26/09/2025: A truly pleasant surprise, a very cute place, high-quality and very appetizing food, and excellent service. Definitely a place worth trying in our beautiful capital.

24/09/2025: The restaurant is very charming, near the Trevi Fountain, perfect for an evening in the city center. We were greeted with a chicken roll in filo pastry, offered by the restaurant. We then enjoyed two appetizers: the portions were generous, like a proper main course. Finally, we ordered first courses: spaghetti with clams and tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes, provola cheese, and eggplant. Everything was delicious, including the staff! A true hidden gem, tucked away with its effortlessly cool industrial-chic style, yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. I’ve come here for everything from aperitivi to tea time, and each visit is an experience in comfort, taste, and pure joy. But what really steals the show? The cakes. One more delicious than the other—honestly, it feels like a little piece of heaven in every bite. Yesterday was a full-blown flavour fairytale. I had the apple crumble pie and a triple chocolate slice, while my friend went for the pear crumble. Every mouthful was a journey—rich, balanced, comforting, and unforgettable. Like stepping into a magical land of flavours. I couldn’t stop myself from writing this review just to say: chapeau to the chef and the owner. You can tell that every detail—from the packaging to the branding—has been crafted with passion and precision. Thank you, Fabrica, for always making my stomach (and soul) so happy. I’ll be back again. And again. And again!

30/08/2025: Nice, clean place, and delicious pizza, especially the toppings! For an appetizer, I recommend the zucchini flowers, super crispy and fresh. And the eggplant meatballs, super tasty and delicious. For pizza, I had the Parma, and I have to say it was delicious... the only flaw was the service, perhaps the speed could be improved... otherwise, it was an excellent dinner, the staff was friendly and smiling.

13/07/2025: I organized my son's 18th birthday party here. I discovered the place because I was invited to a dear friend's 60th birthday party, and everything had already been great! A beautiful farmhouse with attention to every detail! The food was excellent, and the desserts were superb! The waiters were professional and attentive to the needs of everyone at the party! Marianna and Valeria were super helpful, they looked after you and managed everything impeccably! My satisfied guests all complimented me on my choice! What can I say? 18/09/2025: A great little place for a plate of pasta! Staff was friendly and helpful (even to a non-italian speaker) don't expect anything fancy but do expect some incredible, handmade pasta at an incredible value!

16/09/2025: One of the best pastas we've had in Rome! It was totally unexpected. When we saw that everything was served on paper plates, we didn't have high expectations, but we were really surprised by the taste! The pasta is super cheap, but the portions are also very small... But it's quite good for traveling, since you can eat somewhere often :)

03/10/2025: I find it subpar. In every way. I fear it's the bane of downtown venues: since there are customers (tourists) anyway, why bother? Quality is far below average at above-average prices.

06/10/2025: We visited you a few nights ago. It was a magnificent evening, both in name and in nature. A very refined venue. Excellent, high-quality food and carefully selected ingredients. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The "Welcome" and "Goodbye" concepts were extremely nice. An experience we'll definitely repeat soon!

12/10/2025: I went to Retrobottega last Saturday with four friends, and I have to say it was an extraordinary experience. Amazing food, incredible wine, and a unique atmosphere: welcoming, lively, and meticulously crafted. Every dish was a surprise, with a quality rarely found, not even in many Michelin-starred restaurants. The staff is exceptional—highly trained, friendly, perfectly informal, and never pretentious. They make you feel completely at ease and convey a true passion for what they do. Without a doubt, the best restaurant I've ever tried in Rome.

10/09/2025: A restaurant where I was taken by acquaintances. The service is excellent; the menus were brought as soon as we sat down, and the order was immediately taken and brought to the kitchen. The food was brought quickly, just enough time to cook. The view is of the sea, and if we had parked nearby, we could have seen the car. The bathrooms were more than clean, and the faucets are equipped with sensors. Overnight accommodations are also available. People arrive regularly, so reservations are recommended. The prices, considering the location and the service offered, are more than reasonable.
