Very good food, relaxed atmosphere

Good food for the others, but I, who ordered grilled meat, was a little disappointed. They didn't ask about the doneness and what they served was unevenly cooked and a little dry.

The dishes were bland, the chicken Milanese steak looked like breaded cardboard, the pork Milanese was burnt breading, the steak raw inside. The pizzas looked like Frisbees. High price for the quality of the food.

If you're in Peschiera del Garda and looking for a casual eatery with a wide selection, La Carbonaia is definitely a good option. Although it's not in the historic center, it's still conveniently located, with the added advantage of affordable prices despite being in a highly touristy area. The restaurant's true strength is undoubtedly the variety of its menu, which ranges easily from pasta dishes to pizzas and even pucce. The house specialty, however, remains grilled meat: I tried the mixed grill and it was truly delicious, perfectly cooked and flavorful. To top it all off, the staff is exceptionally friendly, always very kind, welcoming, and attentive. If there's one small detail that's less convincing, the selection of ingredients seemed good but not always excellent, and the presentation of some dishes leaned a bit too much toward a tourist-oriented clientele (the pasta wasn't cooked perfectly, and in a first course of orecchiette and sausage, the presence of oregano was a bit too strong, overpowering the other flavors rather than enhancing them). Overall, however, the experience was more than positive thanks to the excellent value and the convivial atmosphere. A recommended choice for a pleasant, unpretentious meal.

We go often, it's a pleasure to have found a place near the center where you can eat meat 🔝 and also very good pizza 💯. No complaints about the service and the welcoming, fast, and clean environment.
