02/01/2026: I attended the New Year's Eve brunch at the Acanto del Principe di Savoia restaurant and it was a truly outstanding experience. The cuisine was excellent, the menu refined, and the ingredients were top-quality. The service was impeccable, elegant, and consistently attentive. The atmosphere is sophisticated and perfectly in keeping with the prestigious location. The only small aspect that could be improved was the management of the welcome and the queues to enter the dining room, which at times made the welcome a bit less fluid. Overall, an absolutely positive experience and highly recommended.

02/03/2026: Traumatizing experience at SA Milano tonight! Regular customer at other locations and wanted to try the original restaurant. Food and service was as expected from SA, but there was another patron that was shockingly over-served and ended up vomiting in the corner of the room while staff looked on and watched for over five minutes before finally escorting him to a bathroom. He was sitting at a table of five near me when I arrived and became increasingly louder over the course of the evening. He was so loud that his fellow party members asked him to quiet down repeatedly and reminded him that there were other patrons. He started yelling loudly at his sister on multiple occasions, cursing loudly, calling her a profanities and telling her to stop talking. Finally, he stood up from the table abruptly and walked to the corner of the room, where he starting retching repeatedly and spitting up into a napkin. Staff were very attentive asking him if he needed anything, but at no time did they try to remove him from the dining room where he was making an incredible spectacle of himself. I asked my server for the bill and noted that I wanted to get out before the situation with this gentleman deteriorated further. I paid my bill and when leaving, I saw the manager by the door and said that I have never witnessed something like that in a fine dining establishment in my life and I needed to leave. All he said was something to the effect of “yes, it is unfortunate.” All in all, I believe management was irresponsible in their service of this gentleman with respect to his alcohol consumption given that he was obviously inebriated. Also, I felt that they could have removed him from the room, so that other patrons did not have to listen to him wretch for quite so long.

23/02/2026: I'm sorry to have to write this review, especially since I've always appreciated the quality of the pizza, which I consider truly excellent and which has led me to frequent the restaurant on several occasions. Unfortunately, however, I cannot ignore what I personally witnessed regarding hygiene and food safety management. In particular, I witnessed with my own eyes a scene that I consider extremely serious: a bitter liqueur served at the table, half drunk by the customer, was not thrown away but returned, and the remaining portion was returned to the bitter liqueur freezer, presumably to be reused for another customer. Such behavior, besides being ethically unacceptable, violates the most basic food safety standards and seriously calls into question the respect for customer health. Added to this are other incidents, such as hair on plates, which unfortunately reinforce the perception of poor hygiene. I'm truly sorry to write this, because the pizza deserves it, but the quality of the product cannot compensate for such serious shortcomings in food safety management. I sincerely hope that management will carry out the necessary checks and intervene concretely.

23/03/2026: I normally never leave reviews, but this was one of the worst places I've ever been. Our pasta arrived cold. The female employee acted like she was going to beat us up. It doesn't even deserve one point.

01/03/2026: We stayed here as a couple with a small child. Some friends booked us a room here. It was an absolutely negative experience. The room was filled with the smell of cooking from the restaurant downstairs. My wife slept upstairs with sheets that smelled of sweat and found a bedbug. The bathroom was full of cobwebs. I slept downstairs, and unfortunately, I find it unhygienic to sleep without sheets but only with a duvet, especially when it's obviously not clean. Absolutely negative experience.

14/01/2026: I went last night for the first time and it will also be the last. The starters and meat were good, the fish main courses inedible. We didn't even eat one of three different courses. What surprised me was that when it came to the bill, knowing that the three courses were brought back whole and they had asked why, and we kindly explained why, they didn't have the good sense to discount those dishes. We paid for everything in full without comment, but it will be the first and last time. An experience not to be repeated.

25/01/2026: I've been in Milan for many years, but I'd never been there. I spent my birthday night here and had a wonderful time. Beyond the delicious food, Tano is a person of rare competence, intelligence, and empathy (I've never seen such enthusiasm in haute cuisine contexts). I could have stayed talking to him for hours! Every detail is meticulously crafted, every dish tells a story and conveys something unique. The cuisine is pure magic: every course amazes, excites, and captivates. Just when you think you've tasted the best dish, the next one arrives and manages to surpass it. Balanced flavors, sophisticated pairings, and a presentation that makes each dish even more special. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service attentive and sincere, making you feel pampered from start to finish. It's one of those places where time seems to stand still and where every moment is enjoyed. A special thank you to the owner for the wonderful evening he gave us and our friends. It was an intense, authentic, and unforgettable experience, one we'll carry with us as a wonderful memory. The owner is attentive and courteous. The prices are medium to high, but in line with the quality and experience offered. I've already recommended the place to friends and would gladly return.
