I visited midweek and the atmosphere was pretty much zero, cold metal tables and stools on a cold night don't work well and a pretty lack lustre drinks menu had me searching for the shortest drink available. The Spanish waitress saved the day by engaging with me as I entered. Prices reflect the location rather than the quality.

02/04/2024: Good quality bar, very crowded on holidays especially during Bologna matches. Friendly and polite staff who, however, have a bit of difficulty when there are a lot of customers. Understandable, obviously, but I recommend less agitation: the customer waits, he doesn't necessarily have to be served frenetically with the real risk of getting an order wrong.

26/03/2024: Two zeppole 8 euros, as large as those eaten in other pastry shops and excellent, at 2.30 each.... A little expensive, right?

12/03/2024: Anche se dall'esterno potrebbe sembrare, non si tratta di un semplice kebabaro, ma di un vero ristorante turco. Il cibo è davvero ottimo e autentico; personalmente ho apprezzato molto il borek. Porzioni molto generose e conto decisamente basso. Un po' impacciato il servizio, ma il personale è stato comunque molto gentile.

03/03/2024: Ho trovato il Bar Borgo Latino quasi per caso, cercando un caffè mentre ero in città per lavoro. Lo spazio è accogliente e luminoso. Il barista decisamente gentile e alla mano. Ho preso un caffè “speciale” al cioccolato e una spremuta d’arancia, entrambi molto, molto buoni. Un angolo di Bologna in cui tornerò sicuramente.

20/02/2024: Coffee bar overlooking the beautiful main square of Imola. Cozy atmosphere, perfect for a coffee, a hot tea or an aperitif. It has seats inside and several tables on a small veranda outside.

26/03/2024: A pearl of Bologna to discover. Typical restaurant environment, everything clean and tidy. Alessandro runs it with his mother, the master of truffle risotto. In the dining room they are the ones who serve you, with such professionalism and friendliness, characteristics that I would say are unusual for this type of location. Order the truffle risotto and attend the show during the service. The simple menu, few typical Bolognese dishes, but with lots of quality. I think they can please everyone. On the menu you will also find truffles at a separate cost. For those who like it, I recommend you try it, for the honest price and quality, with a good Alessandro who will put it for you at the moment, letting you appreciate not only the taste, but also the process. The wine list is also well chosen. For those who have a minimal knowledge of wines, they will understand that there is an idea in that list, each wine can be perfectly combined with the dishes and in case you want to treat yourself there are also some very sought after wines. The cover charge includes bread and water, a rare thing. At the end of the dinner you will be full, happy and satisfied with everything you have seen and eaten, even more so when you see the bill. And if you also appreciate a good liqueur after a meal, let Alessandro know who will pamper you with his legendary bar counter with his collection of liqueurs and cocktails. It will definitely be a point of reference when I return to Bologna again. Thanks for serving us.

18/01/2024: A great restaurant, run by two men, one of whom tries very hard to present us with local specialties. Very good cuisine, service A1. Excellent wines. Everything was very nice and nice to sit in the small guest garden.

04/04/2024: Friendly service, okay prices, tasty pasta, slightly weaker desserts (tiramisu is poor compared to other places in Bologna). The staff speaks good English. Tables inside and outside - I recommend.
