06/04/2024: I left ecstatic. I took handmade tagliatelle all'amatriciana... Never eaten so good, I couldn't believe it, the end of the world. Then I took various mixed kebabs, one better than the other.
Go there, without thinking twice

11/03/2024: Let's start by saying that you will be faced with something very different from usual. I would say unique in terms of raw materials, combinations, workmanship and taste. Smoked red turnips, grapes, strawberries and rocket, and lentils with hazelnut cream are the best dishes on the tasting menu.
Let's get to the notes that are a little out of tune in my opinion. 1) Price - tasting menu at 210. I believe that in the presence of a raw material with minimal food cost (all plant-based) the research work and processing cannot justify the price (otherwise carnivorous menus or with raw materials of value would be at least double).
2) Quantity - I added 4 dishes to the menu. The quantities are really minimal and I would suggest increasing them. I would suggest increasing the quantity and variety of bread brought to the table.
3) speed of service - for the average of lunches in starred restaurants we went very quickly. I would have expected more information on the research work and preparations.
4)I took wines by the glass. Normal and local wines. 25 euros per glass. An insane price (basically if I had known beforehand I would have gotten the wine pairing for 100 euros). Nobody warned us though.
Would I go back? Yes but not at that price.

02/04/2024: Luckily there are still trattorias from the past! The pasta is still rolled out by hand by the owner and the portions are gigantic ‼️ Excellent cuisine, kindness of the staff, availability for bookings also on WhatsApp. The only flaw if I really have to find it are the spaces, I hope as they say they are arranging a larger location. Super recommended ‼️
26/03/2024: Excellent quality of raw materials. Ravioli are the local specialty, seasoned with ragù or porcini mushrooms and truffles they are truly excellent. A little more attention to the service, we had ordered gnocchi with simple tomato sauce and they arrived with ragù. However, it is really a very beautiful place for a trip out of town, it is very close to Lake Turano

02/04/2024: Introduction: we met there to celebrate the Easter holiday with 6 people.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Service: Excellent service, very approachable staff, nice and friendly with customers.
⭐⭐⭐⭐Menu: very satisfying rustic local dishes, generous portions, we expected more from the pappardelle with wild boar, but still everything was good, especially the cured meats and cheeses.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Location: surrounded by greenery in a fantastic setting, excellent restaurant which was completely in rustic style.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Prices: Very fair.
31/03/2024: We had lunch at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. Excellent service, courteous and helpful staff but above all the cuisine was something superlative.
Good prices, rustic and family atmosphere.

10/03/2024: Cozy place, carefully furnished in rural style, we had lunch with a vegetarian starter, among the various courses the sautéed mushrooms and gratin peppers are worthy of note, the chickpea soup and chestnuts are superlative with extremely generous servings. Excellent quality raw materials, excellent value for money. Friendly staff, punctual and professional room service. The restaurant boasts a large adjacent car park with a splendid view of the valley.
Absolutely worth trying.

06/04/2024: Very good local cuisine, appetizers of cured meats and sausages and local cheeses, very good EVO oil of own production.
The first courses were delicious, with very good kebabs and vegetables. Final gem offered by Fabrizio, the owner, 8 homemade distillates: gentian, saffron distillate and without words the rosolio.
06/04/2024: We had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant after a motorbike ride. We ate very well, really good meat. Informal environment, quick service and friendly staff. Very honest prices. We will definitely be back!

05/04/2024: Intrigued by the reviews, I book: in retrospect, completely unaware of why there are even moderately positive opinions, speaking of the restaurant:
Canteen food, clearly reheated poorly, in one of the first orders still raw pieces of the pasta it was made of were found.
Second courses that confirm the quality and canteen service.
Speaking of service, I would recommend providing customers with glasses and plates that are at least 70% intact, and perhaps a little more care in the plating, given that being a restaurant and not a construction company, food can be served without putting it down as if it were plaster. .
The desserts were happily skipped, the price was just average if it had been a quality meal....instead absolutely exaggerated for the aforementioned reasons. There is definitely better nearby.
01/04/2024: Feel like at home. We stayed two nights. The location is fantastic, a two minute walk from the beautiful village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. The room was clean, comfortable and in harmony with the natural surroundings. The proximity to the pond gives a great sense of peace. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast were absolutely top quality and the service was impeccable. The guys who run the inn are super helpful and nice. Thank you with all my heart!
Ps. I recommend enjoying the ice cream from the kiosk while walking along the lake shore: you are reborn!
