31/03/2024: Started very well, service was excellent and the aperitivo was as you’d expect from a Michelin star restaurant. After our drinks the waiter came over and knelt down next to me and asked us to keep our voices down. This not only broke the good vibe of the restaurant but made us then feel incredibly uncomfortable for the next 7 courses of our meal. As a place where you go for a special occasion I was quite surprised a waiter would make this comment. I was also quite confused as we weren’t speaking loud at all. The food was okay but nothing was really wow. So would say worth a visit but be careful of raising your voice at the risk of offending the waiter.

Let's say that I don't expect it from restaurants of this level, but I notice that it is still common practice to do so. Sin!

18/02/2024: My family and I had a Sunday lunch at this Romagna cuisine restaurant. The environment is rustic and welcoming, typical of a trattoria. We ordered a mixed starter of crostini. The variety was good, but we weren't particularly impressed with the flavor. For the first courses, we chose tagliatelle with ragù and gnez (homemade pasta made from polenta) with beans. The noodles were good. The gnez, however, were a little too salty and the bean cream covered the flavor of the pasta. For second courses, we had some cuts and grilled meat. The meat was good and the grilled portion was generous. To accompany the second courses, we ordered dip, gratin and grilled vegetables. The service was fast and efficient. Maybe a little too "present" and pressing in wanting to clear the dishes. Prices are normal for a restaurant that offers Romagna cuisine. If you are looking for a restaurant serving Romagna cuisine with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere, this place is a good choice.

28/03/2024: Extremely aesthetic restaurant in the center of Brescia. A well-kept environment with architectural and furnishing details that truly leave you speechless. The restaurant is beautiful, beautiful in fact, and there's no doubt about that. The kitchen offers a mainly fish-based menu, although there are also some land-based options. We ate fish and the quality of the raw materials was really excellent. In general, however, I found both the service and the dishes themselves very pretentious and with a truly unbalanced quality-price ratio. Good raw fish, but decidedly limited in quantity, at €35. I appreciated the fish but not the banal mayonnaise with which it was served. The tuna Florentine, on the other hand, was excellent but my paccheri with lobster were absolutely anonymous and so al dente that I struggled to chew them. The wine list is beautiful and good value for money. On an evening with two tables occupied, the service was, in my opinion, distracted, slightly clumsy and certainly not up to the standard of the place and above all of the bill you pay.

Unfortunately many dishes did not convince us and do not justify the very high prices, neither for the quality of the dish (like the fried fish) nor for abundance (especially on the starters with all the goodies, for €18-20 list price I would have expected definitely more). Overall it's sufficient but given the prices I wouldn't return.

02/04/2024: The disappointment of the Easter lunch.... from start to finish... only the waitress deserved to get up and leave... and let's not talk about the dishes... cold without refreshment without bread and I could say more... I had high expectations given that I have known the restaurant for at least 20 years but this time they absolutely had to be cancelled

31/03/2024: A very pleasant discovery: in a very well-kept location in an old farmhouse we enjoyed a menu with delicious and varied food and wine options. The ravioli stuffed with trout and the crispy suckling pig are worthy of mention. More than excellent experience.
