22/10/2025: Good flavour, nice staff, clean, reasonably priced.

02/10/2025: Disappointed that they do have gluten-free ice cream, but they don't rule out the possibility of contamination. It's fine for those with gluten intolerances, but certainly not for celiacs. In any case, I appreciated the sales assistant's honesty.

01/11/2025: Welcoming place and very good food. I recommend the amatriciana and the tagliatelle with truffle, which have a very strong flavor. The grill offers the right mix of meats, although some pieces arrived a bit too burnt. Not recommended on Sundays; there was a bit of a wait despite a reservation.

31/10/2025: It's a stone's throw from home, but I'd never tried it...well, I was wrong. Ever since we got two takeout pizzas one night, we've been going to La Brace every time. The pizza is delicious, with top-quality ingredients, and the staff is always helpful and quick, even when the place is packed. They're really good. I'll definitely try the meat.

18/10/2025: One Sunday, I followed my partner for work to the center of Piacenza. After training, we decided to stop at this place, just a few meters from the Piazza dei Cavalli in Piacenza. Well, what a treat! What a wonderful lunch! I ordered a schiacciata with sausage and broccoli rabe. I've never tasted anything better or tastier (a pizza, but much softer and more interesting, it was almost too easy to eat!). My wonderful partner ordered a piadina with prosciutto and cheese. It was very pleasant, not dried out from overcooking. The ingredients were high-quality and excellent. And we also had two drinks. Sitting under an ancient portico overlooking the square, on a September day reminiscent of June. (Beautiful and relaxing), in this place I felt like I was transported back in time for a moment and managed to unwind. The staff is very polite and courteous. I recommend you visit and stop for lunch, dinner, or an aperitif. You won't regret it. I can't wait to go back for the schiacciata... You've enchanted me there... I forgot about the price. Go and see. You won't believe your eyes. We spent just over 10 euros each.

05/12/2025: The restaurant is absolutely top-notch. The chef and owner pay great attention to the smallest details; even simple dishes always have a touch of quality and excellence. Service and courtesy are certainly not lacking. And what can I say if the chef personally comes to the table to make sure everything is fine?

24/09/2025: Low prices for umbrella rentals and good first courses on Saturdays. We also went for lunch on Sunday; it was packed, and the quality of the second course was questionable (considering the bill). Unfortunately, the beach had a few too many cigarette butts.

24/08/2025: Amazing Abbruzzese food at fair prices. I really can't recommend this place enough. From the pizzas to the capretto everything is locally sourced and absolutely delicious. You must call before you come, it's essential to have a reservation. Parking is snug on the street but you can make it work.

11/11/2025: Vegans take note! I had a beautiful dining experience at Civico 20. I was greeted like family during a very busy time when I did not have a reservation. I dined outside with a beautiful view of the castle and mountains. They have several delicious vegan options on the menu. Warm bread and fresh olive oil for dipping started the meal. I had the Peasant’s Soup for antipasto. It was a warm and delicious stew. I then had the Rintrocili pasta dish which was pasta and mushrooms cooked to perfection in a truffle cream sauce. I had no room for dessert but they even have vegan dessert options. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant (whether you’re vegan or not). It was the perfect ending to my castle visit. 03/11/2025: Terrible experience. Upon arrival, the waiter showed us our table without even showing us around. From the moment we ordered, we waited an hour and a half without even getting the requested entrees, and all this without the slightest apology from the staff. Another sore point: between each customer, the tables are cleaned with a duster and the tablecloths are not replaced. Following your response, I inform you that we called 40 minutes before arriving; when we arrived, many tables were still empty. Your precious olive oil had not been touched at all, and yes, we ate bread and drank water. We ordered three different entrees, not five, as you claimed. We didn't order appetizers. Is that mandatory? If you had informed us of the difficulties you were having, we wouldn't have ordered entrees, but rather something else. Furthermore, you were signaled to you several times, but you never approached our table. Before leaving, my husband came into the restaurant to pay for our order. There are no photos, but can you tell me what I should have photographed? I understand that a negative review is annoying, and your response, dear restaurateur, speaks for itself.

26/10/2025: First time at this restaurant, and I have to say we were truly impressed. The location is truly beautiful, well-kept and well-maintained, the staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and the first courses are truly delicious—homemade pasta and sauces just like grandma's, but also innovative and tasty combinations. The meat is well-cooked and very well-prepared. The price is truly excellent for the quality and portions. We'll be back soon.

30/07/2025: Very friendly staff, good food despite the low price. The location is remarkable (the dough is the only sore point, but excellent toppings and a wide selection).

13/04/2025: It's a pizza place with a few tables for eating in. We were won over by the large crowd waiting for takeout and the constant coming and going of young people consuming. It was a fantastic meal; the pizzas were delicious, but the fried foods were frozen. Just a stone's throw from Avezzano, I would have expected at least local fries. Standard drinks, commercial beers.

21/08/2025: Great local cafe serving fantastic coffee, fresh pastries and super spritz all at good value and service. Robert and his team looked after us daily for breakfast and the occasional afternoon refreshments despite our lack of Italian. Definitely recommend.
