29/12/2025: Recommended by a local, we came here a few times for drinks. Perhaps the best cocktails we had in 3 months in Sicily, and highly pleasant atmosphere--more casual and friendly than we expected on first sight.

20/01/2026: Sal8 delivered one of the best meals of our entire trip. The cacao tagliatelle was, without exaggeration, the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten—perfectly balanced, earthy yet subtly sweet, and completely unforgettable. Truly next-level. We also had the sea bass with mashed potatoes, and both were bursting with flavor—fresh, delicate fish paired with incredibly rich and comforting potatoes done just right. The meal started with excellent Sicilian bread and olive oil, followed by thoughtfully paired wines that complemented each dish beautifully. We finished with a delectable tiramisu, the perfect ending to an already flawless meal. Beyond the food, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming, making the entire experience feel special from start to finish. Sal8 is an absolute must-do in Agrigento—creative, soulful cooking done exceptionally well. 🍷🍝✨

06/01/2026: Informal atmosphere, simply delicious typical Ligurian dishes, prepared with high-quality ingredients. The service is fast, not impeccable, but definitely above average. I've visited several times for work, and it's always crowded with locals (and rightly so!) It's always best to book by phone.

18/12/2025: I don't think I can add much to the well-deserved fame of this historic restaurant. The varied menu is rigorously traditional yet with original touches (try the toe drue stockfish), the wine list is very well-curated and varied, the service is excellent, and finally, the prices are "fair" for an excellent quality-price ratio. An experience not to be missed.

06/12/2025: The experience at this small restaurant exceeded our expectations. First, the staff: kind, cheerful, and very helpful. Then, the various courses delighted our palates. The porcini mushroom risotto was truly delicious. To sweeten the evening, pandoro and panettone with Chantilly cream were simple but delicious. We recommend this restaurant for a quiet evening away from the hustle and bustle.

29/12/2025: A wonderful place for dinner. They reimagine Sicilian cuisine in a vegan way with great taste and creativity; something rare and truly unique in the area. The dishes are outstanding, made with high-quality ingredients, and the service is excellent, with staff who are both highly professional and genuinely warm. If you're unsure on what to get, definitely ask for recommendations. They will surprise you with dishes you wouldn’t think possible. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming: the wooden structure feels like a mountain cabin in winter, while in summer dining under the olive trees evokes a Sicilian country home. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it to everyone, vegan or not

14/01/2026: I was in Sorrento on an organized trip, and I happened upon this restaurant by chance with some of my fellow travelers. The owner greeted us very warmly, saying he'd offer us both wine and bruschetta. We thought it was yet another tourist trap, where they sit you down and then charge you for everything, but they were true to their word: decent wine, excellent bruschetta, and delicious main courses, all reasonably priced (the seafood risotto was €20, which was also delicious). Highly recommended, especially for its excellent location; if I were to return to this beautiful town, I'd definitely know where to have lunch.

28/01/2026: From the outside it might look like a small, unassuming place, but inside it's absolutely charming. The service was excellent and the espresso was delicious. It's very well located and has a great local atmosphere: you get the feeling that lots of people take their work break here… and rightly so.

12/01/2026: A great experience with Laura and Luigi; started class with a little wine, focaccia and various olive oils that they make. Each one had good flavor (orange, basil were delightful). My husband and I made pizza from start to finish and now we can make our own at home with the helpful hints given to us by Luigi. Another group made delicious raviolis with Laura. We shared our pizza and they shared the raviolis. An all around fun experience for all! We appreciated the ride to their lovely kitchen location from a meeting point in Sorrento. Highly recommend this experience!!!

02/12/2025: Under the warm Sorrento sun at Tirabusció, Luigi and his wife turned our pizza-making class into pure magic. Luigi’s infectious energy and masterful tips on perfect Neapolitan dough had us laughing through every stretch and toss, while his wife’s gentle guidance on sauces and toppings made novices like us feel like pros. We left with full bellies, recipes etched in memory, and a craving for an encore—unforgettable!
