19/11/2025: We went there in the morning, around 8:30, for breakfast, two parents and two children. The food was fantastic, with traditional local desserts also available, a wide selection, and very friendly staff. You order at the counter inside, and then, during the busiest hours, they give you a tray and you can sit at one of the many tables outside. Since it was a beautiful day, we did so. If it's raining, there's some room inside, but you'll have to wait if it's crowded. Otherwise, you can take away.

11/11/2025: This morning we decided to have breakfast here, varying between sweet and savory. We ordered three sandwiches, two with tuna and one with ham. We had to exchange the ham one because the sliced ​​meat inside was gray. One of the tuna sandwiches was acceptable, but the second was unsightly and even inedible: wet bread and stale tuna. Overall, to console ourselves for the unpleasant savory breakfast, I bit into the pistachio croissant, only to notice a hair on the croissant. I can fully understand the sandwiches from the night before, but this shows complete disregard for the food on display and how it's selected and handled.

03/10/2025: Typical cozy neighbourhood café with beautiful coffee and croissants. A no brainer if you’re waiting for a bus or train as it’s very near the autostazione. Grazie mille!

21/08/2025: Giorgio's home! The most rock 'n' roll bar in Trieste!

17/08/2025: Thanks so much to Georgio for a wonderful night! By far the best atmosphere we found in a bar in Trieste during our short stay. Georgio was kind and great craic and then he found out we were Irish he played us some Rory Gallagher. It's cash only, not a cocktail vibe but beers and spirits aplenty with good rock and soul music played from CDs. A few sore heads the next day but the memories remain ! X

10/10/2025: As a Neapolitan and pizza lover, I can say that the food here is truly delicious. The pizza by the slice is also worth it. I recommend it...5 stars!!!

01/10/2025: I ordered a ham and mushrooms on Deliveroo. Really bad. The ham was spoiled; the color and smell speak for themselves. The mushrooms were old. I had to throw it away and order something else. Terrible. The photo of the ham speaks for itself, and no, it wasn't added during cooking. You can see the difference in color.

02/11/2025: The best sandwich shop in Trieste. Huge, well-filled sandwiches, with super-fair prices. Patrizia makes you feel right at home.

05/11/2025: Small truck parking lot, at 5 pm there are no more places, toilets... acceptable, there is also a shower and a washing machine and dryer

31/10/2025: If you manage to stay at 45, there's a good hot shower, a decent toilet, and a 20-minute walk to the sea. There's a room with a washing machine (10 euros) and coffee makers for 1 euro. My colleagues might be unlucky, but they always gave me the keys to the shower in exchange for an ID card.

17/10/2025: I recently went for brunch. I waited over 20 minutes at the counter while the clerks chatted calmly, oblivious to my presence. The products served were of decent quality, but I noticed that the pricing varies depending on the customer. A small group of people, obviously well-known, got special, cheap coffee. I will never go back. The clerks were harsh and unfriendly.

05/10/2025: Brioche con crema è buonissima!! I bought one first and ate at the bar, then I loved it too much. So I bought another for take away! They also have good breads! If you live in this neighborhood, don’t miss out!

31/10/2025: I have to be honest, this is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to, and I’m not exaggerating. The entire experience from start to finish was a huge disappointment. I ordered food and a coffee, but they refused to take payment for the food before it could even start being prepared. I stood there waiting while the line kept growing, and when we asked them to come and take payment so they could start preparing the order, the staff member yelled that they were “busy and had work to do.” Incredible rudeness towards customers who just want to pay and get what they ordered. The whole system is completely illogical — coffee is made on one side, and you wait for food on the other, so you have no idea where to stand or who to talk to. The lines are huge, nobody explains anything, and the whole place feels like total chaos. The order monitors are another disaster — no table numbers, no waiters, and while you wait, you don’t even know where you can sit. When you try to ask something, the staff just respond with “wait for your number,” without actually listening to what you’re asking. Everything is disorganized, stressful, and there’s not a hint of basic courtesy toward customers. I don’t eat pork and specifically asked for three fries without bacon, yet all of them had bacon. When I tried to explain the mistake, they acted as if it was my problem and didn’t care at all. The food was cold, poorly prepared, and tasteless, but what really ruined the experience was the staff’s behavior. I would especially point out the thin girl with brown hair, who was extremely rude and impatient — you could literally feel how much she resented interacting with customers. All in all, a terrible experience, and I will definitely not be coming back to this McDonald’s. If you’re a tourist thinking of grabbing a quick bite, skip this location. There are plenty of places in Trieste where you’ll be treated like a guest, not a nuisance🚩🚩

12/11/2025: This pizzeria is truly a little slice of tradition, with an atmosphere reminiscent of places of yesteryear. The pizzas are excellent, the dough is perfectly balanced, neither too thick nor too thin, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The decor maintains a classic, welcoming style, making the place feel homey and pleasant. The service is impeccable, friendly, and attentive. An ideal place to enjoy authentic pizza in a simple yet elegant setting.

13/10/2025: Embarrassing! We ordered three juices, three toasts, two coffees, and a barley coffee... we waited 25 minutes before the juices were served in a mineral water glass with two ice cubes. The toast arrived after another 5 minutes. Specifically, it was a very large sandwich (which makes no sense at 10 AM), not a toasted sandwich (unspecified by the service staff) made with three slices of frozen toast bread, generously stuffed with ham and cheese like at Autogrill. Then came the coffees... Mine was cold and had an "eye" that clearly indicated how long it had been sitting at the counter before arriving at the table. Bill €70. Aside from the view of Piazza dell'Unità, I'd say it was an experience to forget.

27/05/2025: I just took 3 fried meatballs and 3 breaded eggplants for takeout... The meatballs: the first one had pieces of hard plastic inside one of the pieces of dark meat and the other one was thrown away... The eggplants: the first one completely without salt the second one tasted rotten I think and the third one together with the second one I threw away. Let's hope we don't get sick. I think places like this should close. Obviously one star because zero is not possible.
