07/11/2025: Like many bars in the Chiaia and Toledo area, it's a tourist trap. The coffee prices are high, an insult to Neapolitan coffee. The desserts are old and seem forgotten. The service isn't bad, but it's better not to waste money in these streets.

18/10/2025: Absolute rip-off. 12 euros for a 25cl beer and a glass of prosecco. Run away. No menu with prices. It's designed to rip off tourists.

14/10/2025: I discovered it thanks to the breakfast deal with my accommodation. It was absolutely excellent: quality products, a wide selection, and friendly staff. In addition to the breakfast voucher, I purchased other products to try, all excellent.

28/09/2025: A classic pastry shop where the products are more beautiful to look at than delicious to eat. Rather disappointing.

21/10/2025: I was a visitor a year ago. A beautiful view of Vesuvius and the crystal-clear sea🔮. Very tasty ice cream, also the best I've ever had, and we came daily. 😀

25/08/2025: Terrible experience! The tables are next to the road, with buses passing within 1 meter of them. There's no table service (you have to get up and go get your things, risking them taking your table in the meantime). The much-vaunted fruit pieces are a truly tiny tray (max 10x4 cm) and cost €5! The ice creams are poor quality, and they put two scoops of ice cream in a croissant for €5, making the whole thing truly mediocre, ridiculous (see photo), and unpresentable. Overall, a terrible experience that I don't recommend!

04/11/2025: A delicious pistachio, chocolate, and white chocolate croissant, served still warm, paired with good coffee, makes for a great Italian breakfast. The service is friendly and helpful. I recommend it!

01/11/2025: A place in a great location, close to the Naples Underground. Excellent coffee and pastries. Low prices. It's worth sitting outside and enjoying the flavors and views. Nothing special, but the visit was very pleasant.

22/10/2025: The food was good once we figured out how to get food. The staff was rude and unpleasant to work with. The servers had attitudes and the cashier, was rude and focused on his phone and not the transaction. As a tourist, I did not feel welcomed at this establishment. The server was rude to other guests as well, so it wasn’t just me.

10/10/2025: Good place to pick up coffee before meeting the Viator tour at the Starhotel. Croissant is not your typical, it’s just dough. Coffee is decent, but then again, haven’t had a bad cup in Napoli. Only positive is the the location. Otherwise, I’m sure there are better.

25/11/2025: The cappuccino and orange juice were average, nothing special. What I find significant, however, is that they didn't bring water glasses by default, as any professional barista should. The general feeling was that no one was professional. It was very crowded, and the gazebo is tiny compared to the number of tables and chairs: they kept crowding people in and moving us from one side to the other, with chairs literally rolling over our heads. The waiters were visibly unprepared and lacked any attention to the customer. A terrible experience, absolutely avoidable.

19/10/2025: Lunch on the terrace in a friendly atmosphere, the pasta is good and inexpensive. Very good service.

06/09/2025: Very close to the church, it offers delicious gelato sundaes and an excellent cinnamon cappuccino. The staff is friendly and attentive. If you want to enjoy a delicious gelato while sitting down, near the sea, this is the place to be.

15/05/2025: Un Gran caffè ai massimi livelli con prodotti d'eccellenza e personale ai massimi livelli. Atmosfera unica e dettagli del locale da lasciare senza fiato. Anche il conto lascia senza fiato ma comunque in linea con l'offerta e la magia del luogo. Chi passa da Napoli deve comunque andarci, ne vale la pena!

21/09/2025: Ordered two sandwiches at 9:00 PM, estimated delivery at 10:00 PM. The order arrived at 11:00 PM, and there could be a bit of a delay, but after waiting two hours, the sandwiches were also wrong. Despite the mistake, we ate one sandwich, but we called to have another remade. Even though I live on a perfectly normal main road, somehow the delivery driver for the business took the wrong turn several times and called me repeatedly, asking for directions. The sandwich arrived at 12:15 AM, already frozen. A terrible experience.

12/10/2025: Extremely harsh chatter, a terrible experience, and we still hadn't recovered from the undercooked pastiera. VERY UNPLEASANT CASHIER

30/09/2025: I just went to Ambrosino on Via Scarlatti Vomero for a plate of pasta with potatoes and provola. I wish I'd never had it before! The provola was nonexistent; they forgot to put it in. The pasta had the consistency of yesterday's pasta that they'd reheated in the microwave. So they served me a dry plate of pasta without the proper blend of potatoes and provola, dry to the point of being inedible and with a strange, stale taste. Furthermore, when I mentioned this to the cashier at checkout (a whopping €11.00 for such a piece of junk), she didn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience and told me to pay quickly and leave (which was enough to make her face swollen). So I strongly advise against eating at AMBROSINO ON VIA SCARLATTI to avoid experiencing similar, unfortunate situations.

18/09/2025: The owner (a black man) was physically assaulting me simply because I politely asked him to dry his greasy, wet hands before giving me my change. When I asked him to give me my money back, he threw it to the ground. I don't understand why these people work in public places, especially in a tourist-oriented area. I've never seen anything worse.

10/11/2025: The best bar on the volcano. Excellent coffee, fast service, and friendly staff... but the real highlights are Nello and Vincenzo 🥰 super friendly.

09/11/2025: Good coffee, but the service today disappointed me: the order in the line wasn't respected at the cash register, and when I pointed this out, the response was rude. I had the impression they were an acquaintance, since they greeted each other by their first names. It's a shame, because the coffee is good.
