The atmosphere is welcoming and genuine, just as you would expect from a place that values ​​tradition. The staff was very kind, always attentive but never intrusive, making us feel at home. 16/02/2025: We traveled many kilometers to reach Calvi restaurant and have a different culinary experience. In fact, both my partner and I were positively impressed. Well-kept and elegant location, menu with different proposals. We ordered amberjack meatballs, soft salmon and as first courses we opted for the must from Calvi restaurant. For desserts, a flan and a tiramisu. All very good, high quality. The only flaw, the tiramisu, in my opinion very sweet. However, it is with great regret that we do not express such a positive opinion regarding the quality of the service. In addition to the 40 minute wait to order, various oversights and the difficulty in attracting the attention of the waitresses, one episode left us perplexed. A waitress was asked what the restaurant's desserts were. We were told: "those on the menu". An answer, in our opinion, unprofessional. Overall however, we would like to recommend Calvi restaurant and we will certainly return if we are in the area.

22/02/2025: D I A R R E A and feeling of vomiting! After an evening in this place, both my wife and I felt sick. We had already had a similar experience previously but we wanted to give it a further chance given the positive past. Having chosen a selection cut at €80/kg, the butcher tried to hide the view of the cut with his little hand in order to trim the back part of the piece (a return to the butchers of the 80s) wow; 400g of straccetti, 5 martinese, zampina and off we go, ready for the lower floor room. (Count 35) for any feedback. In the room, cuts on stone had been served on several tables at the same time, the room was full of smoke, so much so that it was necessary to open the doors behind it. Those sitting near the doors asked for them to be closed immediately given the temperatures. The situation was surreal. They themselves kindly recommended a table upstairs. We ate the meal with the right amount of anticipation, adding olives, ash potatoes and a dirty muss to the meat to finish. Finished quickly because the feeling of nausea and vomiting loomed large. We hastily pay €77 (there were 2 of us) and leave. Once home, the epilogue of a hellish night spent on the toilet. But what the hell did you give us to eat?

19/01/2025: Cozy place, the sandwiches and main dishes are good with excellent quality ingredients. The big flaw is the very slow service and inexperienced staff: we asked if a portion of meatballs was enough for six people and we were told there were 20 but the portion is 6 pieces and therefore excessive for the cost of €10, they forgot one of the orders, the waitresses did not know the beers available, nor the bitters.

21/12/2024: One of the best burgers in Bari, with many extra solutions for both the appetizers and the rest of the courses. Friendly and very punctual service. Highly recommended.

22/02/2025: Absolutely nothing to say about the service and the location. Everything perfect and with attention to the smallest details, very friendly and smiling staff. Until ordering everything was fine, the pizzas arrived at the table, disappointing!!!!! You can't pay 15 euros for a pizza like that... unthinkable. Not tasty at all, devoid of any taste. Dough failed. I'm very sorry because the expectations were very high with respect to the attention to detail, impeccable. This is not a criticism but a piece of advice, the place has very high potential, pay more attention to what you serve, we only took pizzas, perhaps the rest was better.

It's a question of transparency and professionalism, regardless of the food. The customer has the right to know how much the dishes offered to him cost.
