07/05/2026: A simple bar that could be improved. They offer mediocre food and old-fashioned toasted sandwiches or sandwiches. With a location like this, right on the sea, they should be working tirelessly and always busy, but unfortunately, that's not the case. The lady (owner) is always very nice and kind; I come back just for her.

03/05/2026: The sea, the location, and the breakfast were truly delightful, no complaints about that. Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the attitude of the staff at the counter. When we reached the register, we were asked if we preferred to pay in cash or by card. We chose cash, but realized we were only €1 short. We politely apologized and asked if we could pay by card. At that point, the staff responded in an annoyed and unprofessional manner, complaining about having to reissue the receipt and making inappropriate comments about prices and the Revenue Agency. Despite our apologies, the tone remained arrogant and aggressive, decidedly out of place for such a trivial situation and a paltry sum. At one point, I even considered leaving, so unpleasant was their attitude. In the end, the payment was repaid by card, but without even a greeting or the slightest courtesy. A real shame, because a more polite attitude would have been enough to make the experience worthy of the place.

04/05/2026: We're talking about a truly top-notch culinary experience in a splendid and romantic setting, near the sea in Riomaggiore, right in the old town. I'm from La Spezia, and unfortunately I rarely get to the Cinque Terre, but when I do, Dau Cila is a must. Here, the seafood flavors are still authentic, the menu is truly traditional, and the service is quick, impeccable, always ready to satisfy everyone's needs.

16/05/2026: I've tasted most of the Baci di Alassio from various pastry shops. As a sweets lover and former pastry chef, I find them to be the best: just the right amount of softness, not too sweet, and perfectly melt-in-your-mouth. The Baci di Dama are even more incredible. They've become a regular fixture for me, but unfortunately they're closed today, and I realize it's important to provide this feedback. Enjoy your Baci di Dama!

21/10/2025: I don't go often, but every time I go, it's a treat. The brioches are really delicious and filled with a variety of creams, like almond or hazelnut. The place is cute and the staff is very friendly. Absolutely recommended. The cakes are also very good.

14/04/2026: The fried food wasn't anything special. But the gluten-free burger was very good. They have a special gluten-free menu, in addition to regular menu options that can be adapted. Very friendly staff.

19/03/2026: Passing by for work, I happened upon this place for a quick business lunch with a colleague. I didn't particularly enjoy the food: the first course was lasagna with pesto, which was acceptable; the second course was a small fried fish (side dish? Who knows), a glass of wine, and coffee. The price was proportionally high, too high. Today, in a Ligurian town in the west, at a very similar restaurant, we paid half the price for a set menu that was much better in terms of quantity and quality!

28/02/2026: I've always gone there for a piping hot macchiato and been shocked by the lack of things to get for my girlfriend for breakfast, always very little, I'm celiac, there's nothing for me... so... I wouldn't have set foot there again if it weren't for the fact that some people bring me back for a coffee... but I recommend everyone to go to the historic one in front who knows a little more, as for the internal kitchen, I don't know, there's never room, there are always the same people there, as if they had taken over the tables...

27/03/2026: OUTRIGHT CROOKS!! Avoid AT ALL COSTS. At the time of payment, they discreetly overcharge your credit card (€30 => €300). When you request a refund, they promise it, but it never arrives. We've been waiting for two months...

27/08/2025: We only had cocktails and an aperitif. Everything was very good, and the server gave very good advice.

19/08/2025: Nice place in the square in San Terenzo. I know they also do first courses, but since I haven't tried them, I can't comment. We stopped for an aperitif. The wait was normal, the cocktails were good, and the appetizers were also good. Once we had a pina colada, which was very diluted and not at all alcoholic. Another time, a mojito, but with too much ice and not enough to drink, let's say. For a refreshing break, it's fine. If the prices weren't so high, it would be better!

02/10/2025: Stampetta Pasticceria is a historic pastry shop, established in 1962. Yesterday evening, I bought a profiterole from them. The cake weighed less than 1 kg, and the lady at the counter had a clever idea: to cover up the cake's age, she re-covered it with chocolate and yellow cream, increasing the weight to 1.5 kg and attempting to cover up the staleness. The scam cost €45. At home, we had to reveal the whole truth: an old cake, an unscrupulous sales assistant, and a ruined party. This morning, I personally charged the counter clerk with her personal responsibility for lying and abusing the trust she had placed in her. I point out that I was with an elderly woman, and this behavior is as disgusting as the cake being sold. This morning, I noticed the neglected display cases and the dirt that accompanies old, frosted cakes. I advise against visiting, or purchasing anything. Flavio Calì
