17/11/2024: One of the best dining experiences of my life! First of all, the courtesy of the staff needs to be specified, both in the way they behave and in making us feel "at home". The food EXQUISITE!!! Starting from the appetizer, grandma's fabulous meatballs... moving on to the first courses with a sauce that tasted like "grandma from the South" and the BREAD!!! An artisanal bread that allows you to make a slipper that leaves your plate clean!!!! So much so that we don't have photos of any dishes because of how good they were. If we ever return to the area, we will definitely return!!!!

18/12/2024: SPLENDID, Good quality, clean. Very pleasant employees. The center is a 20-minute walk, but we don't mind that. Beautiful oasis-like environment. We have been here before and it remains our choice when we are in Bari.

08/12/2024: It's worth it. Well located, 30 minutes walk to the center. The ideal crossing of the tracks is through the central station (train), you go down through a park and then a commercial promenade. The breakfast at the hotel is very good and the staff's attention is excellent.

26/12/2024: I ate here with my family while we were on holiday in Polignano. We went to this restaurant, primarily, because it offers gluten-free options, given that I have celiac disease. In addition to a very nice environment and kind and knowledgeable staff regarding the cuisine and service of gluten-free products, we were able to enjoy some truly excellent dishes. Recommended, absolutely.

26/12/2024: Every time a confirmation. I hadn't been to this wonderful location in Polignano for years. Amazing menu. Professional but friendly service. Great respect for the guest. What can I say? Good luck to the girls who took over the reins from their father whose humility, kindness and professionalism I had great admiration for. A round of applause to all the waiters. There will be no shortage of new opportunities to return.

22/12/2024: I like this restaurant. The atmosphere is okay-ish, little empty and there’s no one to greet you at the door, but when the hostess came and was really nice and attentive, even folded my napkin when I went to the bathroom. The food was a lot so definitely don’t eat before that, the whole experience was about 3 hours. I liked the starters but the mains was lacking which was sad :<. The desserts were okay, nothing outstanding, loved the wines and the explanation behind each. Hated the green pasta though, extremely extremely bitter ;<>

11/11/2024: In general it is an expensive restaurant, which we were aware of beforehand. The staff was super friendly and great. Food-wise it was quite ok.

07/08/2024: During our stay in Puglia I did my search for recognized restaurants in the Polignaro a Mare and Bari area. I found this Michelin recommendation from the La Bul restaurant in Bari and we were definitely delighted with the treatment of chef Antonio Scalera and his sommelier. We chose the dark and amorios tasting menus with the wine list that goes with each dish. The combination of flavors in each of the dishes was delicious. The wines , original from Puglia region, for the menu were very good . The restaurant also has an a la carte menu. We have tasted restaurants with Michelin stars in the US and Europe and this restaurant has nothing to envy them!!! It is excellent!! And the prices are very reasonable compared to prices in the US. Definitely the best food I have eaten in this area. If you are going to be in the Polignaro a Mare or Bari area, I highly recommend this culinary gem!!!

11/12/2024: passing through the streets of Bari, I immediately noticed the place from the outside. so I decided to book a table with a friend for the following day in order to try the pizza. As soon as you enter we immediately notice the rustic style of the place, which is very nice. we order the pizzas and from the looks of it everything seemed to be fine, until I tasted a chip that was on the pizza and it was completely cold, as if they had put aside the chips left over from other customers. this is not the only problem, since the mozzarella seemed like flavourless vinyl glue, but the part that we didn't like at all was the completely raw, inedible pizza dough. together with the pizza we ordered some french fries, which they forgot to bring, and so I decided to remind the waiter. he immediately enters and leaves the kitchen bringing me the lukewarm CHIPS, as if they had already been made previously waiting to be brought to some table, but we were expecting French fries and not chips. when you get to the cash register, after all the disgust, we also have to pay €30. what can I say? the best thing was only the coca cola zero. we will never return.

09/12/2024: We decided to visit this place because we’ve read about in blog. As per our opinion pizza was ok, but nothing special. We were expected more from the dough, other ingredients were good. But I think more for tourist then typical Italian one. Again I would add as per our taste and opinion Staff is very nice and friendly

15/12/2024: In centro storico a Polignano, con un'amica si cercava un posto per un pasto veloce ma di qualità. Scelta felice: abbiamo preso una combinazione di 6 antipasti di terra e di mare. Tutti davvero buoni, per 16 euro a testa. Ci siamo alzate sazie, viste le quantità. Personale cortese e servizio rapido. Consiglio!

Wonderful environment, impeccable and truly courteous service, you cannot give an opinion on the food and wine and to say perfect is almost an understatement… I found the best orecchiette with turnip greens in all of Puglia here... The heartwarming chops with sauce 🥹 that make you drop your arms to your sides and exclaim: "nooo okay..." and you can't help but make the complete slipper, you can only find them here!!! Starters, cheeses and wines... top!!! Phenomenal prices…
