What a wonderful discovery! Pleasantly surprised and expertly pampered during these hectic, almost overwhelming days. A delicious menu with Easter eggs "Easter Eve." We tried everything from tuna to rabbit, spaghetti with artichokes and bottarga, superb Fassona beef tartare...and what delicious crostoni... yum! I'm sure we'll be back and I recommend it to you too. Applause.

I chose this restaurant while staying a night in Acquapendente because it was close to my apartment and had good reviews, which I can confirm. The service was fast, courteous, and attentive. The wines offered were good, and the dishes were well-presented and made with quality ingredients. Perhaps less delicious were the crostini with ciauscolo (or spreadable salami) and the chicken liver pâté, which was too dry and flavorless. The cured meats and cheeses on the platter were all good. I then ordered a tartare with raw artichokes and parmesan, and my husband the pork loin. We finished with cantucci (a little too toasty) and vin santo. I found the bill a bit high (€55 per person), but overall, it was consistent with the price and the location. It's a general problem of rising costs throughout the entire supply chain that makes dining out increasingly difficult for the average family, certainly not the fault of the individual restaurateur. This is why I didn't want to remove any stars: the menu is also displayed outside and on the website. It's my choice to eat in one place or another, and this shouldn't affect people's work, but I think it's fair to write it.

A small but well-kept restaurant with a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, both the wine and the food are excellent (pictured are spaghetti with butter, anchovies, fennel, and lemon, and a cheese platter accompanied by honey).
