04/05/2026: This is the place to eat fish in Bologna. Not fancy, not cheap, but just as it should be done. A perfect carpaccio of fresh fish from the market. The fish of the day was a really good grilled Dorade, with grilled onions, tomatoes and patatoes. A perfect deal.
11/04/2026: A friendly atmosphere, even for children. Friendly service, including the chef and cooks, and the entire staff. I recommend it for a pleasant evening.

09/10/2025: Very nice and welcoming bar/café. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The girls are always courteous and smiling. It's becoming a pleasant daily habit to have coffee almost every morning.
24/07/2025: I came in on the morning of July 23, 2023, after a twenty-year absence. I had a full breakfast. I found a simple atmosphere and fresh pastries. The cured meats are unusual and not my cup of tea. I assume the manager speaks English. Tables are outside.

21/02/2026: Fabulous! We had dinner at Sabino's the night before Valentine's Day because we love the quiet. It was an unforgettable dinner. I also ate raw fish, having always been reticent about it.
The flavors, the combinations, the presentation of the dishes, the details of the place, and above all, Sabino's hospitality and professionalism make this restaurant unique.
You feel pampered from start to finish, with great warmth and friendliness.
We are so happy with this discovery. We will be back with great pleasure 😊

01/03/2026: We visited only for aperitivo; they have a good selection of spirits, something some might overlook but is actually very important. We had six different cocktails, three each, and all were well-executed. Just the right amount of ice (which blocks the drink and keeps it cold), very balanced (the recipes are therefore adhered to), and not overdiluted. The appetizers aren't limited to chips and peanuts, but a nice platter with a little bit of everything, all of good quality. The total cost was absolutely in line with what we were served.

22/05/2026: Paying €20 for "1 kg of fried food" (a mini bowl of mixed fried fish from the supermarket) is the equivalent of authorized theft. A dinner at a neighborhood bar thus takes on the pretensions of a dinner at a gourmet restaurant. See you never again.

13/05/2026: Terrible experience. I ordered over the phone and was given a 15-minute wait. I showed up promptly, so as not to wait, but another 20 minutes passed without any communication. When I pointed out that my time was up and I intended to leave, instead of receiving an apology, I was met with an arrogant attitude.
The management tried to make me feel guilty by leveraging the fact that I'm a regular customer, almost as if that gave them the right to disrespect my time. To make matters worse, the waiter dismissed my legitimate complaints as "small talk," admitting with extreme complacency that they'd simply forgotten my order. Mistakes happen, but the arrogance and rudeness with which they handled it were unacceptable. I won't be returning.
