06/04/2026: We booked a table for Easter Monday. We ate a charcuterie board, two first courses, and half a liter of wine, for a total of €62, far too much for my taste. Leaving aside the price, which might have seemed reasonable, the service wasn't the best. We arrived and sat at the table, but they didn't even bring water, and we waited over 20 minutes to order. The menu included a "generous" portion of piadina, but we received strips that together didn't even make a quarter of a piadina. Finally, for the first course, I asked for cheese, but it never arrived. Otherwise, the atmosphere was welcoming.

21/02/2026: Fabulous! We had dinner at Sabino's the night before Valentine's Day because we love the quiet. It was an unforgettable dinner. I also ate raw fish, having always been reticent about it. The flavors, the combinations, the presentation of the dishes, the details of the place, and above all, Sabino's hospitality and professionalism make this restaurant unique. You feel pampered from start to finish, with great warmth and friendliness. We are so happy with this discovery. We will be back with great pleasure 😊

06/04/2026: Wandering on Easter Monday between Monzuno and Loiano, we found ourselves in Monghidoro... lunchtime now... what to do... we ended up at the Trattoria da Carlet, certainly without a reservation. It was immediately a no even though there were only 2 of us. Then they asked us if it was okay to wait until 1:15 pm (it was 12:40). A table for 2 would be available, so we accepted... we had a great time, excellent food and plenty of it, courtesy and kindness of all the staff. We didn't manage to try the desserts because they were too full... What can I say? Thanks, and we hope to return soon, perhaps by booking in advance!

04/04/2026: "Penny wise and pound foolish"—so focused on controlling every tiny detail that they completely miss the fact that they're ruining the very thing they're trying to manage. When an owner is that micromanaging, they usually create a "killer vibe" that no amount of nice decor can fix. It's a shame for those young waiters, too; they're likely doing their best while under a microscope. It's the classic case of an owner who's lost in a glass of water: so focused on controlling every tiny detail that they don't realize they're ruining the very business they're trying to manage. When an owner is that control freak, they create a heavy atmosphere that no decor, no matter how beautiful, can lift. It's also a real shame for those young waiters; they're probably doing their best while constantly feeling under the microscope. Tasteless food Tough meat Sweet, good luck to the girl who recommended us.

16/03/2026: I celebrated my birthday here with a large group of friends, and I really want to say a special thank you to Susanna. She was incredibly kind, patient, and always smiling, even during the most chaotic moments. It's not easy managing so many people at once, but she did it with a kindness and professionalism that truly impressed us. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for making the evening even more enjoyable. People like that really make a difference!

27/02/2026: Altotasso is the kind of place you go for a drink and end up staying all night. A super chill atmosphere, top wines (a carefully selected and never boring selection), and excellent charcuterie boards. But its real strength is the energy: the right people, consistently lively evenings, music, and events that make the place special. It's not just a wine bar, it's a vibe. If you're in Bologna, it's a must-see.

01/03/2026: We visited only for aperitivo; they have a good selection of spirits, something some might overlook but is actually very important. We had six different cocktails, three each, and all were well-executed. Just the right amount of ice (which blocks the drink and keeps it cold), very balanced (the recipes are therefore adhered to), and not overdiluted. The appetizers aren't limited to chips and peanuts, but a nice platter with a little bit of everything, all of good quality. The total cost was absolutely in line with what we were served.

13/04/2026: A great place for our large group of friends in Bologna to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. We wanted something easy so we wouldn't spend too much time at the table, but still tasty, and we were satisfied! The service was quick, unexpectedly so given the number of diners, so much so that the appetizers arrived almost immediately after we ordered. They were delicious, too: the tigelle and crescentine, the various cured meats, and the fried tortellini... but what really thrilled me was the cheese plate with its toppings, absolutely amazing. We also enjoyed the various tagliatelle, lasagna, tortellini in broth, and cotolette alla Bolognese... all washed down with a nice Lambrusco! The desserts were also good, and the price was reasonable for what we ate and drank. Perhaps the worst part was that we celebrated a bit noisily, and I apologize to the staff, who were otherwise very kind. One last note: The restaurant, along with many others, is located inside the Mercato delle Erbe, right in the city center. It's very convenient and has an informal and original atmosphere. What can I say... a perfect choice!

13/04/2026: Crescentine far exceeded my expectations; ordering the cheese and mixed cheese platter, I was able to see some dishes and combinations of ingredients that strike the perfect balance between tradition and experimentation in Bolognese cuisine. A note of praise is that due to internal misunderstandings, I had asked to cancel a dish; they gave it to me anyway, but they offered it to me instead, a gentlemanly gesture that's hard to find these days. (…Plus, I'd forgotten a personal item, and the staff was incredibly kind.)

07/04/2026: Just happened to pass by while looking for a place to have dinner, and I’m really glad I found this spot. We were promptly attended to and shown to an available table. The menu is clear, and you can even see how the dishes look online. The quality-to-price ratio is very reasonable. A great place to enjoy cappelletti.

Even if the people who come in and sit down aren't dressed in suits, that doesn't mean they can't afford to dine in the restaurant she manages. It would be great if she paid more attention to the dirty dishes on the table. Aside from her, the rest of the staff is friendly and professional.

20/02/2026: Outrageous! A half-hour wait to get two bomboloni!! They favor delivery orders... And then they raised the prices, which were already sky-high: now the cream bombolone costs €2.50, the mascarpone one a whopping €3: madness!

03/04/2026: Everything was excellent, the service was impeccable, the staff were courteous and kind, and the dishes were all delicious.

03/04/2026: The pizza dough was tasteless and had very little cheese on it. The bread that came with the Caprise salad was dry and unappetizing.
