09/03/2025: Happy to have stopped by and will definitely be back. Simple but beautiful place, extremely friendly and welcoming owner. The sandwich (the Buono) was exceptional. The broccoli dish, in its simplicity, is among the best things I have ever eaten. The trio of dishes was excellent, even in the idea, giving the possibility to do so. I only have something to say about the rice with red cabbage, which was not bad but too delicate. By cooking vegan food and not using cheese for creaming, something would have been needed to further enhance the flavor of the vegetables which had thus been lost for a moment. The next day we returned and took two portions of escarole to take away. That too is exceptional.

04/03/2025: Tonight we ate delicious appetizers and dishes typical of the area in this restaurant, with a friendly owner and a welcoming and well-kept environment. We will definitely return (we hope), since we come from Verona where people sing and play.

For work I often travel to many regions but I must admit that I would return to this restaurant every day, it deserves award stars. Congratulations to the Chef and his wife who, in addition to being the owners, are very pleasant and cheerful people with whom you can also have a nice chat, the restaurant manager Mr. Filippo is extremely professional and has great experience. 01/01/2025: What can we say about Cafè Velò Bistrot other than that it is one of the places of the soul? We could certainly argue about the quality and high workmanship of the products, the goodness of the coffee or the immense courtesy of the staff, but the reality is that Velò is a somewhat magical place, where Alessandro's love for pastry art, combined with the love for company and people, they created a dreamlike place, with clear cinematic features. Sitting for a few moments at one of the few, intimate tables in the room furnished with an eccentric but cohesive taste, is a bit like entering the heart of a French film from a few decades ago; you are surrounded by a slightly retro air, which eventually enters you and is taken away. Monica's kindness and familiarity, with her sweet but composed way of making you feel at home, complete the warm and inviting atmosphere of this place out of this world. And let's not forget Pietro, always kind and accommodating and never intrusive, but with that attitude that immediately puts you in a good mood. In short, if you are looking for a place to have breakfast you can also come in here, but if you are looking for an oasis of dreamlike peace where you can leave worldly worries out and enjoy a moment of total joy for the palate, the eyes and the soul, then you MUST come in, and if you can, don't come out again!

24/03/2025: Well, the hyper-qualified and friendly staff, the food was a little less so, specifically a pasta that was too al dente and a pappardelle with mushrooms that wasn't particularly tasty. Environment in excellent condition even if old school. Average account.

Aperitivi, dolci e caffè sono stellari, ma a Natale impossibile non prenotare il panettone e pandoro del Gran Caffè Romano. Il personale educato, gentile e disponibile ti avvolge con la massima professionalità. Da ritornarci sicuramente.

02/03/2025: Clean, small and out of the way place. The food is excellent, especially the fried foods and the pasta. The Genoese and the pasta and potatoes are very good. The fried foods were dry and not greasy. The parmesan is good. Acceptable prices. Recommended restaurant.

26/02/2025: Trattoria off the beaten track, with typical Neapolitan recipes made in a homemade way. Small but welcoming environment. Excellent service and friendly staff. Toilet very clean and, although small, well laid out. Excellent quality, goodness/price. To return!

02/04/2025: A friend of mine and I came across this restaurant even though our destination was another one and I have to say it was a wonderful discovery. Starting with the kindness of Mr. Rosario who, even though we were out of time for lunch, seated us without hesitation. He prepared us a mixed appetizer and a fried pizza much more worthy of other very well-known pizzerias. Very normal prices. The place, a small restaurant that was being renovated at the time, is very welcoming in its total simplicity. It was all really delicious and we will definitely be back.
