15/02/2026: Today we were there for the second time. We were enchanted the first time, and the second, too. Nestled in the hills near Collesano, it offers breathtaking views and is easy to reach. The place feels like home, they welcome you with a smile, the fireplace is always lit, in short, it's a comfortable refuge. The service is excellent, even on the busiest and most hectic days, with a constant smile and friendliness from the staff. The owner loves what he does; you'll see him wandering the tables, personally serving guests, and making sure everything is fine. The food is delicious, made with top-quality ingredients, with a focus on local produce. The dishes are a mix of tradition and innovation, but without losing their local identity. In short, it's like eating at a gourmet grandmother's house! The portions are generous; we couldn't finish everything and took the rest home because throwing it away would have been sacrilegious. They always offer a shot of their own liqueurs. The chocolate one is definitely worth trying; it's sublime. We bought a bottle. Casale Drinzi is one of those places that fills your belly and warms your heart, perfect for a little pampering every now and then. See you next time! 22/01/2026: Our visit to Osteria San Francesco on June 8th, 2025, was a wonderful experience. Francesco welcomed us warmly and offered us seats on the terrace. I had the impression he was a little surprised that we wanted to eat there with 10 people. He immediately called his brother Massimo, who prepared the kitchen. Several other helpers also arrived to assist Massimo with the cooking. The Osteria is somewhat hidden away on a small, steeply rising road. The dining rooms aren't very large, but there's also a grotto, a room carved directly into the mountainside. Francesco and Massimo are very friendly and they made our evening truly enjoyable. The food, prepared by Massimo, was excellent. It's safe to say that the Osteria team knows how to cook. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

17/03/2026: A sublime experience. Fabrizio is an exceptional host and will guide you in choosing the best dish for your tastes. I would, however, suggest the risotto al salto as a first course and the baked potatoes as a side, both truly exceptional. There's not much to say about the meat, which is bordering on perfection. The price is commensurate with the quality, so it's higher than average, yet you'll leave the restaurant already wanting to return.

14/03/2026: Staff is great so is service. Food is amazing worth the visit and price. Also with a toddler for a Saturday lunch they were absolutely welcoming (not expected at all for the area!). So… bravi bravi bravi!

02/03/2026: For several years now, we've been frequenting this delightful restaurant in the Sempione area of ​​Milan. We've often enjoyed its menus for our Christmas lunch or spent pleasant seafood evenings there, and it has never disappointed. The other evening was one of these evenings, celebrating a birthday. The menu had been agreed upon, and we had a wonderful time. We began with a mixed appetizer served in scallops, all truly remarkable for the choice of ingredients and the presentation and flavor of the dishes. The shrimp lollipop was also very original. For our first courses, we were served ravioli and a crepe, both made with seafood, which were delicious. We concluded our tasting with an excellent fried fish. After a sorbet, we were served a truly remarkable fruit cake, and then we finished with a delicious myrtle liqueur and coffee. It was all accompanied by a Sicilian wine whose name I don't remember, but it was truly remarkable. The overall rating is clearly more than positive; this place never disappoints. If you love seafood, it's definitely one of the places I highly recommend in Milan. It's a very refined place, not overly glamorous in its ambiance, but a pleasant place to have a conversation. The service is truly superb, friendly, never over the top, and perfect. A very positive thing for those with celiac disease is that practically every dish can be served to people with celiac disease. The price is absolutely reasonable for what you get and clearly in line with the city of Milan and the area. But I want to reiterate that what we really like is the quality of the ingredients and the way the dishes are presented; you can tell there's a lot of in-depth research behind it. In conclusion, an absolutely unmissable place for seafood lovers, highly recommended.

14/02/2026: I made a reservation online, only to show up and find the restaurant completely closed for the off-season. Seriously? You’re closed but still taking reservations? On February 14, when most places are busy and it’s hard to find an alternative last-minute! Totally unacceptable and incredibly disappointing — update your system if you’re not open.

10/02/2026: A restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Iseo, offering a fantastic view. We had lunch with a group of friends, and the warm day allowed us to dine al fresco. The atmosphere is relaxing and very welcoming. The menu features lake fish, carefully prepared using top-quality ingredients. The wine list is excellent, perfect for accompanying your meal. The staff is knowledgeable, although, in our opinion, they were limited in their ability to express their opinions. Recommended.
