16/04/2025: I had been there years ago but only to drink. I went back with my wife to have something to eat before making the 2 hour drive. We took a pizza sandwich and a hamburger...we were both disappointed. The sandwich is one of those that cost a few cents, the pizza bread is cold and not freshly made. Friendly, polite and fast staff. Once at the checkout, I didn't appreciate the request to split the bill in two. However, the cost is high for the quality of the food offered. I will definitely be back to try something else from their beautiful menu. Maybe we got "bad" out of pure bad luck.

30/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Hostaria dei 4 Gatti in Borgo Panigale and I must say I was really satisfied! The food was exquisite, with dishes that reflected tradition but with a touch of exceptional quality. Each course was prepared with attention to detail and you could feel the freshness of the ingredients. The service was also impeccable: attentive, friendly and professional, without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for a dinner with friends or family. I highly recommend Hostaria dei 4 Gatti to anyone looking for a place to eat well and spend a pleasant evening. I will definitely be back!

12/04/2025: Found this place because I stayed at the hotel close by. So welcoming and cozy! They have a great selection of wine, also organic wine. Just a really chill place! Will definitely come here again when I am in Bologna! Thanks to Davide for the hospitality!

07/07/2025: I came here for a simple refreshing cold beer, one night cap without all the fancy hoo ha n it fitted the bill. Have done 15,000 steps 10.5km so u could say I earned it. Especially being my 74th too. This is a local. Nothing worth coming here for unless u are staying in the neighbourhood.

15/05/2025: This cappuccino shop is located right below an Airbnb I stayed in and I stopped by for a quick pick-me-up. Surprisingly, the cappuccinos here were double the price compared to other places outside the Galleria Cavour. Despite the higher cost, the cappuccinos were delicious, and the staff was friendly. However, it was the most I spent on a cappuccino during my entire stay in Italy. They also didn’t put a decorative top on your cappuccino if that’s important to you, mine was completely white.

12/04/2025: My friend and I visited here a couple of times and had a great experience each time. We enjoyed multiple cappuccinos, some snacks, and took the time to relax before our flight back to England. The staff were incredibly kind and even provided me with a power bank when my phone battery was low — a lifesaver, as I needed it to access my boarding pass. The atmosphere was lovely, especially sitting outside. I felt completely safe and was able to unwind for a couple of hours before heading to the airport. Thank you for the warm hospitality! 03/04/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but the real highlights were Maria Rita and Claudio, whose friendliness and hospitality perfectly embodied Italian warmth. The drinks and food were absolutely delightful, and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. If you’re ever in the area, this is a spot you simply must visit! Abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso ed è stata una meravigliosa sorpresa. L’atmosfera era calda e accogliente, ma i veri protagonisti sono stati Maria Rita e Claudio, la cui gentilezza e ospitalità rappresentano alla perfezione il calore italiano. Le bevande e il cibo erano assolutamente deliziosi, e li abbiamo gustati con grande piacere. Se vi trovate in zona, questo è un posto che dovete assolutamente visitare!

31/03/2025: Wandering around Bologna we stopped in this beautiful place for breakfast, tasted the lemon cream cake, pears and a tart they were really delicious, I fully recommend it

30/07/2025: I ordered scallops with mushrooms. The dish was large, with two pieces, but they were poorly cut. Some parts were raw, and the meat was tough. The price was high, not comparable to the amount of food we ate.

23/07/2025: We didn't have a good experience. The child's car seat was dirty. We ordered two pizzas, one dish was wrong. We ordered still water, but we were served sparkling water. One pizza had to be shared between two people. We had to ask for an empty plate because she didn't think of it herself. The place was half empty; she had no reason to make so many mistakes. She didn't even apologize. There was no professionalism, no communication with the customer. Welcome: I didn't like it.

20/07/2025: We had fried calamari and shrimp, which was amazing—hot, fresh, and tasty. Then a mixed grill of fish, with a generous amount of fresh sea bass. We ate for two and were full. This restaurant is truly worth it. The fish is prepared "as it once was," like in seafood restaurants, without the seasoning that covers the flavor. A slice of seafood in the city. Very good!

25/06/2025: We had dinner here by chance, and we were all pleasantly surprised by the goodness and quality of the fish dishes we had. Excellent wine list. Recommended

18/06/2025: Delicious coffee and excellent cornetto al pistachio. All the pastries looked scrumptious. We will be back to taste more tomorrow.

18/06/2025: ❌️⚠️🚫 Extremely unpleasant experience. The owner was rude and made me leave simply because I ordered one coffee while waiting for others to join me. He didn’t give me a chance to explain that we were planning to order more. It felt like he had no patience and no respect for tourists, even though his business relies on them. Very disappointing attitude — I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values basic hospitality.
