13/10/2025: Another strange experience, honestly. We're not used to private beaches, and in this region, 99% of the beach is taken over by restaurants, so you expect top-notch service, and that's not the case at all. In such a touristy place, they don't speak Spanish or English—absurd! Later, they only had one waiter, who was hardly a waiter at all. He set the table in five stages, because instead of bringing everything on a tray... he brought us: the tablecloths first and left, then after a few minutes he came back with the silverware and left, then the plates, and then the menus. So, if you ask about the food, I'll leave that to your own amusing conclusion. In short, expensive and bad. Anyway, Italy...

14/08/2025: We had a wonderful experience at Fracatel! The food was absolutely superb — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with the best local ingredients. The service was outstanding: the staff took such good care of us, always kind, attentive, and thoughtful about our needs, never once making us feel rushed or unwelcome. One especially touching moment was when a member of the team celebrated their birthday and kindly shared their homemade cake with us — such a sweet gesture that made us feel like part of the family. A true gem where hospitality and quality go hand in hand. Highly recommended!

06/05/2026: An incredible discovery at Mimì alla Ferrovia. The cannelloni were absolutely fantastic: they melted in your mouth, the pasta was so incredibly thin you could barely taste it. Honestly, I wanted to order a second one, it was so good. The Neapolitan pasta alla Genovese (the famous onion ragù) was also excellent, with a rich and comforting flavor, just the way you hope to find it in Naples. I also loved the atmosphere: lots of locals come for lunch, you mostly hear Italians around you, and it really gives the impression of an authentic place, far from the overly touristy restaurants. The service is quick and efficient, and you can tell the place has a real history. My only comment would be about the portions, a little small considering how delicious everything is… it just makes you want to eat more! And above all, let yourself be guided for the desserts: the lemon delight and the ricotta-fig cake were absolutely divine!

02/07/2026: I went to dinner alone, and the waiter asked for my phone number to go out, and he got annoyed when I said no. Italians are quite macho and lecherous, which is very annoying. They should adapt to international tourism and stop harassing women. It's very frustrating that you can't sit down and eat in peace without being asked out. The pasta was good, but you should order an appetizer because the portions are very small. The prices are much lower than in other places to eat with a sea view. The ambiance is very nice.

02/07/2026: Excellent place in Nerano, except for the spaghetti with clams or mussels, which are exceptional and not much, and the list of delicacies is endless. Go to Capri and eat like Verginella and the best. I highly recommend Massimo.

24/09/2025: A real insider tip you'll almost want to keep to yourself! The food is fantastic – the menu includes both fish and meat dishes, all freshly prepared. The service is warm, attentive, and thoroughly pleasant. What's especially nice is that it's a family business, and you can tell that right away. A place to feel good, enjoy, and come back. Absolutely recommended!

05/07/2026: We had a terrible experience at Donna Sofia, we were seated near the oven which was really hot, it took the waiter almost 40 minutes to attend to us to ask for our order after asking them several times and signing to them that we are ready. The waiter was rude and just asked in a rude tone "what do you want?" and when we ordered Caesar salad and Pizza with zucchini, took them another 40 minutes to bring the food, we thought that the worst part is behind us and we can enjoy the food now, but the salad was all full with the sauce in an exaggerated way that felt I am eating a sauce with little lettuce, and the pizza was just tasteless - defiantly the worst pizza I have eaten not in Italy, but ever!!!

26/06/2026: A fantastic experience at this Pompeii restaurant. We really appreciated the attention to detail, like the wooden condiment basket with the table number clearly visible. Everything we ordered was excellent. The seafood risotto was flavorful and rich, and the antipasti platter was made with the freshest ingredients. Finally, the tiramisu, served with chocolate decorations and whipped cream, was the perfect end to an unforgettable dinner. We will definitely be back.

28/06/2026: We ate wonderfully; the anchovies were spectacular, the zucchini flowers were excellent, and the mozzarella balls were excellent. The pizzas, both the sausage and broccoli rabe and the tomato one, were excellent. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and the prices were fair.

16/06/2026: The owner is very nice, and Spacanapoli is a place I really like. I really didn't want to leave such a low review, but I had a severe allergic reaction after eating their cuoppo. I'm only allergic to stale seafood; fresh seafood doesn't bother me. I ate seafood for several days in Positano and Amalfi without any allergic reactions, but after eating their cuoppo, I immediately started itching. I initially thought it was just a little stale and the itching would subside, but the rash is still there and itching is ongoing—something I've never experienced before. Although it didn't feel so stale when I ate it, the symptoms really make me question the quality of the ingredients. Perhaps it's because I went close to closing time and the food had been sitting for a day, so the quality wasn't as good. They really need to control the quality of their food. ------------------------ Regarding the restaurant's reply, I respond as follows: Why are you so arrogant in your replies to every negative review? I already said that if it were just a normal allergic reaction, I would have just let it go. I developed a lot of red rashes on my upper limbs, and it's still itchy after six days. If it were insect bites, I would have to be surrounded by insects to get so many rashes, so how could I not know? Besides, the itching started immediately after I ate your Cuoppo (a type of seafood allergy treatment). Seafood allergies are instantaneous. I ate seafood for several days in the past few days, both raw and cooked, without any discomfort. It was only after eating at your restaurant that I started feeling unwell. You usually use inferior ingredients to fool customers with strong immune systems, and they're lucky they didn't encounter any problems. This time, you think you were just unlucky because I wasn't fooled, without any reflection or introspection. You even made a customer apologize! Have you ever apologized for a bad review? Do you show even a hint of remorse for what is clearly your fault? These are irresponsible restaurant owners who only show arrogance and blame customers when they have food problems. I won't go back. I was initially going to give you two stars out of politeness, but with this attitude, even one star is too much.

14/07/2026: The prices for the starters were exorbitant, and they weren't as tasty as they were advertised on social media. The prices for the buffet starters were also very rough. The waiters also showed little attention to the customers. In short, a terrible experience. I won't be returning, unfortunately.

12/07/2026: I went to lunch with my husband, encouraged by the well-known name, but we were disappointed to find a lack of staff management, distracted waiters who barely brought a bottle of water to the table, not even a wine or a Coke, no presentation whatsoever...nothing. Annoyed and distracted, no silverware on the table... barely a tablecloth!!!! So I wonder, aside from the high prices, and sure, we were aware of that... but at the end of the bill, an extra €6.50 for service???? Service for what??? What would I have done first, just to go get plates and silverware from the kitchen? Never again! Highly not recommended.

26/01/2026: My favorite neighborhood caffeteria. Wonderful pastries, excellent sfogliatelle, sfolla, cornetti... And great coffee! A shot or a beverage end of day makes this a great stop morning or afternoon.

24/06/2026: Absolutely delicious pizza! You can taste each individual, tasty ingredient 😋. The tomatoey sauce, flavorful cheese, and the bacon and salami were freshly sliced. The crust was crispy yet fluffy. Excellent value for money 👍. The pizza truck with the friendly pizza maker is in Riva del Garda on Via S. Alessandro on Tuesdays and Fridays. Our apartment was right next door – what luck! 😃
