A café with an adjoining artisanal pastry shop. An intimate, clean, and private location. Friendly, polite atmosphere. Very professional front-desk service. High-quality sweet and savory pastries, mini pastries and cakes, large leavened products, shortcrust pastry, etc. I must give a special and well-deserved compliment to the pastry chef/waiter (vintage, "which perfectly suits the interior decor," to be precise, wearing a Naif hat). He's capable of taking care of the customer (with absolute discretion), transforming a short break from work or relaxation into a pampering experience, creating a truly family-like atmosphere. A small café with refined and excellent artisanal pastries, it serves excellent breakfasts. In good weather, there are also some outdoor seating. The aperitivo is also excellent, with a wide variety of options. It's superior to all the other cafés in the area.

Very good, I tasted 4 different type of paste and all was well done. Location is not big, some table where you can eat and drink, but again quality of food is very good

16/03/2026: I celebrated my birthday here with a large group of friends, and I really want to say a special thank you to Susanna. She was incredibly kind, patient, and always smiling, even during the most chaotic moments. It's not easy managing so many people at once, but she did it with a kindness and professionalism that truly impressed us. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for making the evening even more enjoyable. People like that really make a difference!
27/02/2026: Altotasso is the kind of place you go for a drink and end up staying all night. A super chill atmosphere, top wines (a carefully selected and never boring selection), and excellent charcuterie boards. But its real strength is the energy: the right people, consistently lively evenings, music, and events that make the place special. It's not just a wine bar, it's a vibe. If you're in Bologna, it's a must-see.

06/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant right in the middle of a food market! They serve typical Bolognese dishes like ragù, pizza, pasta, and cold platters. We ordered one of these, a platter for two with a variety of regional sausages and cheeses. The platter was absolutely worth the €23 price tag. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.
18/04/2026: An excellent choice for traditional Bolognese cuisine in the center of Bologna, without compromises or tourist traps. High-quality local produce, generous, and delicious dishes. The photos speak for themselves; my first review was over three years ago, when they were still called Polpette e Crescentine, and since then I've continued to enjoy going there regularly, bringing friends from all over Italy who want to try Bolognese cuisine.
