30/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Hostaria dei 4 Gatti in Borgo Panigale and I must say I was really satisfied! The food was exquisite, with dishes that reflected tradition but with a touch of exceptional quality. Each course was prepared with attention to detail and you could feel the freshness of the ingredients. The service was also impeccable: attentive, friendly and professional, without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for a dinner with friends or family. I highly recommend Hostaria dei 4 Gatti to anyone looking for a place to eat well and spend a pleasant evening. I will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but the real highlights were Maria Rita and Claudio, whose friendliness and hospitality perfectly embodied Italian warmth. The drinks and food were absolutely delightful, and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. If you’re ever in the area, this is a spot you simply must visit! Abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso ed è stata una meravigliosa sorpresa. L’atmosfera era calda e accogliente, ma i veri protagonisti sono stati Maria Rita e Claudio, la cui gentilezza e ospitalità rappresentano alla perfezione il calore italiano. Le bevande e il cibo erano assolutamente deliziosi, e li abbiamo gustati con grande piacere. Se vi trovate in zona, questo è un posto che dovete assolutamente visitare!

07/07/2025: I came here for a simple refreshing cold beer, one night cap without all the fancy hoo ha n it fitted the bill. Have done 15,000 steps 10.5km so u could say I earned it. Especially being my 74th too. This is a local. Nothing worth coming here for unless u are staying in the neighbourhood.

20/07/2025: We had fried calamari and shrimp, which was amazing—hot, fresh, and tasty. Then a mixed grill of fish, with a generous amount of fresh sea bass. We ate for two and were full. This restaurant is truly worth it. The fish is prepared "as it once was," like in seafood restaurants, without the seasoning that covers the flavor. A slice of seafood in the city. Very good!

27/08/2025: The staff were very friendly and the lady behind the counter truly made my day by serving me a delicious espresso with a big smile before I headed to San Luca early in the morning. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed being there with the locals. Thanks again for the wonderful start to my day!

02/05/2025: 02/05/25 This morning I passed by this bar by chance and decided to take advantage of it to have breakfast as I also needed the bathroom. Really excellent pasta and coffee (donut filled with delicious cream for €1.80). After paying I asked for the bathroom but I was told that they don't have one, which seems very strange to me given that I understand that it is mandatory by law for public establishments. Considering that this is also evident from other reviews, I wonder if this service is reserved only for regular customers and not for occasional ones...

08/09/2025: Very good and fresh pastries. Great and aromatic coffee. My girlfriend and I have been there twice, and both times were great.

27/07/2025: Luciano is really nice and always has a story to tell. He was the first to open in the area, so for a long time, the 6:00 a.m. coffee was a regular occurrence. The bathroom is a bit of a makeshift affair—the only real flaw!

31/03/2025: Wandering around Bologna we stopped in this beautiful place for breakfast, tasted the lemon cream cake, pears and a tart they were really delicious, I fully recommend it

14/09/2025: Coffee is average. The cheesecake was one of the worst I taste it ever. However, the toilet is clean and accessible.

09/09/2025: While ordering, the service was nonexistent, and I was helped with raised eyebrows, albeit with difficulty. Then, the mug of iced Americano we ordered shattered during the first sip. My friend was covered in coffee from head to toe. Fortunately, the coffee was so tasteless and watery that I hope I can still wash the stains out of his white shirt. This was by far the worst coffee I've ever had in Italy, where we've been going for years. My friend asked the waiter for water and a tea towel to clean himself up, but the arrogant waiters were unwilling to help. They didn't even offer a new coffee.
