15/07/2025: Perfect place to spend a pleasant evening. Generous portions, classic style. The entire staff was excellent. Kudos to the entire kitchen team, who took care of every detail of our dinner.

12/07/2025: I'm leaving one star because I ordered the whole chicken for €70.00 and received a chicken that wasn't actually spit-roasted on the spot; it looked like any other boiled meat, given the pink flesh and lack of crispiness. Everything else was exceptional, as always. As a regular customer, the ingredients are exceptional, but don't order the chicken; the price is unjustified. I'll be back.

29/06/2025: This is a fantastic restaurant in a beautiful medieval village. Most charmingly located and offering a stunning view of the valley and the distant Monte Soratte. Excellent cooking, good wine list, very friendly staff. It is absolutely worth the 3-minute detour from the main road. Easy to find and easy to park (free).

07/07/2025: They brought barely cooked pasta, after I tried it I immediately returned it. What's most surprising is that they didn't offer to make a new one and included it in the bill. This is the first time I've encountered this!!!

22/06/2025: Excellent quality of dishes. A ‘must’ their pizza amatriciana but any choice is right. Great professionalism of the staff always ready to understand the requests of the customers. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: The pizza was very good and the staff were very friendly. The only negative thing was the bad taste and that by booking through De Fork you are entitled to a 20% discount, but to recover the price of a digestive it skyrocketed to 6 euros.

01/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on July 24th to celebrate my father's birthday... we had a wonderful time, both with the quality and quantity of the food, as well as the service... the staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. It's also worth noting that when we booked, the owner let us choose the location we liked best, in the large garden! Overall, it was a pleasant discovery... highly recommended!!

29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

21/07/2025: Every time I find myself here, I feel at home. Excellent spritzes and wines by the glass, not to mention the always excellent platter of cured meats, cheeses, and bruschetta!!! Highly recommended!!!

10/07/2025: Recommended by friends near the Coppedè neighborhood, Dietro le Quinte is a little gem, where you can sip excellent cocktails and equally delicious food. The atmosphere is cool and at the same time makes you feel like you're among friends because the staff is fantastic. Highly recommended :)

21/08/2025: Delicious Italian food at reasonable prices and great service. The menu is only in Italian, but the young waiters speak English and are very helpful. On summer evenings, the atmosphere in the courtyard with soft music is very good.

15/08/2025: I went here for the first time, brought by a friend. It was immediately clear that they want you to believe something that isn't actually there: the location is beautiful but very neglected, the umbrellas and gazebos are very dirty and damaged, the lighting cables and electrical outlets are way too loose, and it's not exactly the safest. Having said that, let's move on to the food, which isn't bad but lacks substance. The menu is also really poor, just a few tried-and-tested first courses and then those artichokes that apparently are available 12 months a year, so often out of season. The prices are absolutely above average. Just think that with half a kilo of good pasta, so with a cost above 1 euro, they can make at least 3 dishes? Come on, I'm going to meet them. 3 dishes cost 13 euros each, and we're talking about cacio e pepe, not porcini mushrooms or who knows what other sauce. The pizzas are truly amazing. They make 8, 4 of which are remade from the first 4, at prices you can always call Findomestic. We're not there, guys.

01/09/2025: The tuna in the grilled fish dish was bitter, causing an immediate itch on my tongue, and a night in the bathroom. Luckily, I left half of it on my plate; I pointed it out to the waiter, who insisted on reassuring me that it was fresh. A terrible experience.

31/08/2025: A lovely family run restaurant. Service was very good considering how extremely busy they are. The food was very nice too, we've had the pleasure of eating here twice, and will be back for a 3rd time, before we head home to Australia. If you're in this part of Rome, I recommend a visit at least once.

23/06/2025: Great British experience! I had vanilla black tea and scones! The cutlery and teaware are ADORABLE! The music takes you back in time (although I would have preferred classical music) and makes you forget you are in Rome for the time you are there. The owners are lovely and kind. ^_^

06/05/2025: The British Corner - tearoom and antique shop - The British Corner is a very small UK corner in the heart of Pigneto, in Rome. In the small tea room, Michele and Salvatore - the owners and managers - in addition to offering delicious variations of scones and cakes that accompany the countless blends of tea, offer for sale Victorian porcelain, very original teapots, antique jewellery, everything coming from British antique markets. In the small room with a vaguely fané feel, groups reading Jane Austen's novels also meet periodically, dressed in the style of the early 19th century in England. New entry in the 'gastronomic' proposal of late spring, the Saturday and Sunday brunch, the famous 'full English breakfast' to which, for those with a sweet tooth, cakes, scones and sandwiches are added. The prices are absolutely low and the service is friendly and polite.

22/07/2025: L'endroit idéal pour commencer la journée ! les locaux boivent leur café sur le dessus de la vitrine qui leur sert de comptoir. Les touristes s'installent dehors sur 2 terrasses car la pâtisserie fait un angle de rue. Propreté irréprochable, grand choix de pâtisseries, de viennoiseries délicieuses. J'ai testé un "maritozzo panna" pour 4 euros, une espèce de brioche énorme fourrée chantilly. Je n'ai jamais vu de pâtissier exposer en vitrine ses propres bâtonnets de glace maison ! Les cafés, capuccino, etc tournent autour de 3 euros, carte avec prix et addition sans mauvaise surprise. Bon accueil.

23/06/2025: As always I am writing a very detailed review also because I really enjoyed this place. It was my birthday on 06.21.2025, and we went for lunch. We booked. We were greeted by the staff with great kindness and made to sit on the patio with a beautiful view of the sea, and lots of fresh air, the table was set very elegantly, as soon as the waiter arrived, very nice and kind, he took our order. I must say that everything arrived very quickly... we chose: spaghetti with clams, rating 8 with so many clams that the dish was huge, risotto with scampi cream, rating 9, seafood gnocchi, rating 8. Then we tried two different types of cod on the advice of the waiter, I must say both were excellent... I have never tasted cod in those two ways... served with elegance and beauty, because even the eye wants its part, rating for the two cod dishes 10!!!. My daughter preferred a nice plate of scampi... excellent rating 8. Then the final treat was the sorbet.... very special because GREEN APPLE SORBET.... EXQUISITE!!! NEVER TRIED BEFORE.. A GEMS OF THIS PLACE! and finally... we hadn't brought the cake... and the owner Stefania sent us a cake just for us with a dedication that I have to say was excellent, rating 9. In short, everything was perfect. Everything was excellent. I absolutely have to go back! You can't go wrong because you eat really well here. Thanks to all the staff!
