29/08/2025: For breakfast, lunch, aperitif, dinner... it's always a pleasure to stop by "Kefa" and be pampered by Hiwot. The place is cozy but small; it's always best to reserve a table for lunch and dinner. When it's not raining, there are outdoor tables.

19/08/2025: Lovely little shop with delicious coffee and great service from the owner and her staff. We ended up coming by here for our morning coffees for the whole week we were in Bergamo. Highly recommend!

17/08/2025: Very good and unique, this is my third time at Eritrean. I have to say, the selection of dishes outside of the main course is limited. The atmosphere is nice, although it does feel a bit like a playground restaurant.

08/08/2025: The only Ethiopian and Eritrean food that is tasty, flavourful, and well served. The place is quite unique, cozy and inviting. The hosts are welcoming and offered us Ethiopian spice tea.

Locale abbastanza fermo agli anni 80 cosa che può piacere o meno, molto belli tutti gli oggetti antichi esposti sulle pareti o appesi sul tetto. Servizio veloce con le giuste tempistiche tra una portata e l'altra. Personale gentile. Cibo buono e portate abbondanti, degna di nota la carne del sugo dei ravioli, di una tenerezza fantastica. Prezzi competitivi rispetto ad altri agriturismi. Unica pecca il dolce, il cannolicchio con una crema all' interno che non aveva nessun sapore, ne buono ne cattivo...

The place is beautiful, decorated in a truly traditional and welcoming style—a true journey to Africa without leaving the city. A huge thank you to the owner, who was incredibly kind and gracious: she made us feel at home and was able to convey her passion for her cuisine and Malian culture. And the dessert? Simply amazing! 30/06/2025: I love the Ethiopian-Eritrean dishes and it was very good, better than expected. Very friendly and easygoing staff also, more than simply professional. Highly recommended to try this wonderful cuisine and restaurant. Easy to reach with public transport, and close to nice pubs to continue the evening.

08/06/2025: Authentic African food right in the Vucceria district. The food is wonderfully seasoned. The skewers as an appetizer are especially recommended. Unfortunately, the chicken as a main course was too dry. Otherwise, a great place!

04/06/2025: Waked passed by chance. The food was amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting something away from Italian/ Sicilian food. We had never had Senegalese food before, will defiantly be having it again. We asked what was recommended and got the Mafe. Get this don’t mess around. Great atmosphere and hospitality!

23/08/2025: A good restaurant 🍽 that allows you to enjoy the flavors of Eritrean cuisine 🇪🇷, located just outside the city center. The restaurant is located on Via Sorio and has virtually no parking 🅿️, which could make it a bit inconvenient for those who have to go there by car 🚘. The staff is extremely courteous (even over the phone 📞 when booking), with the owner 🧓🏾 proving very helpful in patiently explaining the characteristics of the dishes. We opted for the friendship plate 🤝, which seems to be the highlight of the menu 📋; it is a single dish composed of different types of stew (from buffalo to ostrich to antelope, to name a few), accompanied by a legume puree and typical Eritrean bread 🍞 🇪🇷. As for this bread, characterized by a certain sponginess (no offense to Eritrean cuisine enthusiasts), I must say it's certainly an unusual and very distinctive product, although I didn't particularly enjoy it, primarily because of its texture. In fact, once it soaks up the stew sauce (it's served as a base for the meat itself), the bread tends to fall apart excessively, becoming impractical to eat. Perhaps it would have been better served separately, so as to keep it drier and more whole (but I also realize that doing so would probably have lost one of the dish's distinctive features). The meat was very good 😋, well-cooked and spiced. Prices were perhaps slightly above average, but justified by the exclusivity of the dishes. Overall, the rating is certainly positive 👍. Reservations are highly recommended 📞. A different kind of culinary experience, one I highly recommend. 09/07/2025: It was our first time at an Eritrean restaurant and we chose this little place, which truly enchanted us. We were pleasantly surprised by the style of the place, which was consistent with the culture and tradition, and by the delicious dishes that, though limited, respected customs. So much so, that no desserts were served, as they are non-existent in Eritrean culture due to extreme poverty. The owner is a kind, generous, and calm person who amazes you with his warm welcome and never makes you feel uncomfortable; in fact, he even explains how to eat with your hands! We will be back and recommend it to everyone! P.S. The complimentary final tea was delicious and helped us digest. A memorable evening.
