21/09/2025: The best coffee in town!!! I specifically crossed the entire city to drink coffee here. The service was very friendly. The sandwiches and croissants look amazing and taste delicious. I highly recommend it. I could eat breakfasts like this there every day.
18/09/2025: Pastries are dry and taste nothing like what they are claiming to be. Additionally, dirty tables.

17/08/2025: Thanks so much to Georgio for a wonderful night! By far the best atmosphere we found in a bar in Trieste during our short stay. Georgio was kind and great craic and then he found out we were Irish he played us some Rory Gallagher. It's cash only, not a cocktail vibe but beers and spirits aplenty with good rock and soul music played from CDs. A few sore heads the next day but the memories remain ! X

28/08/2025: Midweek dinner with friends, wait time for sandwiches was about an hour and a half.
Mediocre sandwiches that definitely weren't worth the wait.
Rubbery fries that arrived an hour before the sandwiches.
I'd say it's not a place worth going to.
23/08/2025: Waited over an hour and a half for two sandwiches. They were good, but I recommend takeout because I could see them coming out like there was no tomorrow.
The fries were too small, but that's my personal opinion.
The beer was good.
It's a shame about the wait, even though we were told 40-45 minutes...

Personale giovane, simpatico e molto preparato.
Ci hanno coccolato e hanno reso il nostro pitstop un momento davvero speciale e divertente.
Un saluto speciale a Giulia, una deliziosa ragazza dagli occhi dello stesso colore del mare di Trieste preparata, dinamica e molto attenta .

02/09/2025: I don't know if they've changed the pastry chef, but the desserts aren't what they used to be. Flavorless pastries. The only exception is the Sicilian cannoli.

Great service from one individual who seemed knowledgable on the wine list.( server was lacking in attitude and general friendliness, would have been a perfect 5 without her off behavior) but the good made up for it. The wine and drinks selected were great
10/09/2025: The bar.
A tragicomic experience began with a 10-minute wait at the entrance to be greeted by the waiter (only two other tables occupied, ed.). The staff was either completely incompetent or perhaps hired that same day. Finally, two drinks arrived, completely distorted but loaded with ice: the Moscow Mule without ginger beer and the barely perceptible vodka, but the shaken Campari was truly SHAMEFUL; the photo says it all.
Clearly, the prices were high, but obviously completely disappointed!

02/10/2025: Visited for lunch, a very nice place. The service is exceptional, impeccably precise; they change your cutlery with white gloves. The food is very good and the desserts are homemade. They do charge a little, but that's okay. Worth a try and return.
27/09/2025: Decent little restaurant with good food for moderately high prices.
We sat outside with a nice view of the sea. The service was okay and the tables tidy, chairs were comfortable.
The wine was good but the food wasn’t the best for the price you pay. Still we had a decent time and might be back here again.

27/05/2025: I just took 3 fried meatballs and 3 breaded eggplants for takeout...
The meatballs: the first one had pieces of hard plastic inside one of the pieces of dark meat and the other one was thrown away...
The eggplants: the first one completely without salt the second one tasted rotten I think and the third one together with the second one I threw away.
Let's hope we don't get sick.
I think places like this should close.
Obviously one star because zero is not possible.

05/09/2025: I always stop by when I pass through Trieste. I think croissants this good are hard to find, not to mention strudel...and so on.
There's a pastry shop from the same chain in the city center, too. It's an experience worth trying. I don't rate the ambiance highly because it's not very big on Via Baiamonti.
