10/07/2025: Anyone wanting to visit Hadrian's Villa can stay and dine here within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is appealing, and the value is good. The wine list is also quite well-stocked. We're only staying here for one night while passing through, and we're very happy with our choice.

10/07/2025: An unexpected surprise: after years of discovering pizzerias, I didn't think I'd find a pizzeria-restaurant like this! Quality of ingredients, pizza leavening (Roman, not Neapolitan), supplì, croquettes, etc.... all made in-house (and not bought and resold like in some trattorias). The prices are absolutely reasonable and even satisfying, confirming the whole experience, from the delicious food to the service. Booking days in advance is essential to secure a seat.

19/08/2025: Fine ingredients, vegetarian and fish menus of rare precision. Delicious pinsas, light and well-leavened, fragrant, and made with sublime ingredients. Attention to quality. The only place I know where, even on a Saturday night, you can converse at the table without any hassle. I think it's the best place to spend an evening in Ostia.

A surprising dish that takes traditional Roman cuisine to the next level. 🔹 The ravioli del plin all'amatriciana with crispy bacon is a celebration of Lazio cuisine: the pasta is masterfully rolled, the filling rich in flavor, and the crispy bacon provides an irresistible savory note. 30/08/2025: My wife and I stayed at the Best Western because we had an early flight from Fiumicino the next morning. We had dinner at the Concorde restaurant (the hotel restaurant) and found it to be a welcoming atmosphere with very attentive and professional staff, especially Mrs. Simona. The traditional Roman dishes were well-prepared and the ingredients were of good quality. Finally, the desserts they prepared were delicious, especially the tiramisu, which I highly recommend. It was a positive experience for the restaurant.

12/08/2025: Food - Absolutely fantastic, the pizza was fresh and packed full of flavour. Breschetta was also delicious with fresh tomatoes and herbs. We stopped here for a late lunch and only got a bit of food. Service - Overall the service was just okay. It took forever to get the bill because the server was busy talking with a friend. There was a few times we though they forgot about us. This could have been due to the time we visited as it was a really late lunch. Atmosphere - We sat on the Patio and it was nice even though it was so hot. They have fans under their canapy that helps move the air around so it was quite nice. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here and our drinks but the service could have been a bit better but I would still reccomend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

30/07/2025: A huge disappointment, unfortunately. I came to Acquapazza with high expectations, wanting to give a special experience to my nephew, the son of restaurateurs in Madrid and accustomed since childhood to eating in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. I chose this place without asking for advice, trusting the name (my mistake). Let's start with the positive: the location is truly enchanting. At the top of the island, with a spectacular view of all of Ponza, the atmosphere is refined and very evocative. The staff was kind and courteous, nothing to complain about in terms of human touch. But from a Michelin-starred restaurant, I expect much more, especially in two fundamental aspects: service and cuisine. Regarding service: despite there being few tables, the attention was lacking. Our wine remained forgotten in the cooler, and several times we were forced to serve ourselves. In a restaurant of this caliber, this is unacceptable: in certain price ranges, customers deserve careful attention, discreetly but consistently. No one expects extreme formality, but attention is. And it was lacking here. About the food: beautiful presentation, beautifully plated dishes. But the flavor? Mediocre. No memorable dishes, no emotion. I left the restaurant with nothing that made me want to return. I've enjoyed much more at all the other restaurants I've tried on the island, at much more reasonable prices. The bill, however, was extremely high (€350 for the tasting menu, for three people with two bottles of wine for around €30 each), and frankly not justified by what we received. A Michelin star must be earned every day, and maintained with rigor, commitment, and research. Here, I had the distinct feeling that they were living off their income.

23/08/2025: For my birthday, I enjoyed the 5-course menu on the rooftop terrace. The location is truly a highlight, with its fantastic view and modern, relaxed, and sophisticated ambiance. The dishes were truly outstanding – freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and exceptionally tasty. The friendly and attentive service is also particularly noteworthy. I felt completely at home and can highly recommend the Ambrosia Roof.
