04/01/2026: Excellent 4-star L hotel in a central location in Garda, with on-site parking, a top-notch restaurant under the guidance of chef Andrea Costantini, a delicious breakfast, and attentive and caring staff, always kind and helpful, despite the stress of the impeccable and unforgettable New Year's Eve dinner. The wellness center and spa area includes a Turkish bath, two saunas at different temperatures, a herbal tea area, a relaxation area, and three pools (cold, warm, and hot water). In short, an unforgettable New Year's Eve holiday. Thank you.

02/01/2026: A fairly pretentious hotel, but rather dated and worn in many areas. Excellent service, exquisite staff. The spa area is very beautiful. However, claiming to be a 4-star superior hotel, many aspects need improvement: Breakfast, the desserts, are paltry and not very good. Room decor is completely lacking, a small welcome, and even the bathroom is lacking. The carpet is perhaps the worst part, stained and worn in many places. As for the restaurant, there's a mix of light and shade, but perhaps we didn't understand the philosophy.

04/01/2026: Food was disappointing. Very much. Foie gras is served with a slice of very strong blue cheese that destroys its taste, and non-cooked (non-braised) raw pear cuts. Lobster and shrimp (main dish) was a disaster. It had no taste, cold, served with slices of cheapest “plastic” raw cherry tomatoes and raw carrots. (If cherry tomatoes are of good quality, sweet and grilled, they can give a really good taste to a sauce for fish or crustaceans) Hardly ate less than half of the portion and sent the dish back. Moreover, when i asked for a glass of Franciacorta, a seemingly unexperienced guy just poured remaining of someone’s bottle into my glass (like a 80 grams) and took off. I had to ask another waiter to serve a proper glass, which is supposed to be charged for full price. Not worth visiting. Really. From my experience.

11/01/2026: Embarrassing experience. They accepted more reservations than they could handle. We had reservations for 13 people on Saturday at 8:00 PM. They only took our drink orders after about twenty minutes. Two beers didn't arrive until three reminders later. They only let us order pizzas at 8:50 PM, saying the upstairs dining room was full and they'd serve that first, for some unknown reason, given that we'd reserved for 8:00 PM, and certainly not just to get a table. When we finally got to order, they told us they'd run out of STANDARD DOUGH, so we were forced to choose between whole wheat and Neapolitan. Later, we were told that two standard doughs had appeared, so two of us would have to swap their Neapolitan dough for the standard one. They don't make baby pizzas. It was 9:10 PM. The pizzas finally arrived after an hour and a quarter, along with the two slices we'd ordered. Too bad they'd gotten the cooking time wrong. Despite all this, the waiters did their best. The place was packed. On a positive note, the price is more than fair, and there's a playroom for children. Ambience: Very noisy Parking: Small, inadequate for the number of seats It's a shame because we had good memories of a few years ago.

29/10/2025: We had the pleasure of enjoying our wedding dinner with family at the beautiful Le Gemme. There's only one thing to say: Bravo! It's not just about a meal – what they create here is true art. We were captivated from beginning to end and are still absolutely thrilled, even days after the wedding. The creative, magnificent, and fresh creations by Chef Andrea and the absolutely superb service from Lara are second to none. We felt completely at ease, enjoyed the breathtaking view, and are eager to take a cooking class so we can see them again. If you're visiting the beautiful Lake Garda, Torri del Benaco, Le Gemme should definitely be on everyone's list. It must also be said that the location is unique not only because of the view but also because of the incredible attention to detail. Thank you so much, Lara and Andrea! You gave us an unforgettable evening, and we can't wait to visit you again.

08/01/2026: I don't usually review everything, but it feels right in this case. We popped into the bar for a quick lunch, thinking of grabbing a quick sandwich or salad, and we discovered a gem! A lovely interior, a wonderful terrace overlooking the stunning stone bridge, the lovely, smiling, and friendly staff, the food was delicious, and the prices were very fair! I was so touched when they grated Parmesan cheese directly onto my pasta at the table—it was amazing! I recommend it to everyone who passes by!

20/10/2025: Absolutely average food, nothing special. You can find equally good or better pizzas everywhere in Malcesine.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

19/01/2026: We had a delicious and plentiful meal in a pleasant place with a lovely atmosphere. The tagliatelle with salmon and the risotto were excellent. The salads were also good. Very affordable price. Friendly service. I highly recommend it.

06/01/2026: Quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Rustic furnishings. Green park all around. Just a short walk from the center, away from the chaos... Fast service, simple but well-prepared dishes (the homemade tiramisu is excellent).

21/12/2025: Good, Only criticisms: 1. The light bulbs on the tables are too low; I hit our heads. 2. The waiter and cashier think they're the protagonists of MY story, when I was the one who discovered the dragon. 3. The quick apology when they get the bill wrong: "We changed the menu today," keep it low.

21/12/2025: Welcoming restaurant, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent and fast service. Very good food, especially the pizza, with a wide selection of flavors and toppings (never seen before). Excellent!
