13/09/2025: A tavern serving traditional dishes. They don't have fish on the menu, and when I ate there, they didn't even offer fruit. The ingredients are good quality and the prices are reasonable. A family atmosphere.

07/09/2025: The two of us arrived at 8:30 pm, not many people, just 4/5 tables already occupied. Twenty minutes later the waiter comes, without a menu 😏, we order arrosticini, a portion of grilled vegetables (a slice of courgette, two slices of aubergine and a forkful of peppers), a small bottle of water and two 33cl beers. In the meantime, 4 other tables are occupied and at 10:30 pm we notice that the arrosticini we had also been waiting for for almost two hours are brought to them. We ask for an explanation from the waiter who advises us to contact the owner... we go to the cashier trusting in at least a diplomatic "I'm sorry, we'll solve it right away..... but we find ourselves in front of a very polite 🧐 owner who elegantly shouts at the waiter: "these people are leaving, bring the arrosticini to nature table"🤮 ... more rude than that... We pay 18 euros, obviously without a menu I leave everyone free to interpret!!! But does the owner know that there is a legal obligation for transparency of information to the consumer and the right to know the prices? (Legislative Decree 206/2005) When you are in contact with the public, education and respect for the person in front of you (and you never know who) are the ABC and I won't add anything else, moreover, reading some reviews, it seems to me that this modus operandi of the illustrious owner has emerged several times. Highly not recommended to avoid, with all the places there are in Pescara we have the spoiled for choice without having to risk encountering such rudeness.

29/11/2025: I have to say that I didn't find anything negative about the negative reviews I read. On the contrary, the quality of the ingredients is high and the staff is courteous, kind, and helpful. The only negative note, "that's why the food is 4 stars," is that for me it's too much rice. I prefer smaller ones, but the ratio between rice and fish was perfect. COMPLIMENTS: Truly EXCEPTIONAL. Highly recommended.

06/12/2025: Each restaurant chooses how to present itself in terms of service, kindness, location, and attention to detail. La Mimosa has chosen to give itself a 3-star rating, overall. You'll eat mediocre fish, some even a little better. The service is simply there, flawless but also lacking in courtesy. The food is okay: without special flavors or recipes; the fish is neither fresh nor pureed. So in the end, you won't suffer or be thrilled. And you won't remember or return.

10/11/2025: The quality of the fish is truly excellent, especially for a mountain restaurant. The portions are very generous, and the pasta dishes are almost equivalent to two or three portions, so I recommend choosing just one type. The only flaw is the service, which is a bit slow—perhaps because the restaurant was busy that day. All in all, the quality and flavor are truly good, and the price is more than reasonable!

28/08/2025: The best pizza by the slice in the area, a must-visit for those spending their summer holidays in Tortoreto Lido and the surrounding area. It's a shame they forgot a few slices of pizza in the takeout order this year. Usually, we never have problems like this, but the poor service caused quite a few problems at dinner when we realized it, and obviously by then it was too late to return. Overall, I'd say the pizza is excellent and reasonably priced. Without ordering, you risk getting very little at dinner, so I always recommend booking beforehand.

06/09/2025: Sunday at the beach with the family A special place, very close to the center. The Lido Cortesito is highly recommended. It's a very beautiful and pleasant area, and if you find a seat in the first or second row, it's even better. You can walk near the new bridge and along a seaside path with a panoramic view—in short, everything you could want from a relaxing day at the beach. The owners are very friendly and courteous. They make you feel at home. What I can say is that, if you book, they let you eat under the umbrella, setting up one or two tables on site, which is truly a nice touch. There's music throughout the day, and the pizzas and fried fish are very good. Of course, there's a restaurant where the food is very good. Go there, you won't be disappointed; excellent value for money.

18/08/2025: Three stars only for the quality of the gelato, which was good. The staff was slow and unable to manage the flow of customers during peak season. The gelato portions were meager for a medium-sized cup.

19/09/2025: A typical beach resort with an attached restaurant. The sandy beach is excellent, and the umbrellas are very pleasant, a very unique Foggia look. Perhaps it wasn't the right day, but the spaghetti alle Vongole was particularly tasteless. The octopus and potato appetizer was good, but rather poor in quality. As for the price, as a guest, I can't be sure beyond the prices listed on the price list: I'd say it's about average.
