11/05/2025: Last night 5/10/2025 I went to the Bar Roma ice cream shop side, I kindly asked for a hazelnut cup and a girl gave me hazelnut with pistachio. when I told her that I hadn't asked for pistachio she didn't apologize but continued to reiterate and slam the cup twice on the counter. since he only removed the pistachio from the cup I was left with pistachio residues and I couldn't eat it even after paying for it. this is not the first time she has responded like an arrogant grump, in fact a few weeks before the girl was at the entrance to the door without doing anything, we asked for a yogurt and she is there done by constantly boasting and even answering us badly. the other employees are all nice and the delicious ice cream, too bad that for this girl and the way she treats customers I won't go there anymore.

21/06/2025: The restaurant has a few tables inside (very close to each other, moreover) but many more outside, in summer it is more pleasant to be outside. You can take individual dishes or the menu: menu with a large salad plate, savory pie and drink €12, menu with a small salad plate with savory pie and drink €9 or menu with pizza. You can make up the salad with everything that is on the counter until you fill the bowl (small or large). It is self-service so they do not serve at the table and you also have to clear the table yourself. If you want, they will heat up the savory pie in the microwave, the rest are dishes that are mainly eaten cold.

30/05/2025: very nice and tender meat! we tried four different kinds of the grill main dishes and a tortellini ragu. all were great! also the staff were kind and attentive. the location was quiet unique and hard to reach. the interior was a little bit gore.

19/06/2025: Locale semplice e servizio perfetto. Il cibo una garanzia! Abbiamo privato vari piatti: caponata, pasta con le sarde, matriciana di tonno, pasta al ragu di polpo, ...tutto buonissimo. Forse suggeirei meno aglio nel pesto alla trapanese ma solo per quieto vivere postcena 🤣

20/06/2025: Simone was an absolute delight. We had a beautiful layed back no rush lunch. Food had exquisite flavours of typical tuscan cousine. Wine was picked by Simone, the owner and it was perfect. Dinner was a festival of flavours again, all home made and to highest standards. To echo the street festival hapening outside. Service was suffisticated and professional. Thank you guys. You made our experience unique and unparalleled. The irish family from Cork.

22/06/2025: We arrived relatively late, but we were seated without any issues. For the four of us, we ordered a variety of meals, and every dish was fantastic! The standout dishes were the fillet steak with ricotta and truffles, and the pork cheek and leek pasta. The menu focuses on local food and drinks, featuring fresh ingredients that you can truly taste! During our week around Lake Garda, this was our favorite restaurant. It’s a shame we only discovered it on my final day.

19/05/2025: I came across this place thanks to the positive reviews...it's all true. The owner Raffaele "Skizzo" (and his friends) make you feel immediately at ease. The food and cocktails are really quality (try the livellanza). Going to Varese without stopping at Balthazar is like visiting the city and not climbing the sacred mountain ;)

28/06/2025: We found our restaurant. A chic restaurant. The food is really good. The welcome is warm and the decor is tasteful. When we place our order again, the receptionist greets us with a smile. The wait is short. The pasta and pizza are very rich in cheese, and with the wine, it's even more delicious. We'll be back for my birthday.

Prices are slightly above average, but I find the quality and experience worth it. A solid choice for excellent food, serious wine, and genuine hospitality in Rome.

11/06/2025: Skipping the secondary points, I'll share my point of view about the dishes we ordered: one starter (Millefoglie) and two main courses (Ravioli with spinach and ricotta, and Fettuccine with truffles). They were all delicious – the ravioli came out on top. As for the desserts, the Torta Nera and the Tiramisú were simply perfect. I have not had a better tiramisu than this one since. I am sure this was the best restaurant we visited during our five-day trip to Rome. Regarding the prices, I think they are fair considering the quality of the food, the service, the location etc. Finally, I want to thank Anna Goldman (youtuber) for this tip and others about Rome.
