06/10/2025: Last night, my partner and I, while visiting Imperia, dined at this restaurant, which undoubtedly deserves recognition for its willingness to offer vegan options.
We had seitan escalopes with mushrooms, the seitan having a very soft texture and the mushrooms being passable but a bit watered down, and a black cherry-flavored gelatine, which I assume is a packaged version from a well-known brand we vegans know well.
Overall, the dinner was passable, but what I find less than acceptable is the lack of transparency in the prices of the vegan dishes offered. Customers aren't supposed to ask for the price of each dish, and there's no justification for this omission.

11/09/2025: My husband and I had lunch at this takeout deli last weekend: they offer traditional ready-made dishes and focaccia, and everything looks good.
We tried the farinata, the focaccia with cherry tomatoes, the one with onion, and the one with cheese.
We liked everything; we stopped at the tables in front, and the woman at the counter kindly served us the focaccia after reheating them.
The prices are reasonable.
I would go back and recommend it.

2 antipasti 2 secondi vino pigato (hanno portato secchiello con ghiaccio), piatti molto belli alla vista e ottimo pesce. Prezzo giusto per il contesto (100 euro)

26/10/2025: We arrive, beer finished. We order pizza at 9:30-9:40 PM. At 11 PM, after the tables arriving after us had also received theirs, we're told there are only four pizzas left (of the seven ordered) and that we should have ordered meat. At the register, there's no discount and a few additions to the order for items that didn't arrive. After we pointed out the inconvenience, they managed to shave €5 each off the bill. No one came in with high expectations, just to be able to eat a pizza after having booked. We can say, however, that the slice we did eat tasted okay.
14/10/2025: Truly good pizza, with several unique flavors that pair beautifully.
But the ribs are irresistible. I recommend trying them because they're the best I've ever eaten in my life. Super soft and flavorful, they're exquisite.
The hazelnut tiramisu is also very good.
Kudos to the guys who are always quick.
We've been going there every summer for two years and will continue to go back. They're very good.

12/11/2025: If you're looking for the Sardenaria of the past, I'm sorry...but for me it has nothing to do with it anymore, for me it's become an aperitif bar with small pizzas like those at the pizza al taglio in the shopping center....very little remains of the Madamadoré of the past.

15/10/2025: The atmosphere was welcoming and looked promising, with a wide selection of wines on display.
Unfortunately, there was only one red wine available, leaving no other options.
The platter was delicious, with various types of pinsa.
The bill was €18, a bit pricey considering the lack of choice.
01/09/2025: We had two Campari spritzes accompanied by a bowl of crisps. They asked us if we wanted an aperitif, but we declined because we were about to go to lunch. When it came time to pay for the surprise, 18 euros, which was absolutely too expensive!

The ice cream is wonderfully flavorful – creamy, rich in taste, and perfectly balanced. The take-away tiramisu deserves special mention: incredibly fresh, delicately composed, and high quality. A genuine recommendation for anyone who values quality and indulgence! The service is also very attentive. Dogs are warmly welcome.
Unfortunately, I only have a photo of the homemade baby Magnum – Already eaten the rest.

05/11/2025: My husband and I ate here on our first night in Monterosso on October 27, 2025 and we both agreed that it was the best food we have ever had. We ordered the baked sea bass and it was beyond amazing. It was simple as far as preparation, but the flavors were complex and the fish cooked to perfection. The young man who deboned our fish at table side was so very sweet and quite good at his task. If we ever are lucky enough to return to Italy, Ristorante Ciak will be on our must visit list.
31/10/2025: We stayed in Monterosso twice over the past few years and ate at Ciak every night.
The food, service and atmosphere is amazing.
