05/04/2024: Disappointed this visit. Had to send back celiac burger twice as undercooked. Had impression less fish in spaghetti al scoglio.

06/04/2024: I left ecstatic. I took handmade tagliatelle all'amatriciana... Never eaten so good, I couldn't believe it, the end of the world. Then I took various mixed kebabs, one better than the other.
Go there, without thinking twice

31/03/2024: The welcoming and familiar atmosphere made me feel at ease straight away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, demonstrating a real passion for their work. The cuisine is a true riot of local flavours, from fresh pasta to game dishes; everything is prepared with skill and passion.
But what really struck me and my faithful four-legged friend was the friendliness towards animals. Not only are the dogs welcomed, but they are treated with respect and affection.
In short, Il Guado della Valle is a place where courtesy and hospitality blend with a passion for good food and love for animals.

30/03/2024: Questo ristorante è stato una piacevole scoperta. A partire dal personale molto giovanile e il titolare Francesco sono delle bravissime persone che si rendono a disposizione per tutto!! La.qualita del cibo è davvero ottima. Tutto fresco e genuino. Appena ritorneremo in zona di sicuro ci fermeremo a mangiare nuovamente al Guado!! Consigliatissimo!!!

17/02/2024: Delicious meat, ok for celiacs.
Let's start with the kebabs as an appetizer, excellent consistency and flavour, cooked and salted to perfection. Then we take the slices with porcini mushrooms and with vinegar, walnuts and parmesan, both delicious. As a side dish we order chicory and potatoes, crunchy and delicious. Fair prices. We will be back to try the first ones. Highly recommended

03/04/2024: Excellent inn in the center of the village. The place has tables only inside. It is advisable to book, especially during the busiest periods (Christmas and summer). The crumbled artichoke is exceptional, as is the meat. The staff is courteous and helpful

Dal momento in cui ho varcato la soglia, sono stato accolto con un servizio impeccabile e un'atmosfera super accogliente. Il menu ricco di prelibatezze, primi atomici, prendere le chitarre al tartufo un sapore unico, mi ha deliziato con sapori intensi e piatti perfettamente preparati. Ogni boccone era un'esplosione di gusto e la presentazione dei piatti era impeccabile. Il personale super cortese e attento ha reso il mio pranzo ancora più piacevole. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a tutti gli amanti della buona forchetta, è un'esperienza che non deluderà le aspettative."

03/04/2024: Let me start by saying that I give three stars only because the waiters were very kind. In 2024 you can't have to question a simple pasta with tomato sauce because it was creamed with cheese without notifying me. I had clearly said I was vegan and there were two of us at the table. I immediately realized that the spaghetti contained something strange. They solved the problem by redoing the portion with simple sauce but I think they used an already used pan because I still found some white things inside that weren't seeds. The baked potatoes could have been excellent if it weren't for the fact that they heated them on something in contact with fat or smoke from roast meat... and for a vegan this is not acceptable. I couldn't eat them. The food however, for an omnivore, is quite good and the staff courteous. I recommend preparing yourself better on the subject of veganism and vegetarianism.
02/04/2024: We ordered 35 kebabs, which were inedible as well as unpalatable. Tough with lots of sinew and overcooked and very greasy. When we sent them back on €45 worth of kebabs they gave us back €18 but so far that's fine because they weren't required to do so. It's a shame that they removed one part and added it on the other because they made us pay an extra cover charge and when we pointed it out we were told "well we've already taken away the kebabs" because you rightly first tell the customer that he would have taken away one part of the bill, then you cheat him by making him pay more elsewhere. As a customer I felt cheated and we left. Recommended to your worst enemies!

11/03/2024: Let's start by saying that you will be faced with something very different from usual. I would say unique in terms of raw materials, combinations, workmanship and taste. Smoked red turnips, grapes, strawberries and rocket, and lentils with hazelnut cream are the best dishes on the tasting menu.
Let's get to the notes that are a little out of tune in my opinion. 1) Price - tasting menu at 210. I believe that in the presence of a raw material with minimal food cost (all plant-based) the research work and processing cannot justify the price (otherwise carnivorous menus or with raw materials of value would be at least double).
2) Quantity - I added 4 dishes to the menu. The quantities are really minimal and I would suggest increasing them. I would suggest increasing the quantity and variety of bread brought to the table.
3) speed of service - for the average of lunches in starred restaurants we went very quickly. I would have expected more information on the research work and preparations.
4)I took wines by the glass. Normal and local wines. 25 euros per glass. An insane price (basically if I had known beforehand I would have gotten the wine pairing for 100 euros). Nobody warned us though.
Would I go back? Yes but not at that price.

02/04/2024: Luckily there are still trattorias from the past! The pasta is still rolled out by hand by the owner and the portions are gigantic ‼️ Excellent cuisine, kindness of the staff, availability for bookings also on WhatsApp. The only flaw if I really have to find it are the spaces, I hope as they say they are arranging a larger location. Super recommended ‼️
26/03/2024: Excellent quality of raw materials. Ravioli are the local specialty, seasoned with ragù or porcini mushrooms and truffles they are truly excellent. A little more attention to the service, we had ordered gnocchi with simple tomato sauce and they arrived with ragù. However, it is really a very beautiful place for a trip out of town, it is very close to Lake Turano

30/01/2024: Very intimate and quiet internal room. There is also a terrace used in less cold periods. Low prices compared to average, the portions of the first course are satisfying and also very good. Friendly staff.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Service: Excellent service, very approachable staff, nice and friendly with customers.
⭐⭐⭐⭐Menu: very satisfying rustic local dishes, generous portions, we expected more from the pappardelle with wild boar, but still everything was good, especially the cured meats and cheeses.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Location: surrounded by greenery in a fantastic setting, excellent restaurant which was completely in rustic style.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Prices: Very fair.
31/03/2024: We had lunch at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. Excellent service, courteous and helpful staff but above all the cuisine was something superlative.
Good prices, rustic and family atmosphere.

25/03/2024: Fantastic location, really nice and welcoming place.. The staff is very friendly, kind and above all very knowledgeable and is very dedicated to the customer.. in our case they carefully illustrated all the courses to us, starting from the appetizers or arriving at the sweet.. truly a fantastic experience and one to be repeated.. Very high quality food.. We hope to return soon to this pearl of Ovindoli, a stone's throw from the central square..
16/03/2024: Restaurant in Ovindoli, really nice and characteristic. Excellent food, excellent service, prices a little higher than the average of others in town, but it's worth it all, for the quality, professionalism and courtesy of the staff. Absolutely worth trying.
