As a native of La Spezia, returning to enjoy focaccia, krapfen, and croissants is a must. The girls at Stampetta are as friendly and kind as the focaccia and all their products are absolutely amazing. For me, it's a must.

It was the third focaccia I tasted after the first two, which weren't anything special. My comments were: "exceptional, soft, greasy, crunchy, with evenly distributed holes, excellent dipped in cappuccino, super friendly service." When I returned at the end of the tour, my perception had changed. It was good, but not exceptional. In fact, over the course of the tour, our perceptions changed (especially as we tasted some exceptional ones). In particular, I found the leavening to be slightly less successful. Rating 7.5⭐⭐⭐
