02/01/2026: A dump that deserves to be closed down. Rude staff, dirty environment. They have trash cans in front of the pizza counter. A disgrace. Obviously, the pizza is disgusting.

29/12/2025: Terrible experience with the reservation made on Good to Go. The place was closed when I picked it up. Terrible behavior.

11/10/2025: Great staff, absolutely good pizza, welcoming, we went back twice in two days.

21/08/2025: Horrible pizza... not recommended. I received a pizza with inedible raw mushrooms.

10/03/2026: I actually wanted to eat at the place across the street, but it was closed, so I came here instead. To be honest, I thought I shouldn't come because of the reviews, but my hunger won out over my common sense. I figured, what could possibly go wrong? The owner looks like Tony Soprano with thick gold chains and told me I had to wait 20 minutes because the oven needed to heat up. I have to say, if you open a restaurant, the oven should be on. Customers shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes; that's a matter of planning. I ordered a Bufalina and a Napoli, and the pizzas were so good that I'm going back tomorrow. I'd give it 4 stars because of the wait, but the pizza was really very good for the price. So, 5 stars. And what I also appreciated was that the owner made food for a young Black boy and wouldn't let him leave otherwise. That shows heart in a world that's getting colder. No child should go to bed hungry.

17/02/2026: Ristorante veramente carino a San Salvo Marina con un clima accogliente e personale gentile con piatti abbondanti a prezzi veramente ottimi unica pecca generale trovata diciamo è l'attenzione in generale dal cliente alle forniture di alcune cose sul menù mancanti ma si sa che molte cose coinvolgono la gestione di un ristorante e che come nella vita non tutto può essere sempre perfetto (nulla da togliere alla gentilezza e disponibilità dei camerieri eh ) per una cena in compagnia e famiglia nella quale si desidera mangiare comunque bene e senza rimanere affamati è consigliatissima tant'è che l'ho raccomandata già ad amici e parenti. Gestione di prenotazione con The Fork e scontistica eccezionale, non abbiamo avuto problemi. Torneremo sicuramente.

20/01/2026: We just ordered pizzas for delivery, sparkling water, and an unfiltered Ichnusa. We opened the order and, lo and behold, the water was still, and instead of an Ichnusa, there was a Heineken. I say no, when you take orders over the phone, you shouldn't serve customers at the counter. First you do one thing and then another. If you don't know how to work, don't work because these things happen, and it's not even the first time. We won't order again. Never again.

11/01/2026: Everything is delicious, we always order from Don Basilico Pizza, four cheeses, cooked ham is also excellent. The light dough and curly mango all also with truffle is excellent, I recommend it.

26/08/2025: The place is way too expensive (a tiny bao costs €16 and a poke costs €14 with very little to choose from) for what it offers. The wait times are incredibly long, and they even made the wrong order. One of the guys even confirmed several times that the mistake was ours, saying it was written on the sheet we filled out to compose the pokes. When we asked him to show us the sheet, we pointed out that the mistake was theirs. Unprofessional, definitely not recommended.

20/08/2025: I'm sorry but I have to give a negative review. My daughter's sandwich was stale and having reheated it, she couldn't eat it because it was so hard... the drinks and the cover charge were expensive...

12/11/2025: I called to order "spianata" pizzas. Where I come from, "spianata" means a larger pizza, placed in a larger box, to be shared at parties. The lady, not understanding, made annoyed jokes and rudely rejected my request. I had never spoken on the phone with someone so unprofessional and unpleasant.

07/03/2026: The place needs to be renovated. But otherwise, I recommend it.

08/12/2025: They left us without food on December 8th, my mother's birthday, with a menu pre-arranged the week before. Everyone in the dining room was eating; we waited from 1:15 PM until 2:40 PM. The only dish they brought us was a paltry appetizer for two people to be shared by five, while the others were served larger and more varied entrees. Naturally, we complained to the waiter, who gave us a rude response. We got up and left.

06/04/2025: Located in a strategic position and attracted by the beautiful appearance of the location, we go to this place on a Friday evening. The guy who welcomes us, really kind and helpful and the only positive note of the experience, makes us sit in the restaurant next door, belonging to the same chain, but allows us to order from their menu. Hence a nightmare: almost an hour of waiting for a hamburger with chips, served cold, and a portion of BBQ ribs, the latter consisting of exactly four ribs in number, also served cold. Terrible value for money and food without infamy or praise.

09/03/2025: Not bad lunch menu, plentiful and cheap. But the wait between a first and a second was endless.. It took us two hours

27/02/2026: No menu was given but a kind lady helped with the translation. Fish for 2 was 60€. We found this so very expensive. We paid for a drink we never received and we were asked to pay cash which we did not have. The view is beautiful but if you do not speak Italien it is complicated. We feel that they abused of our kindness and trust by not speaking Italian.

12/02/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant yesterday, and it was a real disappointment, despite the beautiful view. As soon as I sat down, I found a napkin all crumpled and dirty. I asked for a change immediately, which was promptly done, with another one brought that was worse than the first, and then a third. The glasses also left much to be desired. The service took forever, even though there were very few people in the restaurant. My husband was served a different dish than the one he ordered, and was advised to eat it, otherwise he would have waited a long time. My son's plate, however, contained just two spoonfuls of risotto. I believe the toilet dates back to the early 1900s. It was a real disappointment, and we will definitely never return to this restaurant again.

01/11/2025: The place is just beautiful to look at... I bought a diplomat and a baba... Bad idea. The diplomat is normal, while in the baba, guys, you can't believe it... INSTEAD OF RUM THERE WAS WATER!!!! ABSURD... NEVER EVER EVER HAS SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENED!!!! WATER IN A BABA!!!! Wear a mask!!!!

18/01/2026: The room, quite warm, is spacious, as is the bathroom, equipped with a large shower. Breakfast is served in the property's bar, just below the rooms, and is truly excellent, both in quality and quantity. The location is perfectly immersed in nature, with the river flowing nearby. We loved the place, and the owner, Antonio, is very friendly. The parking lot needs improvement, ruined by bad weather, but they are working on it.

02/01/2026: Stayed three nights for New Year's Eve. Friendly hosts, nice and clean rooms, very good breakfast. Overall, a great experience!

01/09/2025: Terrible experience! €1 plastic tables, wobbly. Prices inappropriate for the setting. Overpriced! Never again.

18/12/2025: Every time I order something at the McDrive, something is missing. Unbelievable.

27/08/2025: Let's start with the positives: it's a 5-minute walk from the sea, but it's also right next to the railway, so you can hear the trains when they pass. The building is old; our room was small and dated, poorly furnished, with a somewhat soft mattress and a bit dirty. Considering the price, I'm sure we won't be returning.

24/08/2025: Absolutely no, no, no, no, small room where you constantly bang your head. The furnishings are old and poorly maintained. No elevator. The noise of the train even at night disturbs sleep. And to top it all off, the room smelled like sewage from the bathroom. The staff was rude and unfriendly. The only positive was the breakfast buffet, which didn't reflect the excessive cost of this poorly maintained facility.

24/02/2026: Today I went to Megalo' and had a delicious Lox Pancake for breakfast. What can I say? Besides being beautiful to look at, the dish was delicious. Three small pancakes with avocado, salmon, cheese, peppercorns, and chives. Truly excellent, a healthy and filling breakfast at a fair price. The place is centrally located in Megalo' and easy to get to. Friendly staff. I'll be back for the Lox.

17/01/2026: The only thing I feel like saying is that if I could have opened a place like this, I would have done it immediately. As for everything else, highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
