We had dinner on our first night at Lake Garda at the El Refol restaurant. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We chose to sit outside because of the wonderful view, which is truly worth it. However, as night falls, many insects appear. Our drinks were full of them and we had to eat practically in a rush, so much so that we ended up giving up on dessert. Do I recommend the restaurant? Absolutely! But my tip is to choose a table inside, especially at night. We will definitely return!

We had a very nice meal here last July. Although the name might suggest otherwise, the food is definitely authentically Italian and of decent quality. The real standout is the lovely view of the lake, which makes for a very pleasant setting. While it’s in a bit of a touristy spot, we found it wasn't overpriced at all—it’s actually quite reasonably priced for such a prime location. A solid 4-star experience and a great place for a tasty, casual dinner by the water.

I went to "El Refol" today for the first time, encouraged by my parents, who are regulars. I found everything sublime, from the space to the dishes, but above all, the extremely kind, courteous, discreet, and refined staff. I think I'll be back soon. 02/01/2026: Spacious and modern rooms; we had a few initial hiccups, but they were quickly resolved. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are beautiful, with some unique features. The food was good. I would return.
02/01/2026: We stayed at Hotel Pineta on New Year's Eve. We had a wonderful time. The rooms are welcoming. The room was spacious. We really appreciated the bathroom, which is entirely covered in pink stone. The shower comfortably fits two people. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options, but the quality of the products could be improved.
