been more flavorful (like the seafood in my case, which was better with the "fantasia" pizza), and the individual dishes could have been better. Prices are quite high, perhaps a bit too high.
