18/07/2025: A truly beautiful outdoor spot. The first courses were decent, and the orecchiette were very good. The second course was a fried dish that was passed off as fried fish but was actually just zucchini: so bad it made me feel sick that night.

21/06/2025: Oh my god! This place is a miracle. As typical tourists, my friend and I were enjoying the Duomo di Milano when the rain started pouring and we had to look for escape and a warm dinner. Obviously all places were packed and super touristic so I looked further away and found this great place. It was empty when we came and we had it all to ourselves. The server was just amazing. we ordered fish of the day and grilled staffed calamari! Too bad I didn’t take photos because those calamari were just OUTSTANDING. I had never had anything like that. If you feel like you are not a big fan of calamari, try them here. I am sure you will change your mind. I will definitely be back to try more dishes here next time I’m in Milan!

11/07/2025: Colazione alle 8 vetrina ammiccante, entro prendo un pezzo di torta vegana all albicocca e un caffè macchiato. La torta era immangiabile caffè normale, chiedo il conto, 9,40 euro. Caffè 2,50 torta che aveva almeno 2 settimane 6,90 ( tra l’altro il costo non era indicato nella vetrina) non mi lamento e vado via. Sconsiglio vivamente.

09/06/2025: I just ordered a mocaccino and some pastry (it was not so fresh) that clearly costed less in the menu than what they actually charged me. So disappointed about that.

You can choose from two different first courses or create a single dish with a first course, second course, and side dish. There's a dedicated area for grilled meat or fish, cooked to order. Considering that lunchtime tickets are around €7, I consider it a good option.

12/07/2025: It pains me to leave 1 star, but the food was bland and pretty certain we had some stomach issues from the food, fish was very “musty”. Service was good, but way too quick in rushing between courses.

20/06/2025: Typical trattoria or recreational club or perhaps today it is better to call it a “bistro”, nice place. Very kind service, young and lively staff. Nice menu, various choices, little space for only vegetarian dishes. Too bad about the price! €40 for 1 appetizer, 1 second course of vegetables, 1 ice cream, 1/2 L of house wine. I was happy to have come but the bill chilled me. Unfortunately this is Milan. Everything is overpriced, the choice to offer quality products is fine but the prices cannot fly that high. The place is not in the center or in the (bad) nightlife areas but we are in the Affori suburb where the rent prices (the item that strangles the restaurant) are a little more contained than elsewhere. Too bad!

13/06/2025: If you are looking for a typical 70s Milanese tavern, you are in the right place! Osteria del Biliardo is one of those “sincere places” in Milan that have remained unchanged over time in their rituals and furnishings, in the menu and in the prices. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Villa Litta Park, it presents itself as a decidedly informal place, very large, with several tables well arranged and distant from each other where you can eat, play billiards or do both :-) the proposal of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, makes us rediscover a simple, tasty and high-quality cuisine! The nettle risotto or the mackerel parmigiana are for example two of the dishes that are worth trying. The place also has an outdoor space that is usable during the summer. It is advisable to book especially on weekends. Excellent quality/price ratio (among the best in the neighborhood) and youthful, precise and punctual service.

12/07/2025: I tried the Elly 2.0 sandwich! Everything was excellent, quality products and delicious meat! Good selection of beers. Highly recommended 👍🏻

09/07/2025: Dopo la cena di lunedi sera, stamattina mi sono svegliata con vomito e, subito dopo, diarrea che è durata tutto il giorno con forti dolori addominali. Inizialmente non ho collegato subito il fatto alla cena della sera precedente perché il mio hamburger era saporito anche se, pur avendo chiesto cottura media, era quasi crudo. Nel pomeriggio mia figlia mi chiama e mi dice di stare molto male già dal mattino con vomito continuo al punto tale di non riuscire a bere un sorso d'acqua, completamente disidratata e con fortissimi dolori addominali e febbre. La sua cena era stata a base di tartare di manzo... (naturalmente cruda). Le porto dei farmaci che nel frattempo ho acquistato in farmacia per tamponare i miei dolori e diarrea ma non migliora e chiama la guardia medica, sperando risponda.... Ma che carne servite?????? Non ci sono controlli ? Nessun dubbio che la carne conteneva dei batteri o virus. Speriamo di venirne fuori senza serie conseguenze !!!!!!!!! È successo solo a noi o altri hanno avuto lo stesso problema ? PS.: siamo persone sane che prima di cenare in questo posto stavano benissimo !
