01/05/2026: I booked days ago and requested a table on the side, and naturally, we were placed in the middle of the room, facing the kitchen exit. I've been frequenting this place during the summer for about twenty years. I've always had a great experience, but unfortunately, tonight I have to say that since the captain passed away, the place has been struggling. Their class is beyond compare. After paying the bill, I explained that I've never eaten so badly for so much, and I explained my reasons, and the response left me speechless. I ordered the fireplace appetizer, and I should have understood the difference from that. The pizzeria appetizer consisted of two types of seafood salad and a prawn. Then I ordered a seafood Catalana, and here's the disaster: I received a plate with three lobsters and a lobster. Okay, I know exactly what I ordered, a Catalana, but not what I received: three frozen lobsters and a lobster. I pointed out to the manager that the whole thing wasn't up to par, given that at the entrance you see live, Italian lobsters, not foreign, frozen ones. He replied, "But those have a different price." How dare you, the first person to ask you the price? Who asked you for three lobsters? When the captain was there, he would drive around with his trolley and tell you what to enjoy tonight. The trolley with some splendid scampi was parked in front of the smoking room and never moved. You prefer to sell frozen lobsters. "Congratulations!" To top it off, no fruit, which I usually get, much less pastries with my coffee. Never again.

26/05/2026: A truly high-end business lunch at Le Bon Bec. The meat was simply exceptional: top-quality and properly aged, you can immediately taste the true expertise and attention to detail behind it. Impeccable service, with Santo and his daughter always present, professional and very friendly without being intrusive. The setting is also perfect for business meetings or high-end business lunches, elegant yet authentic. A beautiful final gesture: Santo personally stopped by our table to thank us after lunch. A simple yet rare thing these days, it shows how much he truly cares about his customers. Places like this don't just sell meat: they sell experience, hospitality, and style. I will gladly return.

07/05/2026: On Sunday, May 3rd, right at lunchtime, they kindly found me a place to eat. They were very kind and quick, both taking my order and bringing me my first course. I didn't really like the QR code menu; it reminds me of the COVID restrictions, besides being impractical. The place is nice, right in the center of town, in a lovely square. The still water in a carafe, the pasta a bit undercooked, the sauce not special, and the €20 price tag didn't really satisfy me. I don't recommend it, and I don't plan on returning.

14/02/2026: Excellent craft beer! I had the new England hazy IPA and loved it. FYI you order at the register but then need to bring your ticket to the person pouring beers at the tap. It was a weekend so the bar was packed. I do wish they had a bit more room. But otherwise the beers were cold and well crafted and the staff were friendly. I'd definitely come back here with friends for a pint or three!

10/06/2026: This was our first family dinner in Torino and it was delicious! The pastas are well balanced and fresh, while the dessert is honestly the highlight! Absolutely try the tarte-tartin and the bunet!
