22/10/2024: Il ristorante è ubicato all’interno di una bellissima ed elegante struttura alberghiera, che purtroppo non ci ha consentito di pernottare in quanto fossimo accompagnati da una piccola cagnolina di meno di 2kg.. Fortunatamente entrata al ristorante. (nel suo trasportino) Una serata molto particolare, una cena che desideravamo da tempo. Abbiamo optato per una degustazione MY SIGNATURE, composta da 9 portate a dir poco deliziose. Tra le portate in primis senza dubbio, le Eliche cacio e pepe con ricci di mare. Mia moglie ha preferito un Risotto alla robiola di bufala, alloro, fave di cacao, fichi bianchi del Cilento e melograno. Cottura perfetta per il Piccione con salsa di fegato grasso d’oca, carpaccio di fichi bianchi e alici di menaica. Queste le portate che ci hanno particolarmente entusiasmato, ma devo dire che è stato tutto perfetto. Per finire il Soufflé al cioccolato con gelato ai fichi secchi, salsa al cioccolato e liquore di finger lime. Struttura molto curata, personale altamente qualificato e cortese. Complimenti a chi rende tutto questo perfetto.

29/03/2025: Totally inconvenient and unprepared for customer service! In short, we called to make a reservation for 7pm, and they told us right away that the table would be open from 7pm to 9pm, and we said ok! On the day of the reservation, they called to confirm and told us again that the table would be open from 7pm to 9pm! When we got there, I sat down, and believe it or not, they told us again that it was open from 7pm to 9pm! We ordered a pizza to go at 8pm, and when it was 8:20pm the waitress came to tell us that we should wait for the pizza to go, standing at the counter, because it would take a while to come out because there were other pizzas in front of us! A child would know that if I had to leave at 9pm, as they said three times, I should put my pizza out first, as a priority! However, all of this was the waiters communicating, but the manager didn't have the courage to come to the table and say anything! Annoying, inconvenient situation that was completely easy to resolve.

15/02/2025: Back for the second time. I really appreciate this place for the choice to use short and direct supply chain products. Mostly Ligurian, including garlic (from Vessalico)! Organic meat It happens that things are missing from the menu because, by sourcing from small local companies that do not produce in industrial quantities, they quickly run out. They are very competent Even the wine list...many are very local and particular, then, to please everyone, there is no shortage of "foreign" ones. The same goes for beers. Yesterday I tasted an excellent Happy Strong Ale from the Busalla Brewery, so tasty that it seemed like an almond had been added to it! The desserts are homemade And the informal but classy environment. I really like it and a strong motivation to come back again and again is listening to the explanations of the very kind and knowledgeable owner who provides precious and detailed information on everything served! Thanks to him I discovered that IPA beer has the peculiarity of a high hop content which was used, thanks to its natural preservative properties, by the English for long ship journeys to satisfy the demand in India during Colonialism. The meat is very good, I prefer pure meat without contamination from various sauces. Even the vegetables are special! You can also choose to opt for an aperitif with tastings of cured meats, Ligurian cakes, etc.

19/03/2025: Gestori gentilissimi, per un mese ho frequentato la trattoria e mi sono trovata in un ambiente accogliente, come in famiglia Cucina ottima, sia pesce che carne...io ho apprezzato molto il baccalà con la polenta e il roastbeef alla carsolina Un particolare ringraziamento alla signora titolare del locale per il rapporto umano, che non è scontato, e che instaura con i suoi clienti...

24/03/2025: Spectacular restaurant in the Porta di Roma area, highly recommended point the first courses that are brought directly to the pans. Prices a little higher than average, but justified by the very generous portions. Highly recommended

14/04/2025: Dined here twice on our 4 day trip, got in early around 6pm , great little spot. Got pizza and ravioli both were perfect, good pricing and nice wine. Desserts lovely too. Staff service very good, all friendly and good english, will be back!

10/04/2025: Great Restaurant, the seafood pasta was amazing, and so was the Salami pizza that we ordered. Atmosphere was great. It’s a very nice and tiny restaurant in a very busy area. Highly recommended, it’s not very expensive either, we paid €55 for three dishes and drinks.

13/02/2025: There aren't many places around Treviso that offer brunch; Caffelarte is one of these and it does so in a refined, elegant, but far from formal environment. You order à la carte and the variety of courses is wide, both in terms of savory and sweet, with the typical brunch dishes (pancakes, eggs and bacon etc.) to which are added revisited Italian dishes, such as carbonara with puffed macaroni. The variety of drinks is also good with lots of fruit as a base, although there is a lack of American-style coffee, which should be there in a brunch. The service is professional, although not very empathetic and sometimes distracted. The price is good: taking 2/3 courses you spend around 25 euros each. 29/09/2024: Seems simple at first glance. The service is friendly and very good. On both of our visits, the food (pizza and pasta) was prepared quickly and delicious.

17/09/2024: The restaurant has a high rating, but we don't understand why. Although the food was delicious - fettuccine ragu and Quatro formaggi pizza - but visiting the toilet is like from prehistoric times 😷There is only one toilet and it is shared by all guests! The plastic bowl was dirty and the premises were tiny 👎🏻 Terrible conditions🤢

04/11/2024: Every time we celebrated an event we chose our friends, Riccardo and Domenico, who have never disappointed us. Research, professionalism, quality and a family environment make the Ottagono one of the best restaurants where you can spend a wonderful day, especially in summer with the wonderful garden and the super beautiful gazebo ♥️
