04/04/2025: Very friendly, everything was very good and always fresh, cool atmosphere, very good location. Coming here for a cappuccino or a snack when I'm in Verona, even several times a day, is just as much a part of it as the Arena, for example. 👍

08/04/2025: What a wonderful surprise! On the way between Ostuni and Monopoli, we stop for lunch at Taverna Da Maurizio. The boss Maurizio welcomed us there with elegance and human warmth. The restaurant room is friendly, bright and comfortable. Note that the tables are set with cloth tablecloths and napkins. The menu is rich in Italian specialties cooked to perfection. The service is efficient, attentive and discreet. Maurizio speaks perfect French, which will be appreciated by French speakers. All the ingredients come together to recommend this address. So, enjoy!

07/04/2025: We are a five-a-side football team that ate lunch and dinner at Maurizio's for three days. Despite our particular menus for the type of restaurant, everything was truly excellent, the food felt like it was truly of high quality and expressive. The service has always been excellent and super fast. Absolutely highly recommended restaurant, a stop here is a must, you're on the safe side!!!

25/12/2024: Christmas lunch. I hadn't booked, as I was passing through, but the owner found me a place (there were 3 of us) rating 10 for the welcome and the service. The food deserves praise, ravioli (with duck) excellent, lasagne and spectacular cheese and egg meatballs. Regular price considering the holiday....highly recommended

04/12/2024: The location of the restaurant is really impressive - you have a beautiful view of the valley floor and can enjoy the view. As soon as you enter you are warmly greeted by the boss, with a personal handshake and a few friendly words. You immediately feel welcome and are assigned a nice table. The menu is small but fine, with a selection of regional products and a wide range of wines. The boss takes the time to explain the dishes in detail and also recommends the right wine - a wonderful addition, especially since the restaurant has its own winery with first-class wines. The starter was excellent: light, perfectly seasoned and, in combination with the side dishes, not only a visual but also a culinary delight. The main course, especially the meat, was subtly seasoned and harmonious. Finally, I couldn't resist and tried the homemade plum ice cream with a delicious chocolate cake - a real highlight! I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.

28/12/2024: I was with my family for the first time at the "il Pozzo e il Pepe" restaurant for Christmas lunch 2024, what can I say, a very characteristic and welcoming place, the service was fabulous!! The friendly and professional staff, live music and the food was delicious, we were all literally satisfied!! The menu was very particular and above all not the usual menu that most restaurants offer for Christmas lunch, the wine was very good! The very professional chef Ivan Iovine approached the table at each course to explain how the dish had been prepared! In short, everything was perfect!! Super recommended!! A+++

05/02/2025: Excellent cuisine, from starters to desserts, not banal and well prepared. The starter carpaccio has a strong personality, perhaps too much for delicate palates, but the accompanying sweet mayo is an interesting contrast. On the contrary, the spaghetti alla guitar with prawn steak is very delicate and enveloping, overall very pleasant. Maybe a twist, like lemon zest or a crunchy part, would have made them unforgettable. To close, a truly delicious apple galette and, this one, absolutely perfect. Attentive and fast (but not hasty) service. I will definitely be back!

16/03/2025: Scoperto per caso, questo ristorante consente di immergersi in un'atmosfera fatta di sorrisi, cordialità, attenzione per il cliente e passione per il cibo. A un prezzo decisamente competitivo, è possibile provare qualcosa di nuovo con un menù fisso molto vario. I bellissimi sorrisi della proprietaria e di suo figlio in sala fanno poi la differenza. Sicuramente torneremo.

24/03/2025: A wonderful discovery! A well-prepared and tasty vegan menu, impressive value for money. We ate Italian-style bamboo shoots, orecchiette with nettles and cocoa beans (the veg grated cheese to pair with them was so good), yuba tagine and a red fruit and elderberry tart. The staff is very welcoming and we will definitely be back!

26/03/2025: Enchanting place doesn't feel like being in Rome! I was pleasantly welcomed, as if I had always gone there, but instead it was the first time. Very high quality food, spectacular risotto and very good cauliflower, very original desserts, very good drinks and a wide choice of dry or sweet flavours. The music obviously played its part and warmed up the atmosphere! We will definitely be back. Thank you
