19/02/2025: Conosco da tempo questo ristorante, ci sono tornata dopo qualche anno pensando di ritrovare il servizio e la qualità che ricordavo. Purtroppo è stata una delusione; prima di tutto per l’atteggiamento del titolare che per aver cambiato la richiesta della comanda fatta 5 secondi prima , sembrava essere molto scocciato , poi l’arrivo dello spaghetto con le alici scotto e insapore , infine un conto salatissimo avendo bevuto 2 calici di lugana , 1 antipasto , 1 secondo / 1 primo / 2 caffè e 1 grappa totale 94 €. Adios

31/10/2024: Buen restaurante con buena comida. Pero no es un lugar gourmand. Los muebles son viejos, y podrían tener un lifting facial. Gran lugar sobre el lago Garda. Desafortunadamente no todo el personal entiende inglés. Es un buen cambio si estás en la cima de la montaña donde no hay otros restaurantes.

26/10/2024: We dined at this restaurant and opted for the 95-euro tasting menu for each of us. The menu included three starters, two first courses, a main dish, and a dessert, with all selections needing to be the same except for the dessert. The restaurant is beautifully designed with a stunning view. The dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented. However, we encountered an issue with the main course. For the main course we both ordered the veal escalope, but to our surprise, we received only a single portion: the waitress served two plates—one with the escalope and a side dish, and the other with only the side dish. She explained that we were expected to share the escalope. However, the escalope was a single piece with a rib, suitable as a portion for one person, not for sharing. This left us feeling like we did not get one main course. This left us disappointed and fell short of our expectations for a tasting menu at this price point.

08/03/2025: Perfect place for an aperitif with friends or for a romantic dinner. With a beautiful secret garden hidden at the back of the room. Very friendly staff and always excellent food! My colleague and I often go there at the end of the work day, highly recommended!!

12/04/2025: Sono stata con amici in questo locale. A parte lo stile molto "antico", il personale è disorganizzato e non si presenta bene. Divise vecchie e rotte e poco capaci nel coordinare le uscite di cibo e bevande anche per un semplice aperitivo. Tipico locale milanese con gestione vecchia, incapace di accogliere i clienti con un sorriso e farti sentire a tuo agio. Cibo molto scarso e di scarsa qualità, con prezzi decisamente non all'altezza del servizio reso. Lo sconsiglio.

14/10/2024: Excellent value for money in this typically Piedmontese restaurant. Traditional local dishes served excellently. Tagliolini with mushrooms and a trio of super desserts! Friendly and helpful staff. Prices below average with the fixed menu.

08/04/2025: I have visited Lo Spigolo restaurant several times and each experience has been flawless. Their pizza is extraordinary: light and tasty, perfect for a dinner without feeling weighed down. I also had the pleasure of sampling the cuisine, and the seafood risotto was excellent, with well-balanced flavors and very fresh ingredients. The owner and staff stand out for their friendliness and attention to customers, making every visit even more pleasant. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a warm welcome

24/01/2025: Cogimos el ferry de Argegno a Varenna, que es bastante barato. Definitivamente necesito buenos zapatos para caminar como un montón de caminos irregulares. Solo un paisaje muy hermoso y tantos lugares agradables para almorzar. Pasamos 4-5 horas explorando. No te decepcionará Varenna.

16/04/2025: Ci accoglie un locale discreto, elegante e familiare; il servizio è professionale, accogliente, discreto, veloce. Attento ma non pressante. Il cibo è ottimo e di alta qualità: ben presentato con molto garbo. Il vitello tonnato è sottile e morbido appena velato dalla sua salsa, delicata e soffice; dopo i ravioli del Plin assaggiamo i tajarin col ragôut bianco, in dose giusta (né troppa né poca ma giusta per saziare senza eccessi). Dopo una bella scelta di dolci arrivano, non richiesti ma molto graditi, gli spumini: minuscole meringhe di zucchero e bianco d’uovo, cotte a bassa temperatura, croccanti e dal cuore morbido: una vera sorpresa. Tutto perfetto salvo il carico del “coperto”, 5 euro a persona: davvero troppi ma che si pagano volentieri considerando la qualità del cibo, la bontà del servizio e la soddisfazione.

09/03/2025: We recently went to this restaurant and, although the quality of the food was good, there were some aspects that left us perplexed. The menu is rich and the dishes lived up to expectations, with fresh and well-prepared ingredients. We really enjoyed the dishes, all tasty and well presented. However, the prices were a little higher than we expected. At the end of the meal, the bill came to 240 euros for the group, a figure we would have happily accepted considering the quality of the food. However, we were surprised by the fact that, after having spent a considerable sum, we were also charged 6 euros for a bitter at the end of the meal. I understand that they were not obliged to offer it, but after such an expense it would have been a much appreciated gesture of courtesy, which would have left a more positive memory of the experience. In summary, it is a good restaurant, but a little more attention towards customers, especially in these details, would have made everything more pleasant.

25/02/2025: One of the best hotels ever! There are many things to say but one prevails over all, the owner Mr. Fioroni. A man who will make your stay unforgettable. An artist, musician, writer, an invaluable figure, historical memory of the delightful village and in short a friend of every customer. A unique, incomparable experience, which will make you discover the true Italian culture, made of stories, music and good food. The historic place is well enhanced by the small square and the view overlooking the lake. A few meters away every service and honest prices.

05/04/2025: All very well looked after with a beautiful view. We booked part of the room for a company lunch. Great menu and very friendly staff. As in the photos we tasted everything: from the appetizer to the dessert. I particularly appreciated the fish main course and the dessert.
