15/11/2025: I went for lunch today and had the eight-course tasting menu. The location is very pretty, probably a renovated old house in the valleys, and it really gives the feeling of an intimate moment. Before talking about the menu, I'd like to say a few words about the service: the two ladies in the dining room were wonderful, anticipating every need, punctual but never intrusive, with a smile plastered on their faces and, above all, knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to listen to them discuss both the dishes and the wine. This should be the norm in a restaurant of this caliber, but having been to several, I assure you it's not. To discuss the menu in detail: €140 + €35 for the pairing with three glasses of wine, one of the best value I've experienced. The amuse bouche are very interesting, from the sweetness of the pumpkin to the more intense flavor of the takoyaki and chicken livers, finishing with the mock macaron and the rocher, with a hint of fried herbs (what a frying!). The first two dishes were probably the ones that left me most amazed, perhaps because I had underestimated them: course 0 cream of cauliflower with trout caviar and thyme, an incredible balance, the part on the surface pushes so much with the savory that the cream then dulls (by the way, it almost seemed like a foam with its consistency) and the herb that then finishes off, enhancing all the previous flavors and preparing you for the next bite. The cavolo nero leaf with truffle doesn't seem like a dish with too many pretensions in terms of flavor, but the combination of the bitterness, the truffle on top, and what's under the leaf makes it explode in the mouth and for me deserves the award for best dish on the menu. I'm not a fan of snails as a raw ingredient, but the pairing with the formai de mut and the bitterness of the asparagus is very interesting. The sweetbreads are another dish of the highest quality, cooked and therefore obviously perfectly textured, with an enviable aroma of the grill and maillard. The two first courses were pleasant, but in my opinion, a step behind the appetizers and main courses. The black lemon in the rice was a real highlight, giving it a truly interesting twist. The eel was very smoky, but I personally enjoyed it, with the acidic grapefruit and hazelnut cream keeping it under control very well. I really appreciated the two versions of lamb, including sirloin, paired with tarragon (my opinion: the herb is better than the meat, and not because the meat isn't). On the rolled belly, the herbs tried everything they could but couldn't quite make it. The flavor was very intense, and it should be pleasant because it left the mouth feeling very full and heavy, but the kitchen knows this well, and in fact, the fir granita arrived next, which, besides being delicious, brought the palate back to a completely neutral state. A sugar-free dessert, but very balanced, with a perfect level of sweetness, and a truly remarkable little pastry, with the added punch of the cannoli with whiskey cream. In short: exceptional cuisine, perfect pairings, beautiful location, and impeccable staff. I'll definitely be back to try the other menus, especially the vegetarian one, given the magic the chefs have shown they can work!

16/10/2025: A typical Milanese osteria, not at all touristy despite the location's apparent inconvenience. The decor is both rustic and refined, and the service is very friendly: one of the waiters is always ready to joke, and his laughter is contagious. But enough chit-chat, let's get to the food. For our appetizer, we shared an off-menu dish: fried porcini mushrooms with salt and lemon. It's literally addictive, and I hope you find them off-menu, because there's no better way to start dinner. Then we had paccheri with crispy pancetta and a cream of robiola and saffron (as delicious as a carbonara), bombardini with Puzzone di Moena cheese and licorice powder (which went perfectly!), and goat's crescenza croquettes (delicious and also a great main course). For dessert, we had the gorgonzola gelato (unfortunately, I didn't get to try it), the Venetian cake with chocolate and persimmon cream (a sort of mini panettone, very good; the waiter recommended it), and the panna cotta (I also didn't get to try that). This place was truly a great discovery; we ate truly divine. In total, we spent 40 euros each (we also had three IPA beers).

But what also makes the evening unforgettable is the service: young, attentive, and genuinely friendly. A special thanks to George and Thomas, who with professionalism and kindness accompanied us throughout the dinner, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. A place where taste, elegance, and humanity come together perfectly.

08/11/2025: First 2-star experience after several 1-star ratings. The atmosphere is very refined, with many details, and the view of the square is an added touch. The ingredients and dishes are truly good, refined, and beautifully presented. Excellent service. Worth the experience.

22/10/2025: This place is a fantastic find! The views of Lake Iseo are unmatched, the hotel is historic and charming, and every staff member encountered was extraordinary. We had dinner one evening and they do an excellent job (very accommodating to my gluten allergy as well). Lovely breakfast area. We will be back! (We had a small group on a wine tour)

29/10/2025: The Artisan Café is the perfect place for a cocktail evening in Bergamo. An elegant and welcoming venue, with soft lighting and a relaxed atmosphere. The drinks are carefully crafted, original, and made with quality ingredients; the staff is professional and always friendly. Highly recommended for an aperitif or a refined after-dinner drink!

30/09/2025: Enchanting place, super welcoming and kind owners! Prices in line with the location, altitude, and management! The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy! PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!

26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.

16/10/2025: A sure thing. We're semi-regulars with their Valentine's Day boxes and dinners. The atmosphere is welcoming and the dishes are meticulously prepared, and arrive hot and tidy. The prices are a little higher than average, but fair enough for the quality of the ingredients. Definitely recommended.

02/11/2025: A beautiful terrace with a spectacular view of Milan's Central Station. The modern and pleasant atmosphere is perfect for an aperitif or a quiet evening with friends. It's truly a special place: seeing the city from above, with all the lights and hustle and bustle, creates a unique atmosphere. A relaxing yet vibrant experience.

23/11/2025: This place is always a guarantee. The menu changes frequently based on the seasons, but the dishes are always of exceptional quality and execution. The service is very attentive and professional, and the wine selection is incredibly extensive and extensive. The aperitif in the cellar is a must-try experience, not only for the atmosphere, but also for the selection of cured meats and cheeses. Everything was perfect!
