03/10/2025: Great lunch here with authentic Eritrean cuisine. We had the recommended platter to try everything and enjoyed it. Service was informed and friendly, lunchtime is probably okay to walk in, but recommended to book for the evening! Would go again!!

19/09/2025: Family-run, they'll welcome you with smiles, explanations of the dishes, and a warm welcome. The food is excellent, whether spicy or not, as I have allergies, but they suggested an equally tasty alternative. Needless to say, I'll be back.

14/10/2025: I returned here a few years after my last visit, and although I had already loved it, it exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious!

27/09/2025: The dishes were incredibly rich in flavor and very filling! I had the vegetarian zighinì, and the chickpea cream in particular was truly spectacular. The mango mousse for dessert was also very good. The dining room where we ate was quiet, with an intimate and cozy atmosphere. We were able to have a conversation without the usual hustle and bustle typical of restaurants. The gentleman serving the tables and managing the cash register was truly kind, unlike anything I've ever seen; he even offered us a herbal tea at the end of the meal. If you have any leftovers, you can take them home. I highly recommend them.

Yosif offers an extremely kind and loving welcome, seating you at your table, taking every single order by heart, and leaving a little souvenir of the restaurant with so much love. I recommend it and will go again!

04/10/2025: Small but very refined, the atmosphere is inviting. You can dine at a classic table or in the traditional way, sitting on the floor and eating with your hands. The menu is excellent, with several appetizer choices and three main courses, including a vegetarian option. The staff is friendly and cheerful, with a wonderful customer service attitude. The food is spectacular, and the service is incredibly fast. Obviously, given the limited seating, reservations are highly recommended. Excellent choice for those looking to try something new. 26/09/2025: Truly amazing! A 360° immersive experience. We ate sitting on the floor, using our hands (which I absolutely recommend), although you can also sit at the table with forks. Truly delicious and flavorful food, impeccable service, and incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is charming. I'll definitely be back!

18/09/2025: The restaurant is located in a quiet area, and the interior is very spacious. Four of us came for lunch on a Saturday and, at the manager's suggestion (?), wanted to try the house specials. It was a perfect choice: I wasn't thrilled with the lamb ragù, but the rest of the food was exceptionally good, even though I'm not a fan of spices. The meat was delicious, and the various legume-based sauces paired perfectly with the stew. I didn't particularly appreciate the traditional bread (too spongy), the papaya/coconut/mango desserts, or the special coffee they have, the name of which I can't remember (spiced with ginger and cumin). The wild fennel bread, however, is worth it. Worth a try, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering it's in Bologna: €90, including drinks, for four of us. We ate a lot.

16/09/2025: A dinner that was a true journey to Africa! The flavors are authentic and rich, the dishes are carefully prepared and truly delicious. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of atmosphere, making you feel like you've been transported directly to the African continent. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for those who want to discover new culinary traditions without leaving Bologna.

10/09/2025: Impeccable. I don't write many reviews, but I had to. The food was irrationally unique and high-quality. Excellent meat, "and I'm a butcher." Stellar service. The welcome and attention to detail were top-notch. I had the mixed appetizers and main courses, and from the first bite I was amazed, intrigued, and satisfied. The wine and beer were fantastic. The portions were reasonable, and I eat quite a lot. They were extremely helpful with questions and anything else. Impeccable hosts and exemplary restaurateurs. The wine, beer, dishes, and settings were typical of Africa, including the tables, chairs, and furnishings. It will be my new habit! Thank you for this priceless experience.

15/06/2025: Cozy and home-style restaurant. The absolute protagonist is the food, which is very tasty, with the right balance between side dishes, meat or vegetables (depending on the veg option or not) and sauce. What makes it all special is that YOU EAT WITH YOUR HANDS! Another positive note: the owner and the staff serve everyone with a smile, which made it a pleasant experience. I will definitely return several times😄 Value for money: excellent!

18/09/2025: A couple of friends and I had lunch at Enquatash. The place is full of references to Ethiopia and Eritrea, and local songs can be heard in the background, immersing guests in their atmosphere. We ate both the meat-filled Sambusa and the Zighinì, drinking Asmara beer with ours. The dishes are delicious and plentiful, reflecting Ethiopian and Eritrean traditions. Giovanni, the owner, is a welcoming person who reveals the secrets of these fascinating countries, offering customers top-notch service. Furthermore, we watched Ethiopian coffee being poured directly from a Jebena, as per the traditional ritual. The coffee was also very flavorful and served as a perfect end to the meal. Also noteworthy is the presence of typical products, such as exotic fruit liqueurs, which are of excellent quality and difficult to find elsewhere. I recommend eating at this restaurant both to those who have never tasted this cuisine and to those who have already tried it but haven't yet found a place in Rome to enjoy it again.

15/09/2025: Such friendly staff - patient in helping us pick something that will appeal to each person. The staff protected us from ordering items too spicey and taught me how to use the injera bread 😂

15/09/2025: Terrible experience. I was truly disappointed: the food was bland and served cold, the portions tiny for the exorbitant price. The service was extremely slow, the staff rude and completely disinterested in customers. The place was dirty, with an unpleasant smell from the moment you entered. Honestly, one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I definitely won't be returning.... Furthermore, the atmosphere was chaotic and felt more like a meeting place than a proper restaurant.

12/09/2025: We didn't have the chance to eat there, but we did stop for a drink. They have a small, very pleasant terrace in a lively plaza. The service is attentive.
