17/11/2025: We stopped by for a casual lunch after a long walk around Positano and were hoping to relax for a bit, but the experience was honestly disappointing. We ordered a pizza, the fried seafood platter, and mussels and *literally everything* was overly salty. The bread was also so hard that we could barely enjoy it What made the meal even less enjoyable was the service. The staff seemed to be rushing us from the moment we sat down. They kept clearing our trays immediately after we picked up the last slice, and then asked if we wanted the bill even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. We just wanted to chill and unwind, but the constant glances and pressure made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were overstaying despite having ordered a full meal The one positive was the ambience, the setting itself is lovely. But overall, the food and service didn’t live up to the vibe of the place

16/11/2025: We had an excellent meal here. We had the sautéed red fish and a pasta with shrimp. We took the recommendations of the staff. Food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Chocolate almond cake was one of the best. We were here off season so it was quite enjoyable .

02/08/2025: Caseificio, yogurteria e forno dai sapori unici! Una sosta è obbligatoria. Purtroppo la mozzarella è talmente buona che va via subito! Consigliabile prenotarla per telefono.

27/11/2025: I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Mandetta. My room was very spacious and clean. Very qualitative products all over. The breakfast was tasty, containing croissants, eggs, bufala yogurt and fruits. ❤️The whole staff was kind and helpful in every situation I requested. I highly recommend this hotel to all guests, full season summer or winter business. 🥰 grazie!

21/10/2025: I didn't have the pleasure of staying here, but I had the privilege of dining there. I was greeted warmly and with great professionalism. The fish is top-quality; among the appetizers, the one that most impressed me was the restaurant's own tuna in oil, accompanied by Tropea onions—a perfect harmony of flavors. I then enjoyed spaghetti with clams and razor clams, perfect in their simplicity. To finish, large fried and roasted red mullet: a perfect display of the aromas of the sea.

Prodotti di grande freschezza e qualità, naturalmente ben cucinati ci hanno fatto davvero sognare. Un ricco antipasto ben illustrato, e un buonissimo riso ai frutti di mare. Locale super consigliato

21/05/2025: Este restaurante era un gran lugar para cenar. Desde la cálida hospitalidad de Nino hasta los aperitivos más deliciosos que comerá, no puede equivocarse en Pane E Vino's. El pulpo antipasto era el mejor... no masticable y en un delicioso vinagre. Los músculos y la clase no eran masticables y con el pan mojado en el caldo, no puedes equivocarte con ninguno de los platos. La berenjena era tan buena que anhelábamos más. No había mejor brushetta ya que los tomates eran los mejores que he probado. Para colmo con Lemoncello que no era demasiado dulce y no se puede obtener una mejor manera de complacer a su paleta.

17/09/2025: I had a 5-star review from 7 years ago, but I have to change it. I went for dinner on a Sunday to eat something good, like seafood. We had an appetizer, and some of the food tasted like detergent, so it definitely wasn't good. The only things that stood out were the octopus and the salmon, although you could tell it had been open for a while, but at least it was good. The pasta was acceptable but nothing incredible. Two appetizers, three first courses, a Pepsi, and 0.5L of wine (an opened bottle that had been used to fill glasses in the past and cost 15 euros) totaled 100 euros. Too much. I won't be returning.

16/09/2025: A restaurant located on the Salerno coast (the road that runs along the sea from Salerno to Battipaglia). The restaurant is family-run and offers excellent seafood dishes. The location could be improved, but considering the overall context of the area, it's more than good. The quality/price ratio is excellent.

13/11/2025: A surreal evening, to say the least. There was stand-up comedy, and the owner stood behind the raised bar to make sure no one in the room spoke. Anyone who dared to utter a word was rudely shushed... remember, this is a pub/cocktail bar, not the Teatro San Carlo; people come out to chat or comment on the comedian's (bad) jokes. Everyone in the room was stunned and embarrassed, and people looked at each other in disbelief. I was anxious to speak. The worst came when the owner rudely shushed a table of women who were having a good time and drinking heavily. When they complained, he even raised his voice, and they were eventually chased away. Granted, he might have asked for them to lower their voices, but he could have done so politely. I've never seen anything like it. It chilled the room and ruined everyone's evening. Never again.

09/11/2025: I went after dinner and I have to say it was a great evening. The only downside is only one cash register for drinks.

30/06/2025: Perhaps one of the few bars that still has croissants for 1 euro (even the stuffed ones) and they are very good, flaky and crunchy. Excellent opening time very early. Recommended!

08/12/2025: The service was quite unfriendly and impatient. We were given a table right on the street with cars going past and uneven pavement to sit on. The sweet croissants were quite awful and the plain croissants were doughy and not crunchy at all, also didn’t taste very fresh. Very disappointing.

14/11/2025: Good bar with a wide range of products, friendly staff, prices a little high in my humble opinion.

15/10/2025: Went for lunch with friends (13). Nice and well-kept place. Prices a little higher than average for similar establishments: decent appetizer for the quality and turnover per item (?), a first course (good overall) or a second course of your choice (the meat dishes were so-so), a dessert, 7 mineral waters, 2 liters of wine, dessert and some coffees or liqueurs, average €35 per person (see receipt)......a bit high.

12/11/2025: I didn't like anything except the beautiful tables. I've never had such tasteless pasta anywhere. The carbonara sauce was absolutely tasteless, no salt, no pepper, no cheese. I had slightly warmed egg yolks mixed with spaghetti and a couple of pieces of fried pancetta. Disappointing.
