Sant'Ambroeus In Milano

Sant Ambroeus is the very definition of understated luxury. Thanks to its proximity to Via Montenapoleone, it attracts an impeccably dressed crowd, many of whom appear to be local Milanese. The result is a distinctly Italian interpretation of chic - elegant, effortless, and never overly showy. The service was flawless. Attentive without being intrusive, efficient without feeling rushed, and consistently professional throughout the meal. It embodied exactly what you hope to find in a restaurant of this caliber. I didn't order much, just a pasta with shrimp and lemongrass sauce, but it turned out to be one of the best pasta dishes I've had in Milan - and I've tried quite a few. The complimentary bread deserves a special mention as well: warm, perfectly crisp, and dangerously addictive. The verdict is simple: if you're looking for a restaurant that delivers a truly polished dining experience from start to finish, Sant Ambroeus is an excellent choice.

Great labdmark, great food. I was a regular in New York and this original location did not dissapoint. Amazing tartares and lobster roll. Delicious tiramisu. A definite visit in Milano!

It's lost its former luster... what a shame. Decent pastry shop. Elegant seating, but the counter doesn't differ much from a service station.

This place is great. A little formal for lunch but really good food and service. I recommend it highly.

Rei was the most phenomenal server i have ever had in my entire life. so knowledgeable about every thing i asked about. super friendly and amazing to speak with and gave me tons of knowledge about milano and italy. if you come to ambroeus please request for rei he is the BEST 10/10

Food, Wine, Location & Staff were excellent!!

We stopped for an early dinner and managed to get a table without a reservation. The service is definitely the highlight, the servers were very friendly. The food was good, a bit lacking salt for me and perhaps not worth the cost
