21/06/2025: Qué increíble experiencia fue, superó con creces mis expectativas. Fuimos a una clase de cocina y cata de vinos y la familia no podría haber sido mejor. Eran tan cálidos e invitando me recordó a mis cenas dominicales de la infancia. Nos alojamos en la costa de Amalfi y tomamos un taxi acuático a la hermosa ciudad de Maiori. Nuestro anfitrión, Aurelio, nos recogió en la ciudad y nos llevó al viñedo. Nos llevó a un breve recorrido por el viñedo y nos enseñó la historia de la propiedad, las vides y los vinos que se elaboraban a partir de las diferentes uvas. Una vez hecho el recorrido, nos trajeron a la zona del comedor donde conocimos a María (su madre) , su padre, y su hermana (mis disculpas por no recordar sus nombres) entonces fue correcto trabajar. Comenzamos con un aperitivo de salami fresco y queso y luego cocinamos carrozzo de berenjena con berenjena fresca de su jardín. El segundo plato fue lingüina casera con salsa de albahaca de tomate. Hicimos la pasta fresca con huevos de las gallinas de la propiedad, y la salsa con tomates y albahaca de su jardín. ¡EL MEJOR QUE HE TENIDO! Habíamos maridado cada plato con el vino recomendado y todo lo que perfeccionamos, terminamos comprando un estuche mixto para ser enviado de vuelta a casa. Terminamos la comida con un poco de Limoncello casero que Aurelio tuvo la amabilidad de compartir la receta con nosotros, luego nos llevó de regreso a Maiori donde tomamos el taxi acuático de regreso a nuestro hotel. Qué día tan increíble, no podíamos dejar de sonreír. En mi próxima visita a la región sin duda volveré a visitar Basileo!

29/10/2025: We came early for lunch for a quick meal and opted for their deep fried fish and chips. Not too bad after all better than the street koppo for sure. A beer and glass of reasonable white wine has a perfect match with it. And you can sit down into a beautiful cosy room with smailing waiters, which for me is a huge plus!

28/10/2025: We sat in the evening at a lovely table facing the street with people walking across. We did try few dishes, but the best for me was the catch of the day, a really tasteful fish with freshly cooked vegs with white sauce. Very very good one. In addition the pinot grey glass was a perfect match. I highly recommend this place.

08/10/2025: I would have preferred to review the cobo, but since I sat at the table for 20 minutes without anyone bothering to stop, after I asked if I could order at the table or if I had to go inside, I have to review the rudeness and indifference of the staff. I asked if I could grab a quick bite and they said yes, also telling me the lasagna had been taken out. Then a colleague of theirs came by and said, "I'm coming now." After 20 minutes, he started chatting affectionately with other people. At this point, I got up and left... End of story.

04/10/2025: Average cappuccino and croissant...high bill! €11.50 for two cappuccinos and croissants, even though they were served at the table, seems excessive to me.

02/10/2025: A very pleasant place, I always go there with pleasure, the staff are friendly, the sfogliatella santa rosa is so good!!! The owner Daniela makes a cappuccino with an excellent and delicious aroma.

03/08/2025: I tried two delicious sandwiches! The meat was perfectly cooked and quality, the bread soft, and the vegetables were just the right amount of flavor. The cheesecake was good, but not as good as the sandwiches. The staff was incredibly kind and made sure we were satisfied, bringing us a cheesecake that was half berry and half Nutella. I highly recommend it!

02/08/2025: Very nice place, good food. But I have to make a point about the waitress last night. She needs to be very careful when listening to customers. I hope it was an accident and not intentional. I chose a non-alcoholic beer for about €3, and she gave me an alcoholic beer for €6. I don't want to think badly of it. But when she came to the table, with the menu in hand, I verbally specified Forst beer, and I certainly can't make up the name non-alcoholic even if it's on the menu. You trust me, and meanwhile, as I stood up at the end of dinner, my head was spinning. There can be many reasons why a woman orders a non-alcoholic beer! I hope what happened to me never happens to anyone again.

14/10/2025: "Minimalist" portions and stratospheric prices

08/10/2025: This place is awful. I had a pizza, and while the crust was good it was so thin in the middle I couldn't hold up the pizza. And it was so difficult to cut and they only gave me a dull knife to do that with. Additionally it was dripping with grease, it ran all down my hands and dripped off my pizza into the plate. When our server realized I was unhappy he avoided helping us. If you need to eat at the ruins I wouldn't go here.

28/09/2025: I didn't find anything particularly good that justified the price. The Sorrento-style gnocchi (potato?) were savory, the fried anchovies were decent, and the other dishes were ordered by other diners... I won't criticize. €30 per person... no comment.

26/09/2025: We can't rate the food, we only had a few drinks! Everything looked good, though! The waiters were a bit arrogant, but the location by the harbor is fantastic!

15/05/2025: Dined here whilst staying in Atrani. The food was excellent, the service incredibly efficient and welcoming. We were a walk in, no wait time. Would highly recommend. So good we booked for the following night.

02/05/2025: Pasamos una semana en la costa de Amalfi. La comida y el servicio en Savo era increíble. Un montón de trampas turísticas y ofertas pobres en Amalfi y especialmente en Positano. Esta pequeña ciudad de Atrani tenía dos de los mejores restaurantes de la costa amalfitana y yo pondría a Savo en contra de cualquier restaurante en el que haya estado. Pasta fresca, tomates increíbles, pasta de limón era increíble. Pedí una recomendación y Elia sugirió la pasta de calabacín, que era uno de los artículos más baratos del menú. ¿Dónde hacen eso? Tenía razón y puede que haya sido uno de los mejores platos de pasta que he probado. Carla y Elia te hacen sentir como en familia y eso es muy raro hoy en día. ¡Todo alrededor de 5 estrellas! Daría 6 si pudiera

30/04/2025: Absolutely worth trying is "la polacca", a typical dessert from Aversa, they continually churn it out at any time of day or night.

26/06/2025: Every time I go there I feel at home. I've been going there for years and I've gotten along with the staff and they always have an eye for me. Top food, top meats, top appetizers and a wide selection of beers and wines that they select personally.

19/05/2025: Excelente cafetería con asientos al aire libre a pocos minutos a pie tanto de la estación de tren como del espectacular palacio y parque de Caserta. Excelente café, corteza italiana - menos sándwiches y sfogliatella. Muy razonable precio.
