The dishes are exceptionally balanced; the flavors are evident, yet they all harmonize on the plate. My compliments. The service was professional but lacking in empathy. The price was absolutely proportionate to the quality of the food and the location. My compliments, we really enjoyed it.

20/05/2026: I'm not in the habit of writing reviews, especially negative ones, but in this case, it's a must. Among the dishes we ordered, we also ordered beef with marrow. Once it was served, we immediately pointed out that the marrow was impossible to eat because it couldn't be scratched even with a knife. The waiter went to the kitchen to ask and returned, saying, "I don't know what to say; it's never happened." (Perhaps at least suggesting we change dishes would have been appropriate.) Once we paid the bill, we asked for the price charged for the dish in question and were informed that the full price had been added, adding, again by the same waiter, that he wasn't authorized to offer discounts. In the end, €28 for a simple steak. (I wouldn't have complained about the price if I'd been able to eat the whole dish.) The place itself is nice, but the management really leaves a lot to be desired. P.S. I would avoid using damaged and stained wine coolers just because they're logged in to Ca' del Bosco.

07/10/2025: Excellent pastry shop in the heart of Brescia Delicious brioches, very crumbly and beautifully filled Friendly staff. I want to applaud the black-haired, bespectacled waitress who took orders on Saturday, October 4, 2025. She was truly professional and kind. It's hard to find people so good at their jobs these days. Recommended

I write these words with a hint of melancholy, after returning to what for me, since time immemorial, has been not just a restaurant, but a true refuge. I've been coming to Rucola since I was a boy; it saw me become a man, a husband, and a father. It's where I've celebrated the most important milestones in my family, from my children's first communion, with the certainty that we would be welcomed not as customers, but as longtime friends. Yesterday, sadly, I strongly felt the absence of what made this place special: Biagio's warm and ever-present welcome. The memories of Maurizio's Inter Milan that colored the shelves. That historic cuisine, made of unchanging flavors that tasted of home and security. Food is important, but the owners' smile was the secret ingredient that completed every dish. Entering La Rucola meant disconnecting from everything and feeling protected by a management team that put their heart and soul into it. ​I want to send a heartfelt greeting to all the people who have shaped the history of this restaurant and to all the customers who, like me, shared a part of their journey at those tables. A rare gem discovered on our trip from Tuscany to the Alps. 💎🍷We came here following the excellent reviews and fell in love instantly, so much so that we returned a second time that same evening, walking a full 6 kilometers just to relive that atmosphere. It's an incredibly elegant café-bar, tastefully decorated, relaxing, romantic, and incredibly inspiring. They have an incredible and vast selection of fine wines and beers for true gourmets: we tasted several glasses and the quality is excellent. The staff is exquisitely kind and professional. Furthermore, the logistics are very convenient with ample parking options (free and paid, both on the street and in the forecourt). Local Guide's verdict: If you love good wine, refined design, and impeccable service, this place is definitely worth a detour from your itinerary. Five well-deserved stars, it will remain in our hearts! 🌟🥂

22/10/2025: I was in Milan for a lads weekend on the hunt for a place to watch the football. We left our hotel (J24 Hotel Milano) after just a short walk we came across Bar Rebelot so thought we’d duck our heads in and have a beer while we looked at some options. We were greeted by an absolute legend Mario. Who turned out to be the owner and also spoke perfect English. We were welcomed with open arms. The bar is reminiscent of local English pub with a great selection of beers and spirits. There was a big screen to watch the football. During the game we wanted some food and this didn’t disappoint either. After the game there ended up being some live music and the atmosphere was brilliant. If you’re in Milan I’d recommend checking it out

27/06/2026: The atmosphere is very quaint, and the food is excellent, except for the frozen chicken wings. I assume they were reheated, and badly reheated. But the best part is the bill, which the owner made quite a mistake on. Pay attention to the bill when you go there.

05/07/2026: Classic pub menu with burgers, salads, and basic Italian-style first courses. The beer is decent quality, but the only downside is that they advertise a fixed price for lunch on the menu and then don't apply it: a burger and a beer are €29!

09/05/2026: Looked decent, not very authentic but I decided to stop in for a pint. Went and sat at the bar, as there were quite a few seats open. Was told that they were ALL reserved, and couldn’t sit. Never been to an Irish Pub where I had to make a reservation to sip on a few beers. Locals only I guess.
