21/05/2026: This was the second time we had pizzas here and it was good again! Now the staff was different than last time, but the service was nice again. No information from the hotel.

09/04/2026: Our group tried several dishes here, including seafood, lasagna, pizza, and pasta. Unfortunately, we would not recommend the seafood at all—the fish we received was overcooked and burnt. The pizza and lasagna were decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The service was good and the staff were polite and attentive, which we appreciated. That said, while the overall experience was okay, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend the food.

09/06/2026: This restaurant deserves a full pass, but no more. The problem is that in Negrar, that's all there is. Tasty dishes, but the prices are a bit higher than the ambiance.

02/06/2026: We ate excellent Amarone rice with some good Valpolicella wine. The atmosphere was quiet and very clean, with fast and professional service. Recommended.

17/05/2026: Super friendly service! Not pushy like in some other restaurants in Italy. The waiters waited until everyone had finished eating and didn't clear your plate as soon as you'd finished your last bite, still holding your cutlery. The food was delicious; we had fish and pasta. Excellent value for money, better than right at the main promenade. The view was fantastic, right on the lake! Definitely recommended!

13/07/2026: The food is like other restaurants in the area, but when we got the bill the waiter said "service is not included" in an attempt to force a tip. Of course he didn't get it after that statement. Waiters in the EU get normal wages, and the attempt to pawn the guests is the reason for one star.

10/07/2026: Very good food, really delicious, you can leave your bikes on the side, very nice service, carbonara & pizza, I recommend it, and they have large fans with water mist, so it works great on hot days

11/07/2026: The restaurant is cute, overlooking the water, and the atmosphere and ambiance are lovely. I can't say the same about the food, because the ribs I ordered really made me sick. They were fatty and greasy, with no meat and just sauce. Unfortunately, both my girlfriend and I, who only tasted them, used the bathroom that night, and let's just say that didn't help us leave a good memory of the place. The staff is also friendly, and the service is quite quick.

11/07/2026: Wonderful experience. I was here with a friend and it was a perfect evening. We sat at a table with a truly picturesque lake view, with the cool breeze typical of the lake making the atmosphere fantastic. We had two appetizers and two fish courses with a glass of wine and water for €40 per person. The fish was fresh with carefully selected seasonings, beautifully presented and not greasy or heavy, but cooked just right. The waiters are very good, attentive, polite, and friendly. They bring you homemade bread on a cutting board with a knife to cut it, thus personalizing the experience. The convenience of booking online is a plus! Truly excellent, we'll do it again! Thank you!

31/05/2026: Had a delicious meal for a good price. Spaghetti ala scolio, spaghetti vongole, and grilled brandino are highly recommended. Friendly service on a charming little square.

04/04/2026: The pizza was very good, but the cover charge was very high. When we ordered three pizzas to share, they charged €1.50 per pizza to cut them in half. A bit cheeky, otherwise a good experience.

04/07/2026: Everything was exceptional! I had lunch with a group during an organized trip and the menu was delicious, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the outdoor space was well-organized. The location is perfect for groups. I'd say TOP 🔝 Highly recommended.

18/11/2025: My dad and I went to this restaurant on a November afternoon. All the other restaurants in the area were closed due to the off-season, so we decided to try this one, simply because it was open. We travel frequently and have tried many different restaurants and cuisines, and this is honestly one of the worst we've ever been to. The man working there insisted the food was fresh, as if we couldn't tell the difference. Everything was completely bland. The raw salmon tasted like it had been defrosted after sitting in the freezer for too long. No amount of salt or pepper could cover the unmistakable aftertaste of low-quality ingredients. They even said they would close for the season in a few days and were out of stock on most of the menu items—so it's no surprise they weren't investing in fresh ingredients for their final days of opening. Every single thing we ordered ranged from unpalatable to completely flavorless to bitter. But nothing was as bitter as the waiter's attitude. He was incredibly rude. When we went to pay, he handed us the bill without even looking at us—no words, no glances, not even the slightest gesture of kindness or respect. A truly cheerful guy who definitely enhanced the experience. Don't set foot in this place unless your standards are really, really low.

10/10/2025: Best pizza in Malcesine! I had the mascarpone e crudo pizza! It was fantastically good and huge! The service was very friendly. I'm still dreaming about this pizza and looking forward to my next visit.

19/05/2026: We were completely disappointed and absolutely cannot understand the many positive reviews. For the "Fish Platter with King Prawns," I was asked which side dish I would like. Naturally, one assumes that a side dish offered is included. Among the options were fried potatoes – however, we only realized on the bill that these were suddenly charged at an additional €6. This hadn't been mentioned at all beforehand. If a side dish isn't included in the price, this should be clearly communicated. We find this misleading. Even more disappointing: The dish is called "Fish Platter with King Prawns." However, I was served only prawns – no fish. If a dish is described as a fish platter, one expects fish on the plate. Otherwise, the dish should simply be renamed. In my opinion, this is simply setting the wrong expectations for the customer. The fried potatoes themselves unfortunately bore little resemblance to proper fried potatoes – more like small pieces of boiled potatoes, briefly fried in oil, very dry, and without any particular preparation. Overall, the value for money was an absolute disaster. In addition, some of the dishes at our table were missing ingredients that were explicitly stated to be included. When we pointed this out, they initially tried to explain that these ingredients were supposedly already there. Only later were they reluctantly provided. Instead of responding in a customer-oriented manner, we got the impression that our comments were seen as a nuisance. Things got particularly unpleasant afterward: Once the situation was resolved, staff members talked about us behind our backs and gossiped about us—so loudly that it could be heard across several tables. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and disrespectful to paying customers. As the evening progressed, the staff became noticeably less friendly. This impression was even reinforced the next day when we happened to walk past the restaurant: One of the waiters pointed at us and was clearly talking about us with a colleague. After the previous day's experiences, this left a very negative impression. We also noticed that almost all the tables around us received a bread basket—except for ours. This might seem like a minor issue on its own, but unfortunately, combined with the rest of the experience, it fits the overall picture. Overall, a very disappointing visit – not just because of the food, but especially because of the way guests were treated. We definitely won't be back.

18/05/2026: I also cannot understand the positive reviews here. The pizza wasn't as ordered; it was missing ingredients listed on the menu. The waiter was very unfriendly and initially claimed everything was fine. Only after pointing it out twice was the pizza finally finished with the missing toppings. The waiters were very loud about it, so the other guests could hear it too. Absolutely not recommended – very unprofessional, especially if you're a family of six and want to eat there. Even two days later, the waiters were making fun of us when we walked by. There are much better ways to spend your money in Bardolino for good food. So, definitely not recommended.
