04/04/2025: Outside the restaurant the sign says: bar restaurant il gambero rosso. I felt like a coffee and coincidentally I was in front of the restaurant. My partner points out the word bar so I go in and kindly ask for 2 coffees at the bar counter. Having consumed the 2 coffees standing at the counter for a maximum of 2 minutes when I go to pay the bill is 5 euros. It's not the 5 euros but it's the principle of charging so much for a coffee while standing at the counter I felt like I was cheated. I had half a mind to go there for lunch but they'll never see me. Bad very bad

05/03/2025: An expensive restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food was decent, but the amount of shells in the food made it very difficult to eat. Maybe that's just the way the dishes we ordered are, but it seemed excessive and they could have at least clipped the crab arm so it would be easier to eat. The staff were rude except for one nice lady. Granted, they were very busy, but they didn't need to be rude. We still would have had a nice time, except the staff let in a peddler from the street into the extremely crowded restaurant to sell flowers and trinkets to the diners, which really took away from our meal. I guess it was a show of kindness to the man to let him in so maybe I'm in the wrong here, but he was very persistent even after we said no to buying one of his flowers.

09/03/2025: All in all good croissants, I really liked the cappuccino (even though I had ordered a macchiato, but I was fine with the cappuccino anyway) Overall it's a nice but very very chaotic bar A piece of advice, stop banging saucers and cups all the time, it's annoying and can be heard all the way in the bar. My ears thank you

10/03/2025: I had lunch on the terrace, what can I say with a wonderful view of the sea, the place would need a bit of maintenance, but the view is wonderful! I had an appetizer, fried food and dessert, all very good and at the right price! I will definitely be back 😊

25/11/2024: Visited back in July and what a fantastic experience. Got lucky enough to have the best balcony seats upstairs right before sunset.

14/10/2024: Shocking rudeness! I was thrown out of the room just because I was waiting for my minor daughter outside the bathroom... maybe they are afraid that the toilet paper will be stolen! I pointed out the rudeness but no one apologized! It's a shame because the location is really beautiful

25/03/2025: Un dispiacere. Seduti sui divanetti all’esterno, ci raggiunge una ragazza alla quale chiediamo un menu. Ci viene riposto che il menù è vecchio e i prezzi potrebbero essere aumentati. Chiediamo quindi, se hanno dei vini per aperitivo e la stessa ci chiede cosa vogliamo. Alla richiesta di un vermentino, guarda per aria spaesata e sparisce. Torna con 3 bicchieri anonimi e una ciotola di patatine. Chiediamo se possiamo avere un aperitivo completo e ci risponde che stanno preparando. Torna dopo un po’ con un qualcosa di simile a prosciutto cotto e formaggio con muffa sulla crosta. Ma veramente? Questo è diventato il bar Roma sul muretto di Alassio? Un po’ di amarezza

22/02/2025: Este icónico e histórico café fue una vez el lugar en Alassio. En los últimos años se ha ido a la deriva con un servicio inconsistente, productos promedio y una clara falta de cuidado. Hace unos días vimos a nuestro camarero favorito de varias décadas en el Hotel Lamberti. Ahora está en el Café y nos invitó a ver su nuevo menú. Volvimos para almorzar hoy en el agradable comedor de arriba. Tienen un nuevo chef y él sabe lo que está haciendo! El menú es elegante, si no bastante gourmet. Todo fue presentado atractivamente, sabroso y profesionalmente servido. La carta de vinos es un poco corta pero bien hecha. El entorno, con vistas al Muretto iniciado por el propietario original hace unos 80 años es encantador. El café está de vuelta y listo para recuperar el lugar que le corresponde. Hay al menos otros dos camareros que conocemos y apreciamos por su largo servicio en otros dos lugares apreciados. Bienvenido de nuevo, Café Roma, en nuestra lista totalmente aprobada.

14/04/2025: Excelente café y cappucino. Lugar acogedor y no demasiado caro en comparación con otros lugares similares en esta ciudad. Muy buen tiramisú.

31/10/2024: Un lugar bastante bueno para comer algo rápido cuando visite esta bonita ciudad. Tuve un buen salami pizza tenía una pasta y ensalada. Toda la comida estaba bien y a un precio razonable, pero llegar temprano si quieres que todas las opciones de menú estén disponibles.

08/04/2025: I think this was the best food we’ve had on the trip! Waiter was so funny and personable, and his suggestions were fantastic. Super cautious for allergens too, we felt very safe. And the view was unbeatable!

Thier special white fish pasta is out of the world and amalgamation of food coma with some breath taking views of the Cinque Terre, this place is highly suggested by me for lunch and for a beautiful sunset. Remember to book your table well in advance as it is highly in demand.

Time has proven you right and you are still open! Maybe I brought you luck or maybe you are actually a valid place and I am sure that you have improved the service. Certainly the famous Follador prosecco that can be found online at retail at €15 a bottle will no longer be €38 😉 and then the welcome! quality of service! Oh no, I woke up and I'm in Albisola among the plastic tables. Update for passionate readers: note the friendliness of the owners in the response and then go and see the reviews on TripAdvisor. 09/04/2025: Disappointed with the quality I ordered a €140 cake at your pastry shop (San Romolo) and I was very disappointed. Aesthetically poor and with an unpleasant taste, the cake was dry and the cream had a strange aftertaste. I don't recommend this pastry shop: for the same price, there are many better alternatives.

04/01/2025: Personale gentile e servizio veloce, ma il cibo deludente. Abbiamo scelto uno dei piatti del giorno: tagliolini al ragù di polipo, la porzione abbondante, ma il ragù era una poltiglia dal gusto di tonno in scatola con panna e pomodorini. Altro aspetto negativo 3,50€ di coperto. Forse abbiamo sbagliato la scelta del piatto.

08/11/2024: Scrivo questa recensione pentendomi di non aver detto queste cose direttamente alla titolare dopo quella deludente cena..sono stato da Tumelin con altre due persone (che condividono il mio pensiero)su suggerimento di conoscenti.. l'antipasto a 28€ è sconcertante..si abbondante..ma abbondante di pietanze scadenti,fredde,mal cucinate,dozzinali..il dolce una torta di mele con il gelato buona come si può fare a casa..in pratica 2 antipasti in 3,3 dolci una bottiglia di vino e una d'acqua,3 caffè..41€a testa...giudicate voi..meno male ci siamo fermati all'antipasto😅

23/02/2025: Good variety of pastries and good quality. It is possible to sit inside to also drink a hot of cold beverage. I gave them 2 stars due to non hygenic condition of the toilet. It has not cleaned since long, full of dust and dead animal. In my opinion, for a public place where people can buy food it is not acceptable.
