03/05/2026: Given the beautiful day, my family and I decided to have lunch by the lake. We ordered Margherita pizzas and a salad. The first was packed with mozzarella, very "touristy," the second with olives still pitted. Well, we weren't entirely satisfied... the location was a saving grace.

15/04/2026: A superb experience! Sabino, a true Basque, welcomes you with rare kindness and helpfulness. In the kitchen, chef Marivi prepares authentic traditional flavors: exquisite Galician-style octopus and garlic-sautéed gambas, followed by a rich and flavorful Valencian paella. All this was accompanied by a fabulous sangria that made the dinner special from start to finish, topped off with an excellent crema catalana. If you're looking for authentic Basque cuisine in a genuine setting, this is the place. Highly recommended!

12/08/2025: Pizzeria San Martino, a few steps from my house and somewhat hidden, is nevertheless well-known in the area. In the first two or three years after opening, it stood out for its attention to every detail: a tidy place, impeccable service, and consistently excellent pizza. After a few years, the quality of the pizza has remained extremely high—truly among the best—as has the service and the welcoming, pleasant atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the outdoor area. During nights and on days when it's closed, the terrace becomes a place of passage and rest for people who leave it in a shabby condition, significantly degrading its overall image. This unfortunately takes away from the place's charm, to the point that, even when it reopens at the end of the summer, those who pass by during these weeks are unlikely to have a good impression. My advice is to consider permanently removing the terrace and replacing it with a well-kept and striking entrance: two tall, elegant candles, or two slender, well-kept flowerpots, perhaps with a nice rug at the entrance. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, but the current exterior risks putting off customers. It would be a shame not to take action, given the excellent quality of the cuisine.

The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, perfect for both a quiet dinner and a special occasion. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always attentive to the guests' needs, without ever being intrusive. The service was fast and well-organized. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and elegantly presented. The quality and passion behind the cuisine shine through in every course. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. This is definitely a place I'll return to and one I'd recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

The atmosphere is lovely, the service is prompt and friendly, and the price is reasonable for the location. I tried a very good Chiaretto Spritz, but I also enjoyed the pizzas I ordered. Pet-friendly.

10/04/2026: At first glance, it looks like an amusement park, and it can even be fun. Then, looking at the menu, it seemed very varied, with many burgers, meat dishes, and other tasty things. Unfortunately, the place, which is large, only had one waiter, who, after a really long time when he approached us for our order (apologizing), told us that we would have a long wait for the food. We told him not to worry, it was clear that it wasn't his fault, and we left. It's a shame, we know that staff are scarce these days, but at least the woman at the cash register could have helped out instead of just sitting around doing nothing.

21/10/2025: We tried some traditional dishes, which we found to be good. The atmosphere was quiet, and the prices were moderate and appropriate for the amount consumed.

17/10/2025: Very average. Empty place with too loud jazz music. Lots of plastic. It wants to give the impression of an upscale restaurant, but it's only average. Good pasta. Secondi not well prepared. Dried fish and tagliata are better in any trattoria. Zucchini burnt on the plate. Service nice, but sometimes disappeared for half an hour. Room for improvement.

10/05/2026: We tried almost everything — pizza, calamari, steak, potatoes, pasta, and wine. Overall, the flavors were nice and the steak was cooked properly and tasted good. What disappointed us was mainly the pricing compared to the portions. Paying almost €30 for a steak that came completely alone without any sides already felt excessive, and then we ordered fries separately and received literally just a handful for €5. That definitely affected the overall experience and value for money. The experience itself was pleasant and the food was decent, but in the end we were not particularly excited or impressed. It’s an okay place, but for the prices we expected more.
