09/05/2025: Perfect location, attached to the station; it's worth stopping for a coffee, a brioche, but what I liked most was the pizza, warmed up on the spot. Friendly and welcoming staff, highly recommended

29/04/2025: A really nice cafe! You can sit wonderfully and relax. The coffee is perfect, the croissants and other baked goods are simply a dream - fresh, delicious and made with a lot of love. We haven't tried lunch yet, but we'll definitely do it later. The prices are absolutely fair and the atmosphere and the people are super pleasant. We'll definitely be back!

01/08/2025: What a disappointment! We chose this bar because the reviews said that the appetizers came with a tapas side of pizza and focaccia. Well, no, we only got a tiny bowl of chips. Very, very disappointed; this isn't the Italy we once knew. Avoid this bar; other bars still offer focaccia. Stay away from this bar.

01/06/2025: Considering that we had been told that the ice was finished and not being very used to alcohol, I asked if it was possible to kindly add a little water to my aperitif. The manager heavily inveighed against the waiter saying that then we could make the cocktail ourselves and other absurdities. Even later he severely reprimanded him making sure that we could hear him. A senseless curse. Goodbye

09/08/2025: The wait was a bit long, but we were rewarded with delicious, top-quality food. Excellent beer and wine. Great atmosphere.

05/08/2025: 50 euros for a plate of good meat but "half a kilo" was just the name of the dish... very few potatoes even though they were supposed to be for two... plus I had never seen the staff eat the potatoes from the plate before serving it...

23/08/2025: We only visited this restaurant for lunch on two consecutive days. It's a shame we didn't try it sooner, as we loved it for the location, the quality of the products, and the service. The owners' young son is friendly and very personable, as well as attentive to service. The panoramic terrace offers an excellent sea view.

04/07/2025: La ubicación es inmejorable y si caminas hasta el faro, no hay forma de que no puedas detenerte aquí al menos para tomar una bebida rápida. La comida era mediocre y por eso le doy 4 estrellas en lugar de 5.

19/07/2025: The good thing is the large space. Service is awkward; it takes forever to get a cocktail. "The bartender is serving other tables," you say, then you turn around and see the place half-empty. The cocktails are also good, but the food is absolutely average.

12/04/2025: He estado aquí muchas veces. Al parecer, perdieron a su chef de pizza y el reemplazo no fue tan talentoso como el anterior. La pizza era buena, pero no la primera - tasa pizza a la que me he acostumbrado. Todavía recomiendo, pero ahora con algunas dudas. La consistencia es importante.

06/08/2025: Friendly staff, location was nice, but food vs price was not a great combo. The tourist menu was a bit too much and the fried seafood wasn’t really good (taste wise)… ‘ensalata mixta’ absent. Just some leaves. But if yes that might be it

26/07/2025: Sadly, we were cheated. The menu stated the price for grilled fish was fixed at €60 per kg and they charged us €80. They also claimed they served us a 1.4kg fish, which is excessive for 2 people and seems highly unlikely. When questioned the waiter claimed it was a “special fish”. If so, this should have been disclosed, along with the claimed size in advance.

13/08/2025: I hate to give it one star, even though the ice cream looks great, but I don't think it's normal to use the same spoon to scoop out different flavors, because that way they all get mixed up... My partner doesn't have any allergies, but I do, and I find myself unable to enjoy good ice cream because of this situation...

06/06/2025: Das Tumelin gehört mit dem Gattabriga und dem La Loggia zu den 3 besten Restaurants in Levanto! Der frisch zubereite Doradenfisch ist einfach nur herrlich und vergeht auf der Zunge. Auch die Vor - & Nachspeisen sind einfach nur zauberhaft. Die Weinauswahl ist erstklassig. Der langjährige und megafreundliche Oberkellner ist super professionell und megafreundlich und sucht vergebens seinesgleichen in Levanto. Das Tumelin ladet zum verweilen ein!

26/08/2025: The wait times after ordering were very long, and the dishes were brought to diners at different times, with the food already lukewarm. The organization was poor, and for example, we couldn't order what was missing due to the understaffing. The price was decidedly high compared to the service provided from the entrance to the cashier.

24/08/2025: Very long service times. There were six of us adults and we ordered six first courses, three of which were identical. After a wait of over 40 minutes, the three identical first courses were brought, and it took over another 20 minutes for the rest, resulting in three people eating while the other three... just stood around watching. Furthermore, the three first courses delivered were lukewarm, having been waiting a long time for them to be brought from the kitchen to the table. The food quality was average, and the price was quite out of line with the quality, not only of the food but also of the restaurant, which was unaccompanied by air conditioning and very noisy, partly due to other exuberant diners, a situation in which the management had nothing to do with. The person who, I believe, is the owner, who checked the bill spoke to us in a cold and distant manner, because we pointed out that the service had not lived up to expectations and that the bill was too high for us. Too bad, we thought we'd found a new place in Savona where we could spend some nice evenings with friends.

27/06/2025: For as long as I can remember, the Maracanà bar has served the best coffee in San Bartolomeo al Mare, and there’s no arguing about that.
