09/04/2025: We love this place, all the staff and the food. The divine meat, Rubén puts all his passion into it and you can feel it in the flavor and how it melts in your mouth. Pizza, especially gourmet pizza, is something divine. The cuisine, top, accurate and tasty. The waitresses are exceptional and Francesca is very nice. Now they also do lunches for workers, we highly recommend. Welcoming and youthful environment, very honest prices for the quality they give you, if you want to eat well, excellent raw materials, the price is absolutely worth it. It's now our favorite place 😍

26/03/2025: The restaurant owners' treatment was really pleasant and friendly. We had gone there for pizza, then I saw the half-kilo slice and I changed my mind: Fantastic and very tender meat. While I was eating I also saw the pizzas passing by and I said...why not. I took that one too. Really very good. Price a little above average I think but it's worth it...

03/09/2024: Be wary of the fact that it is in a petrol station. Top service, wine, cocktails and even non-alcoholic drinks at the top. the cutting boards they bring you for an aperitif are delicious! congratulations for your care and attention! ps. Prices are a little high but there is a lot of quality in the raw materials (e.g. Campari spritz with rosé or elaborate cocktails with excellent spirits)

28/02/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante domenica a pranzo, il ristorante è molto bello, curato e pulito. Il personale e molto gentile é disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato veramente molto bene, piatti curati e cibo molto fresco ogni piatto e una vera esplosione di sapori in bocca. Ottima esperienza.

22/10/2024: Let me start by saying that I have always frequented this restaurant since 1998 (therefore, I have seen multiple managers pass by). I would also like to point out that I am from Santa Margherita, therefore not a tourist unaware of the prices of Tigullio. At the time they even took me to visit the fishing boat, moored right in front. Honestly speaking, the quality has dropped dramatically, as has the competence and friendliness of the staff. From a restaurant of this kind, I don't expect fast-food style prices: I'm willing to pay whatever they want, but I demand that the service is corresponding. Don't come and tell someone from Santa that that mixed fried food is fresh!!!! You can say this to a Milanese, but not to me. I draw a veil of pity on the so-called "prawns". Lastly, it would be a good idea to hire a serious cleaning company. Unfortunately, as happened with the "Polpo Mario" in Sestri Levante, the new managers believe they can live off the income, thanks to the fame that the restaurant has acquired in the previous decades. It's not like that at all. Big shame. P.S. The owner's sarcasm and arrogance in responding to other negative comments (and it has nothing to do with our Ligurian attitude) speaks volumes about the lack of humility in recognizing one's own flaws.

11/08/2024: Abitando in Svizzera ogni volta che vengo in Liguria, il SanMarco da Max è una tappa fissa. Il posto è incantevole, il proprietario e lo staff sono premurosi, gentili e simpatici. Il cibo è superlativo con pesce fresco e piatti curati. Arrivederci!!!

24/03/2025: Mata Mua, Andora. Ieri dopo una lunga passeggiata e una ramata acqua ... Una focaccia farcita era la conclusione perfetta ! Focaccia artigianale all' olio extravergine di oliva con hamburger spettacolare e una classica pomodoro e pesto ( perfetta !) Consiglio sempre questo locale, storico in via Roma : pulito, ordinato, solo prodotti di qualità. Grande cortesia . Del resto da anni e anni , il proprietario è stimato da tutto il vicinato per la sua serietà . Aperitivi , drink , bibite ... Adatto a tutti, di ogni età. Ambiente serio e ben frequentato. Molto gradevole il dehor.

21/12/2024: I went in for a snack because I was attracted by the tempting desserts in the window, which unfortunately I wasn't able to taste because the staff wasn't informed about the ingredients and I have food allergies. Too bad, not very professional.

08/11/2024: Superb. I've tried a few pasticcerias in Liguria but this is easily the best. We took a large pile of goodies back home with us. It's also very reasonably priced, considering Alassio is not exactly a cheap place. I will be back.

30/03/2025: Ordered two coffees, one with a stain, waited 10 minutes, they arrive at the table and the stain is not stained (in the Sunday chaos that can happen)... I go inside the bar to get the non-stained one stained... The girl takes the cup, and then goes to the window because who knows what outside commotion was happening... She leaves the window and starts staining the coffee... Handing it to me she asks me if the lady next to the table (barrel 2) is with me... And she warns me that she was attacked by a dog (pitbull), I point out to the reader that my wife is in a wheelchair and we always have our chihuahua with her.... I run out, and find my wife in a state of agitation and our little dog drooling on her back... Even now I wonder... First of all what went through the mind of the "kind" lady who had the let's call him dog (pitbull) on a leash... According to the reasons why no one in the bar was attacked minimally concerned about such aggression, especially perpetrated against an extremely disabled customer, and the absolute tranquility in reporting it!!! .....I also understand the various customers and bystanders... obviously.... We are hitting rock bottom.... I have only one certainty that we will never frequent the aforementioned bar or the adjacent park again!!!! Probably with the satisfaction of the owners!!!!

23/12/2024: So apart from the pizza, it's not bad, the rest was rejected, from the beer served in the glass of water only 33cl paid as an average, to the old and unkept environment, not to mention the fairly high bill.

02/11/2024: I went to this pub restaurant with my girlfriend last night. We didn't have a good time. Too long waits. We didn't like dinner. We tried several dishes but no cooking. Good pizza. My girlfriend even got angry with me. Once upon a time we ate better. I am sorry . It also became expensive.

06/04/2025: It has finally reopened, from Lavagnese I always leave the car on the cover of the Gromolo river, and when moving on foot this historic bar is the visiting card of entry to the pedestrian centre. I have been fond of it for many years. Great coffee. Well. Come on and keep going.

05/04/2025: Very welcoming and nice looking place. Excellent product quality and young, friendly staff. I will definitely be back!
