25/06/2025: Today we were at this restaurant for the first time and we opted for the "Menu of the Day" formula: at a cost of €17.50 per person, the menu includes a first course, a second course with side dish, service charge, water and 1/4 of wine. I had the meat dishes: Tortiglioni Sausage and broccoli and Saltimbocca alla romana with mashed potatoes; NonZio had the fish dishes: Farfalle with seafood ragù and Roasted octopus with spinach. We were both happy with the dishes they served us: they were well cooked and tasty. The bread basket was good and also included a small olive roll and a whole wheat one with sesame seeds. The warm focaccia with oil and oregano, offered as an entrée, was very welcome. Since the Menu of the Day formula also included wine, I chose a sparkling white, which was very pleasant (NonZio instead only had water because he had to drive...). To close the lunch, an inevitable macchiato coffee for both of us, which is not included in the menu, but is charged only 1 euro (while everywhere else now it costs 1.50 if not 2 euros). The only flaw we found, the very very slow service (or perhaps disorganized): as soon as we sat down as a couple they came to ask for the order but without having brought us the menu, once we had the menu we waited more than a quarter of an hour to order. After the first course (which arrived very slowly) we waited almost half an hour before the second course arrived, so much so that we were no longer even very hungry... Fortunately we were not in a hurry, but we entered at 12.45 and left at past 2... I hope it's a coincidence, because it's a nice place and the staff is numerous, but perhaps today it was a little disorganized. We will return to try other menus and also the pizza and hope to be able to correct the evaluation of the service. A question: can anyone tell me what the mega robot outside means?

08/07/2025: The atmosphere of a '90s English pub is great. One of my favorite places! Annalisa, the owner, is kind, friendly, and helpful: after asking, she even adapted and now offers gluten-free beers. The evenings with live music are a must-see; booking a table well in advance is highly recommended!

05/04/2025: Take the sandwich with cooked ham, porcini mushrooms, scamorza and mushroom cream! TOP! The BIG HOUSE burger is also delicious so get it, it also has fries!! Super crunchy and piping hot inside, delicious. 5 stars to the owner and her partner in the kitchen who put up with us this evening after we hadn't been back for more than 10 years, everything was super, even the coffee was good, very good! Bye bye!

05/07/2025: Seafood is excellent and of high quality. Prosecco comes as a complimentary treat. Wines and atmosphere are also very nice. It has received fewer comments because it is located on a side street, but it deserves much more visits and praise.

27/07/2025: Fantastic in every way. Family run with three/four generations working. Been to many different places across Italy and this was the very best in terms of atmosphere, food and value for money. The definition of genuine and only locals there.

27/07/2025: Incredibly genuine and well-prepared Italian dinner that tasted absolutely amazing! Family-owned restaurant where three generations worked tonight and the youngest son gave us excellent service! All food, a bottle of Montepulciano and espresso for 50 euros. Sometimes Limoncello to finish 🤌

21/06/2025: No friendly service and no atmosphere. Tasteless food; swordfish with tagliatelle had no taste and fish was dry. The grilled vegetables that were ordered were cold. Other dish, fried chicken, was also very dry. When clearing up, we reported and when paying again that we were very disappointed. This was taken very seriously because main courses were not charged and we were offered a dessert. Service orientation is therefore top, but not recommended for eating out.

29/06/2025: Nuova gestione dal 7 maggio. Di fronte l'immenso parcheggio. Varcato l'ingresso la sala con 16 coperti nella parte a sinistra e 14 in quella a destra. La toilette è al piano superiore, per accedervi si può usare anche l'ascensore. Locale climatizzato. Chef Ivan Milani; in sala Lidia e Matteo addetto anche ai vini, gancio per la borsa, vino versato. Musica in sottofondo; il pranzo: Vino: - Spumante Pinot Nero Metodo Classico Extra Brut "Rocca Pietra" Blanc de Noirs az. Scuropasso. Pane da lievito madre e grissini maison. TAGLIERE (condiviso): - selezione del Boscasso e Cavanna, formaggi di capra e vacca. PRIMI: - rigatoni Felicetti, crema di peperoni, acciuga, pane croccante. - ditalini Felicetti, zuppa fredda ai tumatic, cagliata di capra e fragole verdi fermentate. DESSERT: - pesca di Volpedo ripiena. - panna cotta e salsa al caffè (con rum e marsala). Caffè a chiudere. La carta dei vini la stanno approntando, al momento sono presenti circa 300 etichette che aumenteranno considerevolmente; a scaffale le bottiglie sono prezzate per la vendita, se consumate al bistrot il ricarico è del 45%. Non è previsto il menù degustazione; à la carte 3 taglieri, più che sufficienti anche per due persone, da 14 a 16€; 4 antipasti da 12 a 16€; 3 primi da 12 a 14€; 2 secondi a 12 e 16€; 3 dessert da 6 a 7€. Una bellissima proposta; taglieri che possono essere accompagnati da un buon calice di vino e una cucina intrigante e innovativa. Spoileriamo che probabilmente a novembre dovrebbe partire il progetto del ristorante nella parte dietro del cascinale, mentre qui rimarrà il bistrot, entrambi avranno propri nomi. A fine pranzo lo Chef è passato per tutti i tavoli; piacevole e gradita la chiacchierata. Tanta gentilezza in sala e un'ottima cucina; complimenti!

26/06/2025: Nestled in the park, this kiosk offers simple, well-executed dishes and excellent drinks. It is inexpensive but, above all, a beating heart of culture. It organizes high-level live music events and also fun stand-up comedy shows.

14/07/2025: ⭐ 1/5 – Absolutely not an Irish bar We visited Mulligans in Milan tonight after being lured in by their website, which promises “authentic Irish spirit, fine whiskies, select beers, and home-cooked cuisine.” What we got was something else entirely. First off, barely anything from the menu advertised online was actually available. We ordered what we could: some fish and chips (the chips were clearly precooked and reheated – soggy, greasy, and lifeless), and a roast chicken for one of the kids that was as dry as the Sahara desert. Honestly, the place is a sandwich bar at best, masquerading as a pub. The decor? Sure, it has a few old clay pipes on the wall – and that’s where the “Irish” theme ends. I tried a pint of Guinness, and although they went to the trouble of putting a shamrock on top, it was far too warm. A warm Guinness in an "Irish" bar is a sin in itself. We even paid for a taxi to get there, expecting something genuinely Irish. But €107 later, we walked out and bought a pizza from Lidl – and it was the best decision of the night. Their website boldly states: “The warmth of a true Irish pub awaits you.” In reality, this place is about as Irish as Tom Cruise in the 1992 movie Far and Away. In fact, that might be when the fries were first cooked too. Save your time and your money – this is not the Irish pub experience you’re looking for. --

17/06/2025: We went there as a group for a birthday of a friend. Server and everyone working there were so nice and helpful about everything

05/08/2025: Speechless. We were very disappointed with the service, despite the restaurant's appearance as a welcoming and well-kept one. We arrived with two small children and were in a hurry to eat because the kids were tired. After seating us with the designated booster seats, they moved us from our tables for no reason, causing discomfort. One of the waiters, when we were ordering, treated us with an arrogant tone and a lack of helpfulness, far from the welcome one would expect in a quality establishment. The vegetable soup for the little girl wasn't available, the portion for the other child was really small, and overall the service was rushed and careless. We asked for a bottle of sparkling water, which arrived at room temperature, and when we asked for ice, we were told it had just been taken out of the refrigerator (when it was clearly the opposite). A negative experience in many ways, especially for a family with children. What a shame.

04/08/2025: Ristorante nella piazza principale di Bormio. Servizio molto attento e cordiale. Davvero eccellenti le specialità valtellinese a partire dagli sciatt fino ai pizzoccheri. Ottima anche la bavarese finale con salsa all'amaro Braulio. Prezzo normale. Merita una visita
