10/08/2024: This is one of my favourite restaurants in the world. I have been visiting each summer for years from the UK and we always visit. The food is amazing, such good value for money and super tasty too. The service is like no other restaurant. I see the same friendly welcoming staff each year who couldn’t do anymore than they do. I have been with family and friends when visiting our apartment and everyone loves it. The photos attached are our favourite dishes. I am confused by anyone who would rate this less than 5*.

31/07/2024: This is the worst cafetaria of Italy. 1. They forgot 1 of our meals and we had to wait over more than 40 minutes. 2. They did not apologise. 3. They told each other to not give us information when we asked for a address they thought that we couldn’t understand Italian. Never ever step into this café The worst cafe ever

11/07/2024: An excellent bar for any visitor, young and old, you can always choose ice cream, drinks and fresh hot sandwiches and snacks. Fast and friendly service 👍

13/08/2024: Although it is very well located, the place is very expensive for the quality. The pasta was overcooked and totally tasteless. Disastrous service, the owner fought with other customers who complained about the food. Very unpleasant as a whole. a shame

12/08/2024: We went as a table of 9 to eat. The treatment we received from what we believe was manager Franco was disastrous. He behaved rudely, disrespectfully and cockily. I don't give 0 stars because I can't. Here's your review, after threatening us and telling us that you didn't care what we posted.

14/05/2024: Good manners are not part of their way of being; even though they own a business; also falling into offense, in a very rude and heavy way. Normal consumer products and fluctuating prices, doors wide open in the middle of winter; perhaps a little humility wouldn't hurt. But I strongly recommend that before you let your mouth breathe, count to ten and... keep quiet because people shouldn't be judged if they don't know each other. And above all they are not perfect.. but they are! .

27/07/2024: The place is great. Located in a small picturesque village in a nature reserve. I would like to say that this is incredible luck, luck that seems to be largely underestimated. Unfriendly waitress, ham and cheese pizza without ham... In short! Damage...

11/10/2023: Domenica passata a Monterosso, abitiamo a due passi Versilia) e veniamo quasi ogni anno in questo periodo per passare una giornata in relax e così sismo capitati per caso in questo ristorante perché principalmente aveva dei posti liberi e noi non avevamo prenotato da nessuna parte.(anche perché ogni anno quando andiamo si va alla ricerca di posti nuovi).Ristorante senza lode ne infamia, cibo nella media, i prezzi un po' cari ma come nella media di questo posto .. personale non scortese ma forse stanco della stagione, parecchio frettoloso e approssimativo ( non mi soffermo su due episodi accaduti proprio a noi perché può capitare a tutti ma è il come si rimedia che conta) Darei una stella in meno per la porzione del fritto che al prezzo di 18 euro se non con qualche anello di totano in più almeno con qualche verdura insieme che fa volume e inganna almeno lo stomaco ci voleva ...

26/07/2024: Famous historical pastry shop famous in Alassio since 1902 where the famous baci di Alassio were invented in 1919. The furnishings still recall past years, while the exterior is characterized by illuminated signs, outdoor tables on the square and self-celebratory curtains. I only purchased various formats of Baci di Alassio and the young girl who served me seemed listless and not encouraged to sell. Sin! If I have been useful to you, follow me and leave me a like! 👍🏼☺

18/07/2024: Bought cabaret pastries, they looked good because they were beautiful, but...what a fool they were for a gift and they were bad, they looked old, considering what they cost too! Never again, NEVER AGAIN

08/07/2024: I was there with my family during a weekend at the seaside. And it immediately became our go-to spot for breakfast. Good products and kindness. We have always been greeted with a smile. Of course, we must always remember that kindness and education must come first from the customer, together with respect for those who are working. In return it is nice to receive equal courtesy and kindness. They are welcome to be placed like this. Thank you.

18/08/2024: Mantero is always the TOP but in my opinion the place, even if it is beautiful now, I liked it better the way it was before...now seen from afar it looks like a jewelery shop 🤪

22/05/2024: The new path of pastry making makes us miss the glories of the past. Aesthetically aligned with the contemporary lack of taste that sees square and shiny pastries but with a completely insignificant flavor and consistency. Even traditional sweets have been transformed into a soulless imitation, ghosts of the past. The shiny and inviting icing of the cream puffs has given way to an opaque and depressing button, the same goes for the cannolini, now all the same and opaque too. The sprouts are still saved, but barely. A painful disappointment. Even the restaurant renovated according to the new anonymous taste is a punch in the stomach. An aesthetic disaster for a historic workshop of which nothing was asked other than to continue along the lines of tradition. As for the service, there are already numerous poisonous reviews, I repeat that unfortunately Genoa still has a lot to learn about the concept of courtesy and customer care. I refer you to the attached photo, do you believe that such a writing could be a symptom of care or sloppiness?

28/01/2024: Pranzo in questo locale rustico Optiamo per menu di pesce (il locale e’ anche una pizzeria). Un antipasto in due e due primi. Porzioni abbondanti e sapori autentici 35 euro a testa, acqua e mezzo litro di vino della casa (ottimo) incluso

07/01/2024: We had an amazing lunch, we arrived just before 2pm and they normally close at 2pm but they were happy to let us in. As it is winter we sat inside, lovely atmosphere, cosy and lovely decorated. We ordered a starter and a main, pasta, mussels and pizza. All the dishes were amazing, beautiful presented and tasted great. The people were very friendly and even gave our kids a little present for the tradition La Brefana. We highly recommend this restaurant, it was one of the best ones we ate during our Italy trip.

20/08/2024: Attention!!!!! it's ARNAQEURE, 2 iced coffees and 2 crosses for 24 EUROS. Ask for the price before ordering
