20/08/2024: I don't give 5 stars to the room only because I expected it to be as particular and characteristic as the entrance to the restaurant, but in any case the environment is refined and elegant. The impeccable service, the menu denotes attention to detail, the dishes are all truly excellent, from the tartare, to the amazing gnocchi, to the very tender and tasty Florentine steak, to the dessert... congratulations indeed!!

30/08/2024: Rimane, a mio avviso, il miglior ristorante di Verona. Una vera magia. Il menù è studiato in maniera molto minuziosa con accostamenti di sapori ed ingredienti più o meno inusuali. Il Sommelier di Sala ha sempre proposto abbinamenti validi e studiati che ho apprezzato particolarmente, non tanto nella ricercatezza del singolo vino ma soprattutto nella capacità di saper creare un accostamento memorabile anche con vini del territorio.

15/08/2024: Pro's: Good location, Ambiance inside restaurant, clean, orderly, professionally-trained staff who are quite attentive and accommodating Challenges: Food is average. I have dined at many Michelin 1 and 2 star restaurants throughout Europe. Il Desco food was very good quality, well presented and well prepared but it lacked appeal to the taste palate and thus memorability. We choose 4 courses but the 3 wine pairing option (there was no 4 wine pairing option). So, one of our wine selections by the sommelier was off: the second and third course needed a different choice for what we ordered. You would think that for nearly 140 Euros for 3 glasses of wine over the same 4 courses that the sommelier would be able to process that challenge. Would I dine here again? Probably not. Would I recommend it to others? Probably not. I would recommend other dining options in Verona.

07/08/2024: A reference restaurant when you want to eat excellent meat, I have been frequenting it for many years now (the black angus grill is recommended). The Argentine wines and liqueurs are also very good.

04/08/2024: one of the best meat restaurants ever! Elegant venue with great attention to detail, starting with the booking. excellent meat but everything else is top too. really excellent, the price is perhaps not for everyone but amply justified by the excellence. highly recommended

13/07/2024: Visited in July 2024. We could see what the kitchen was trying to do with the tasting menu, however there were gaps in the execution. Understand they earned 1 Michelin star, however we did not see the excellence that we expected come through in the dishes or ambience. Service staff was excellent. Items worth noting the restaurant was incredibly warm and the windows opened inviting flying ants in the dishes. The dishes were incredibly heavy handed with sauces overshadowing the assumed intention of the dishes. Left feeling heavy and overfull but unsatisfied with the expense and value. The wine pairing was lovely as was the sommelier and maitre d.

02/08/2024: Mein Mann und ich waren mit unserer 8 Monate alten Tochter in diesem Restaurant. Obwohl unsere Tochter nichts gegessen hat (wie auch, sie ist 8 Monate alt) mussten wir für sie die Gedeck-Gebühren zahlen. Unser Essen (Spagetti Bolognese & Carbonara) war nichts besonderes. 2 Punkte vergebe ich nur, weil das Personal wirklich sehr nett war.

10/07/2024: Savored 3 pizzas salamella capricciosa and Hercules and I must say cup a go go zero skimping and must satisfaction, relaxing and nice environment then well chosen bottled beer the Kapuziner attention to the customer then end of the meal with a latte latte in an interesting cup and saucer. Clean bathroom well cared.

31/07/2024: I had dinner with my family. We had a very good dinner, the meat was soft and delicious, the dessert was special!! We arranged for my brother-in-law's graduation party and the baptism party for my daughter. The baptism lunch was divinely organised, the room was impeccable and the food was delicious!! All guests were satisfied and happy! On the lower floor there is a playroom for children and a room for changing smaller children. Very organised. Compliments!

05/07/2024: First off the food was delicious- 4.5/5. We got the gourmet tasting menu and everything was fresh, there was a foreign object in my risotto but they remade it immediately. However, for a Michelin restaurant I was shocked by the service and atmosphere. My fiance proposed and we decided to celebrate our engagement here. He not only mentioned this while booking but also mentioned it again after we were seated. The staff did not congratulate us or provide anything complimentary, I eat fine dining often and this was definitely a shock for me. Meanwhile, they provided an entire bottle of complimentary champagne to the table next to us because of a miscommunication in their reservation. That same table next to us was yelling loudly inside the restaurant, all the other tables were glancing at them and we couldn't hear the servers because they were so loud. When we asked to switch tables the first server said no until we escalated to a manager. Again, no apologies were given and we felt like we were a burden to the restaurant when we're spending $200+ pp. Dinner started at 7 and ended at 10:40. I understand there may be different cultural norms here but we were almost falling asleep at this pacing- some courses took 40+ minutes to arrive. All in all I'm shocked this place has a Michelin. There are plenty of restaurants with great food, better service, and a much lower price point.

04/07/2024: An exceptional meal, as one would expect. Tivoli certainly met all our expectations and more with a wonderful taster’s menu of local specialties (menu del territorio) (many of which are also on the a la carte menu if the taster’s menu exceeds your appetite!) The meal began with a bang with a “pre dinner” amuse-bouche of herbed truffled potato deep fried in squid ink. Some of the highlights of the menu were a carpaccio of brook trout with caviar, a mini “ice cream cone” of beet, a “zuppe di Rana” dotted with beet, orzotto with an exquisite red pepper sorbet, and roe deer Wellington. There were a sequence of desserts starting with a deconstructed strudel, and ending with a trio of little sweets (raspberry tartlet, a variation on a macaron and a candied melon). My poorly reconstructed recollection in no way does justice to the beautifully constructed dishes, each of which was little symphony of taste, texture and temperature. We had a wine pairing with our meal, so every course came with a glass perfectly suited to its course. The wines ranged in region from a French champagne, a locally produced Chardonnay from a bourgogne varietal, a biodynamic white from Piedmont, a brunello di montalcino 2017, and more and ended with a wonderful passito di Lampedusa. The service was impeccable and highly descriptive and the staff were happy to engage in discussion and answer all our questions. Tivoli gave us a truly memorable evening in a gorgeous location. Highly recommended if you are lucky enough to get a table!

23/08/2024: I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. As a pizza enthusiast, I truly appreciate a well-crafted pizza, with the Neapolitan style being my favorite (though I can also enjoy a good New York slice). Naturally, I started with the small Bufala pizza to set a benchmark. It was unlike any pizza I've had before. The crust was partly wholegrain, maintaining the same thickness throughout, yet it was light and airy. The tomato sauce was intensely flavorful, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, and the mozzarella di bufala was of excellent quality, its distinctive buffalo milk taste clearly discernible. Next, I tried the polenta and codfish pizza, which surprised me with its presentation. The codfish and polenta had been processed into a creamy paste, which paired remarkably well with the sesame crust. While this pizza wasn’t my personal favorite due to the strong fishy taste, this is more a matter of personal preference than a reflection of the dish's quality. The highlight of the meal was the horse tartare pizza. Having never tried horse meat before, I was eager to experience it, and it did not disappoint. The horse tartare was tender, juicy, and slightly reminiscent of beef tartare, but with a subtle sweetness. Texturally, this pizza was the most intriguing of the three, with the crispy and airy wholegrain crust harmonizing beautifully with the tender horse tartare. One aspect that stood out was the meticulous attention to temperature. The pizzas never arrived piping hot but were served at the perfect temperature, ready to eat immediately without any waiting. This careful control of temperature extended to the dessert as well—the sorbet was served in a cooled ceramic bowl, which helped maintain its consistency over a longer period of time. If you’re looking for a typical pizza that adheres to traditional norms, this place might surprise you. However, if you’re open to a well-thought-out, pizza-inspired fine dining experience, this is a must-visit if you're in the area.

20/08/2024: I haven't eaten flours and cereals for 10 years, except on very rare occasions and this is one. In summary: fantastic pizza, the proposals are each more intriguing than the other. Different doughs for each type of pizza. I tried the pigeon one... amazing! Cereal dough: the use of sourdough and high quality ingredients did not lead me to have any negative effects, an indicator of quality. The service is quick, informal but attentive. The girl who served us added a bit of a personal touch to the service: I underline this because I have read negative comments about the service which were not reflected in my experience. The pizzas are offered in two sizes: small and large. The 4 of us opted for 4 small pizzas, we struggled to get to the bottom. Price more than adequate for the quality of what we ate. We will definitely be back!!!

10/08/2024: Very nice place, the shower is a little small and a chair is missing in the room. The breakfast is ok, although the bread is excellent it lacks a pistol or baguette, replace the biscuits with spreadable cheeses and perhaps one more cold meat... the staff is great and the restaurant is a delight. I recommend

04/08/2024: Compliments! Located in Vittorio Veneto, parking availability, comfortable and air-conditioned rooms, bathroom without window but large. Abundant breakfast with quality products. But the real gem is the excellent adjacent restaurant which is surrounded by the river created from an old mill. Good, refined menus and great kindness from the staff. Very good prices in relation to the quality. Wine list present but not evaluated as I am a teetotaler. Highly recommended.

10/08/2024: Un muy buen restaurante con muy buenos platos, nosotros comimos spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti al fruti di mare y ravioli rellenos de espinacas y ricota. Todo muy rico y el tiramisú de postre espectacular. Totalmente recomendable, es la segunda vez que venimos y sin duda para repetir.
