05/11/2025: Correct review I remembered this little restaurant as a pleasant place, so after a long time I decided to return. Unfortunately, however, I was greatly disappointed. As soon as we entered, the atmosphere was more reminiscent of a canteen than a restaurant: tables lined up and a sign warning that, given the difficulty in finding staff, the service would not be able to meet all customer needs. The waiter greeted us by saying that "due to Covid," there was no menu, but that he would list it for us verbally (although he could bring us a paper one if we wanted). He then added that the cups were plastic, but he could bring us glass ones if we preferred. At that point, I felt like I was in a Candid Camera! We ate two fried appetizers, a pizza, a pasta dish, and a microscopic slice of watermelon. Total bill: 41 euros. Truly excessive for such a mediocre experience: 12 euros for two supplì and a few chips, for example. I understand the industry's difficulties, but we can't continue to blame Covid on ourselves when the restaurant industry is already restarting and many establishments are committed to offering better service. Here, unfortunately, I found neither quality nor attention, but decidedly outrageous prices. A real shame: they need to get some serious regulation.

25/10/2025: On Saturday night, we had a good thin Roman-style pizza, but the bill was too high, even compared to the menu displayed, with the fable of offering free amaro. Upon closer inspection, the prices also seemed more expensive than the menu displayed (which was already expensive!). A word of advice: the empty restaurant on a Saturday night deserves some reflection and self-criticism.

26/09/2025: We spent two comfortable weeks at the establishment. The daily prices for umbrellas and loungers are very competitive. The bar staff are very friendly.

06/09/2025: I couldn't give it less than one star...what can I say...a gin and tonic with Bombay and tonic in a plastic bottle cost €12...speechless... After a dinner with embarrassing quality and organization...

10/04/2026: Good pizza by the slice with a wide variety of flavors. The staff are friendly and quick.

07/04/2026: The pizza is good only because it's made with flour and as Alice Pizza requires, but let's forget it, at 2 pm the counter is empty with pizzas made 4 hours earlier, and there's not much choice. It's a shame, because Alice Pizza doesn't promise this, I'm sorry.

19/11/2025: The pizzas may be good, but I've always had problems with orders. Either they deliver pizzas you didn't order, or they arrive without some toppings, or they do their own thing. One time, my drinks didn't arrive. I called and they even gave me a rude answer. They lost a customer who had already given them several opportunities, but they don't know how to work.

18/11/2025: It's my one-stop takeout pizzeria. The pizzas are delicious and the delivery service is impeccable. Well done, you'll always be my go-to pizzeria.

21/02/2026: Chips already cold ... The owner was not at all hospitable, not even when taking the pizza order. It felt like being at a university exam. Not at all conversational. Cold and unwelcoming environment.

29/12/2025: We ended up here for lunch by chance, without a reservation. The staff were friendly, but the food was disappointing.

07/12/2025: We were looking for a nice place to end the evening. The food was good, but the portions were really small. The dessert was beyond words; I've never had such a bad, disgusting tiramisu.

26/08/2025: A very charming establishment, with tables for dining under a sheltered canopy, well protected from the wind and sun but with a view. The bar offers both breakfast and lunch and dinner. Delicious freshly baked croissants. Parking is available right outside the establishment along the seafront in paid parking lots. The beach is wide and sheltered from currents with breakers.

23/08/2025: Terrible experience. Burnt pizzas served 30 minutes before the arrosticini, which were supposed to be the appetizer, as explicitly requested. At the bill, they insisted on one single order and, only after much insistence, two separate ones for each family. Unfairly accused of trying to "rip off" someone. The bill listed 6 covers instead of 3; I reported the error, no apology, just arrogance: "Go ahead and write a review, we're always full anyway." Not recommended: check the receipt line by line. I read the response below: The strange thing is that I never spoke to him, and the person who paid was one of the friends present at the evening who told me about it, and who, by the way, is retired. I think he'd be better off weighing his words and explaining why he doubled the number of covers and not threatening nonsense... now even more inadvisable after the absurd response.

01/01/2026: Terrible pinsa Aquilana is not your profession, a drunk staff member who after a two-hour wait doesn't even tell you that the dish is no longer available, distracted waitresses, and clearly the wait to pay was even longer amidst the noise and the staff who don't pay attention to you. The only thing I appreciate is the local ham, which was excellent. The location wasn't bad at all, I can't comment on the cocktails as I didn't have the chance to order them, but overall... DO NOT GO THERE. If there are more than one negative comment, perhaps your performative responses are losing their edge. Instead, acknowledge your shortcomings and try to offer at least decent service. I won't say good because that would be too much to expect given the starting point.

07/12/2025: Friendly staff but very distracted. Everything was good: pizza, sandwiches, and chips. A characteristic place with a unique and well-kept atmosphere.

07/12/2025: Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. You can eat everything from starters and main courses to pizza. It's a must-visit for me!

23/11/2025: I had a truly excellent pork tagliata with porcini mushrooms. My husband also had a truly delicious roast beef. The review rating for this place doesn't match the quality of the food, which I found much better than other restaurants with higher ratings.

07/11/2025: A small, sincere and no-frills seafood restaurant where you will feel at home if you are not one of those people who prefer form to substance. Small, spartan and without great pretensions, yet intimate and welcoming. The owner welcomes us with warmth and even a pinch of ceremony more than necessary, at least for the type of place. So you immediately feel at ease while she tells you everything, about the restaurant and the menu but not only. We tried a simple but excellent seafood salad and two first courses, spaghetti with clams and chitarra allo scoglio, both good and plentiful. Water, wine, coffee and amaro, all for 20 euros per person. In short, what can I say: for those who appreciate the genre, an excellent restaurant.

11/12/2025: The beautiful gazebo overlooking the valley 🌄 is eye-catching, and a hot polenta is a must-try on a cool winter day ❄️. Various types of beer 🍺, there's something for everyone. The meatballs 🧆 and polenta 🥘 are not bad, although it must be said that the sausage in the photo on the menu actually turns into two small pieces on the plate 🤏. Prices are more or less in line (but the sausage cries out 😑).

26/11/2025: We stopped here in August. Unfortunately, due to the terrible weather, we couldn't enjoy the splendid view, but we consoled ourselves with some excellent craft beers, so good we even bought some to take home. Debora and the guy who was with her were very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is simple and informal, and in addition to the excellent beer, we also had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend it!

26/12/2025: Mediocre food, cold and unwelcoming place with dated furniture. Grumpy and rude owner. Not worth a visit.

14/12/2025: We took a mini vacation in Fossacesia, a beautiful, welcoming, and hospitable village. We had lunch and dinner for two days at the Bucco restaurant. Everything was delicious, the freshest fish was cooked to perfection, and the prices were top-notch. Thanks to Maria and her staff. Her son in the kitchen is an excellent chef!

26/09/2025: A wonderful lunch! Agriturismo Vecchio Frantoio is the perfect choice for those seeking tranquility and authenticity. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. The cuisine is superb: traditional dishes made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. A true haven where you can recharge your batteries. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: Book well in advance, especially on weekends. Delicious pizzas; as soon as you arrive, they'll offer you a truly delicious fritter. Top-notch arrosticini.
