22/02/2026: We found it by chance during a motorcycle ride; they found us two seats even though it was fully booked.
The staff were extremely kind, helpful, friendly, and quick with service.
The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, well-decorated, and not too noisy.
The dishes are beautifully presented, and the quality of the meat is excellent. We ordered two slices of salt-baked beef fillet, and it was a wonderful discovery. The meat was exquisite, flavorful, and beautifully presented in a pan.
The desserts were also excellent.
Worth remembering as one of my favorite restaurants.
19/02/2026: A historic trattoria in Monghidoro. I recently went there for the first time with a friend for dinner. Very centrally located, small and welcoming, with a rustic, spartan atmosphere. The owner seems gruff at first glance, but he's kind and welcoming, and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. The fillet steak with mustard and brandy was excellent. Generous portions, everything was delicious. I expected the prices to be a little lower, but now they're in line with Bologna trattorias. Definitely worth a try, highly recommended!

21/02/2026: Fabulous! We had dinner at Sabino's the night before Valentine's Day because we love the quiet. It was an unforgettable dinner. I also ate raw fish, having always been reticent about it.
The flavors, the combinations, the presentation of the dishes, the details of the place, and above all, Sabino's hospitality and professionalism make this restaurant unique.
You feel pampered from start to finish, with great warmth and friendliness.
We are so happy with this discovery. We will be back with great pleasure π

01/03/2026: We visited only for aperitivo; they have a good selection of spirits, something some might overlook but is actually very important. We had six different cocktails, three each, and all were well-executed. Just the right amount of ice (which blocks the drink and keeps it cold), very balanced (the recipes are therefore adhered to), and not overdiluted. The appetizers aren't limited to chips and peanuts, but a nice platter with a little bit of everything, all of good quality. The total cost was absolutely in line with what we were served.

26/02/2026: I think this is a good place to eat, but like many businesses in dense tourist areas especially ones that serve food it suffers from a bit of tourist fatigue. Something that is unavoidable but something all customers should be aware so they can be patient with the friendly staff.

She was incredibly kind, patient, and always smiling, even during the most chaotic moments. It's not easy managing so many people at once, but she did it with a kindness and professionalism that truly impressed us. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for making the evening even more enjoyable. People like that really make a difference!
27/02/2026: Altotasso is the kind of place you go for a drink and end up staying all night.
A super chill atmosphere, top wines (a carefully selected and never boring selection), and excellent charcuterie boards. But its real strength is the energy: the right people, consistently lively evenings, music, and events that make the place special.
It's not just a wine bar, it's a vibe. If you're in Bologna, it's a must-see.

03/02/2026: A unique experience: I dined at this restaurant with a gluten-free menu and I must say I was pleasantly surprised!
Appetizer with cured meats and gluten-free gnocco fritto, then gorgonzola-filled tortelloni with caramelized pears, strictly homemade and also gluten-free... divine!
I finished with a delicious pistachio parfait.
All accompanied by water and a half bottle of Pignoletto.
A wonderful surprise also came when it came to the bill: no extra charge for the gluten-free menu!
Compliments to the service (the waitress and waiter were very friendly) and to the chef β€οΈ
For us celiacs, Italy would be a wonderful place if there were many more restaurants like La Capriata.
