03/06/2025: A must-see for their stracciatella, recommended by a friend from Bergamo! We decided to give it a try, and it was delicious! €5 for a cone with stracciatella ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate wafer topping. We found it to be mild and not overly sweet, so we gave it a thumbs-up.

30/05/2025: First of all, I had already been there a few times years ago... today I came back and I saw a completely renovated place, very beautiful.... But!!! Service by unfriendly waiters who don't even look you in the face, less lunch work increased to 15 euros, but also the service..... so honestly the game is not worth the candle... ok to have made a nice place, but maybe if there was a little more sympathy it wouldn't hurt.

29/05/2025: Simple but nice place, only 30 seats. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly. The prices are medium-high, the only big flaw is the obligation to have two courses per person because the owner said that since they have few seats they can't make money. I found it absurd.

There's nothing to say about the food, as people from Puglia the fish dishes are exquisite, we were speechless, so we immediately asked to speak to the manager, from the beginning he was a bit rude as his first response was: wait a minute I just arrived. So we had lunch and asked again if we could speak to him, explaining to the waiter that we were interested in the restaurant as a location for our wedding, we had to call him three times before he arrived, however, understanding that we hadn't made an appointment and that it was a busy day, we pointed out that we would be back, in the end he insisted on making this blessed appointment. We found ourselves in front of a person who reluctantly showed us the place, I would like to point out that the restaurant is present on matrimonio.com, when we politely told him that we didn't like his proposal, he started to insistently look at the clock, furthermore all the nice settings that were present have all been eliminated, the lake has been removed, ditto the swimming pool and the olive tree park he said that it is abandoned and in disuse, so I say why not change the advertising on matrimonio.com? Furthermore, in the end, in addition to being treated like dirt, having asked us for €20,000 for the exclusive location for lunch and dinner (we didn't want exclusivity but since there were two other rooms for hotel guests, we wanted to understand if it was possible to have the large room downstairs for us instead of cramming ourselves into a corner and eating with the other guests, we also asked if we could change the day to the week instead of Saturday, since we understood that since it was a wedding for 80 people, perhaps asking for such a large room for us was a bit too much, so we were willing to compromise, we were told that either you do it like this or nothing), furthermore, in addition to the rudeness and arrogance with which we were treated, they also made us pay for the little bottle of water that the girl at the counter had offered me, well, we were stunned, thank goodness Mr. Giovanni says that the property has cut the funds for weddings because they are no longer done, weddings are not done because of this absurd management, the ridiculous proposals and rudeness that we have found ourselves faced with, get out of matrimonio.com if you are so annoyed by doing them and change that misleading advertising and you will see that no one will bother you anymore...

10/06/2025: The quality of the raw materials and dishes is always top notch. The locations are always top notch. The only flaw is that they have drastically reduced the portions, especially in the "Gran Simposio" appetizer, and increased the prices quite a bit.... And fortunately we were all teetotalers, I don't dare to imagine if we would have had wine....

25/05/2025: Absolutely not recommended for aperitif, the tables are in the middle of cigarette butts and pigeons that are both under and on the table. Rancid peanuts and drinks prepared in an approximate way. The dishes are leftovers from lunch (cold hamburger sandwich in quarters, reheated and soggy pizza). Approximate and slightly unfriendly service. The pastry shop was one of the reference ones in the area but I didn't try it

15/04/2025: I had two barley coffees sitting at the table, yes, the view of the lake is beautiful but in Porlezza there are others... well, €6 and I'm not a tourist!!!

24/03/2025: This is a chocolate shop. When you point to the gift box behind the cash register and tell them what chocolate you like, they will choose a variety for you. The prices are much more reasonable than other high-end stores (they gave me about 20 pieces for €18), so I recommend them as souvenirs.

28/02/2025: Il mio voto basso va a chi vi ha progettato il locale, dovreste farvi risarcire. Non si riesce neanche a entrare per prendere il caffè si fa la coda fuori e sembra che il locale sia pieno ma invece è semplicemente perché c’è il bancone dall’ entrata e tutti sono ammassati come le galline quando gli danno il cibo. Per non parlare dei gusti dei cioccolatini: non sono esposti e bisogna chiedergli ogni volta! un cartellino per indicare il gusto penso sia molto apprezzato dalla clientela. Comunque accoppiata caffè e cioccolatino 2€
