10/05/2026: We were cycling along the river when came by the restaurant by chance. Pasta was superb and the view to river and the bridge are quite something. Excellent place to stop if you are cycling from between Milan and Bergamo.

03/05/2026: The food was exceptional, bursting with flavor, with generous portions for a restaurant of this caliber, and delightful amuse-bouches throughout. Special mention goes to the waiter, who was perfect: kind, funny, and attentive without being intrusive. And the setting was absolutely magical; we felt like we were in Alice in Wonderland.

18/05/2026: We had the perch risotto and the grilled fish: both were truly excellent. The risotto was creamy, well-blended, and the perch was both flavorful and delicate. The grilled fish was plentiful, with fresh fish cooked to perfection. The desserts also won us over: a light and fragrant millefeuille, and a truly excellent tiramisu. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a place to return to!

15/05/2026: Best ever! The Oval pizza you can never ever try elsewhere! Top atmosphere, best view of the lake Pusiano, nice staff. 10/10!

21/04/2026: Dining at Bottega Lombarda was a truly rejuvenating experience. The attention to quality is evident from the moment you arrive: the bread and taralli accompanied by exquisite spreadable butter are a perfect start. We tried the breaded zucchini flowers: the ricotta inside was top-quality, a true delicacy. The rump steak was also excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned, incredibly tender, and accompanied by flavorful potatoes. The dessert also lived up to expectations, confirming the high quality of the cuisine. The service deserves special mention: the staff were very courteous, and the wait times were short, despite the attention to detail in the dishes. All this is complemented by a beautiful setting and an enviable panoramic location: the view, stretching from Campo dei Fiori to Sasso del Ferro, overlooking Lake Varese, creates a magical atmosphere. A well-deserved five stars for the food, service, and location. We'll definitely be back!

19/04/2026: The food was delicious. You can taste the traditional flavors of the dishes, which are very unique and delicious. The location is homey and welcoming, overlooking the lake, while the outside area is filled with colorful plants. You can also buy wine. Highly recommended! 😋

29/09/2025: How wonderful! An enchanting place, where the welcome is warm and familiar, the service attentive, and every dish is a discovery of taste and refinement. The experience is accompanied by an excellent selection of wines, designed to enhance each course. The only flaw? My guests kept bothering me... but only to tell me how magnificent they thought everything was! But I was certain. When you create something with passion, it shows. And it shows.

11/05/2026: It was a wonderful discovery to be able to eat such delicious seafood specialties! Compliments to Noemi and her colleagues for their helpfulness, excellent service, friendliness, and attentiveness. It's a shame how it ended... one of their colleagues, Francesco, repeatedly asked us to vacate the table to move other guests who were already seated, and that wasn't exactly the best!

10/05/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant in the Brera district, just steps from the Church of San Marco. Generous portions, fresh fish. Clean atmosphere, and friendly staff. You'll need to fill out an order form, but it's easy to follow the staff's instructions. You can eat inside or outside. Outside, it's close to traffic, and inside, the space is a bit cramped, but the atmosphere is very well-maintained and pleasant. Prices are fair for a downtown seafood restaurant. Recommended: I'll be back!

27/04/2026: What can I say about this restaurant? It's wonderful in every way, and it feels like home afterward. The restaurant manager is very professional and kind, the waiters are always smiling, and you can't wait to start the evening. Not to mention the chef, whose delicious dishes will make you daydream. The location overlooking the lake is spectacular. I recommend it to anyone who wants to unwind, pamper themselves, and enjoy a unique experience.

26/04/2026: I had dinner last night with my wife during our hotel stay. The location is very beautiful and well-maintained. We chose the tasting menu: the dishes were good, well-presented, and with adequate portions. Two small points: the "bonbon and drageed" dessert was a bit disappointing, as it was served as a plate of about 25 sugared almonds, which wasn't very appealing, even visually. Furthermore, the service could be improved, still seeming a bit uninspired. Overall, however, it was a positive experience.

06/04/2026: We had lunch at Villa Baroni on Easter Monday. The property offers limited parking, but a few meters ahead, there are two free public parking lots. Because it was a special day, the restaurant was very crowded, and the wait was a bit long (but we weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us). The only downside was that some waiters, one in particular, was running (literally) around the room. The food was delicious; the raw fish appetizer was excellent; we highly recommend it. The view is beautiful, and after lunch, we stopped by the pool to soak up some rays. That part of the property is also very beautiful. We'll definitely be back.

31/03/2026: We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant on Lake Varese with about 20 people, and we were truly delighted. The menu was well thought out, the dishes were of excellent quality and carefully prepared, and the service was efficient, friendly, and always attentive. All our guests had a wonderful time. We definitely recommend this place for special occasions.

02/11/2025: The La Musa restaurant in Parco San Marco is a true culinary experience. The moment you step inside, you feel the special atmosphere: an elegant and timeless design, and the warm welcome from the incredibly friendly staff instantly boosted my enthusiasm. We dined here twice because the food was so delicious. A fantastic selection of regional specialties, and the wine list is, of course, sensational. So many choices! The restaurant is reserved for guests aged 16 and over – which contributes to the quiet, exclusive atmosphere. La Musa is not just a restaurant, but a journey through flavor, aesthetics, and hospitality. Anyone staying at Parco San Marco shouldn't miss this experience, and it will definitely make you want to return. We will certainly be back!

06/05/2026: Stopped here to just enjoy a couple of drinks and people watch,it's perfect for that. Enjoyed the snacks they brought to the table and decided to order some mussels to share. They were lovely and tasted fresh. The staff were good,though I think a couple were new and after ordering some more drinks,they seemed to have forgotten. No problem though,we asked someone else (i can only assume he was in charge of the staff)who apologised and brought them straight out. Atmosphere was good,lots of people chatting and just watching the world go by. 3 young men across the road were playing their violins too,which just added to the whole vibe..they were great too..would recommend for a couple of drinks,snacks and people watching...not sure about the larger meals as didn't order,but lovely place

05/05/2026: Dear Funiculare Team, For over 35 years we have been your guests and have stayed at your hotel many times. It always felt like coming home when we visited. Unfortunately, this was probably the last time. We used to be the focus as guests, but now it seems to us that only maximizing profits is the priority. The music blares loudly from the speakers, the cozy atmosphere is gone, the staff are energetically trying to solicit new customers as they walk by instead of paying attention to the guests already there, and in our opinion, the food has become rather subpar. And to top it all off, our waiter turned away without a word after we left a 10% tip. The restaurant's location is beautiful, and it has such a long history. It would be wonderful if the management could restore the restaurant to its former glory.

29/03/2026: The restaurant's decor is simple and unimpressive, with neither a tavern nor a family atmosphere. As soon as we entered, we were hit by an unpleasant smell of fried food: the kitchen should be well ventilated. The food doesn't live up to the numerous positive reviews. Aside from the fried anchovies, which don't require any special skill to prepare, the rest was subpar: the sciatielli with wild boar ragù, which didn't seem fresh to me, could have been served in a canteen, and the prawns in pumpkin cream lacked any particular flavor. I think they're trying to offer a basic, home-style cuisine with a twist, but they fail to achieve this, instead descending into a style of cuisine that completely loses its local character and leaves it unclear where it's headed. The prices are affordable, but the dinner completely disappointed me.

18/05/2026: The exterior is far too sober, with paper tablecloths and napkins. However, the dishes are well-prepared and attractive. They aren't expensive and deliver what they promise. The cuisine is Roman, as advertised, but you can also stop for an aperitif.
