03/09/2025: I honestly don't think this place is worth the hype. After reading so many good reviews we booked a lunch there. The reservation was not necessary because the place was absolutely empty. We had tartare and beetroot tartare and then pasta with truffles and pasta with yellow tomatoes (this was absolutely the worst of the dishes we ordered). Menu seemed interesting but all the dishes we had were just mediocre, nothing special, they lacked the twist, flavour, the taste was very boring. All of them required additional seasoning. So we left disappointed. I don't see how this place could get Michelin recommendation, maybe it changed a lot since then? We had plenty of better meals in Tuscany. Yet this place is more expensive than most of the places in the area. On the good note, the stuff was nice and very attentive. Overall, I think you can easly skip this place if you are in the area and look for something else.

12/08/2025: Second time here, last week of July, we were disappointed with the mixed grill, where the tuna was chewy and the cuttlefish was burnt. The service was friendly. The wine list was about 20% higher than advertised on their website.

01/08/2025: A special and well-kept place not far from home. Very welcoming and cheerful staff, never overbearing. Excellent menu, requiring some strategy, a menu that makes you want to return to try everything. We had the tartare, the octopus salad, and the seared tuna (my least favorite, but for my personal taste, I found it a bit overcooked). Very balanced flavors and even unexpected and interesting pairings. We were greeted with a selection of breads, to be savored with excellent olive oil. The fish-based sandwiches were also very interesting and very reasonably priced. I returned and continued to discover other dishes, all always very carefully prepared and well-balanced in flavor. This time I tried the pasta with amberjack and bottarga (sublime), I discovered that pasta with clams doesn't require you to get your hands dirty with the shells, I couldn't resist the seared prawn with sweet potato cream (it was addictive), and the berry tartlet with lemon cream, which had me walking on clouds. Honestly, I asked myself, "How do you get it all right?" Passion, craftsmanship, and so much customer care. Thank you for existing.

10/07/2025: A very nice little restaurant. It's tucked away in a small alley, in a lovely courtyard. We had focaccia, homemade lemonade, and a non-alcoholic craft beer. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. If you're in Brixen, you have to go here!

30/08/2025: Old-fashioned trattoria, but excellent food, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere. Recommended!

03/08/2025: Me and my girlfriend arrived late evening on a Sunday and found this pearl! They stayed open when we arrived, the last dinner guest had already left. Best food so far on our trip in Italy. The balsamico meat was amazing and so tender! Also amazing service!!! Our waiter was so kind and made the whole experience a 10/10. If you want to eat some authentic Italian food with the best local service go here🌟

27/07/2025: The meat is spectacular, the mushrooms are good, the place is good, quality comes at a price... it's better to spend a little more and eat well than to save 20 euros and eat rubbish.

11/08/2025: A restaurant right in the city center with just a few tables, but truly excellent service and high-quality seafood. The only drawback is the soundproofing, which makes it difficult to have a conversation without raising your voice.

11/08/2025: It's been a while since I've been to Ninin. The atmosphere is always delightful, as are the girls serving. Unfortunately, I think it's lost a lot of its quality. I had a pistachio croissant and a zabaglione one, both of which were tasty, but putting about a teaspoon of filling on a croissant that's about a foot tall for €3 is definitely excessive. The dough isn't crispy on the outside either. I'm sorry.

14/08/2025: Best restaurant in Domodossola. We visited twice, enjoying the 6-course menu once and the à la carte menu once. The fish dishes are extremely good and perfectly balanced. The service is very attentive and friendly. Plus, you have a fantastic view of the city and the surrounding mountains from the terrace. My only minor criticism: I had a rack of lamb, which was unfortunately cooked thoroughly and not medium. For dessert, I had the "Chocolate Trilogy." I found the chocolate mousse too dense. Furthermore, the layering of dark, light, and white chocolate wasn't well thought out. I would have preferred the exact opposite, starting with white chocolate and then working toward the more bitter flavors at the end. But these minor criticisms don't justify a point deduction, so they still deserve full marks. And a tip for other guests: Stick to the chef's core competency, which is clearly fish!
